The trailer, as I'm sure you've seen, features the Apprentice walking down a corridor with Vader and Yoda trying to convince him to turn to the dark or light side - and of course there's Juno in there too. It sounds as though it's going to be a similar storyline in the sense of him choosing between the light and dark side, and I think that should mean it should be just as good as the first one, and is also a good thing because it very much follows the OT formula of good vs evil and it's battle within a person.
However I do hope they fix the gameplay issues that occurred in the first game, which although wasn't game-breaking or noticeable most of the time, were sometimes annoying. If they do both these things, I can see this new one being even better than the last and sell even better, too.
I must admit I was hoping Battlefront III was announced, but this is just as good, if not better.
Hey all, since it's close to Christmas, there is a lot of stuff going on, so I'll be busy and I won't return to normal activity until January. ![]()
Well that's just one reason I haven't been here much, another has to do with a game I started playing.
I have done something I never thought I'd do, I have gotten into World Of Warcraft. My friends, one of which has some level 80 characters, told me I should get into it. I played a little in the past at my friends house, but didn't like it much. But after playing again on Thanksgiving, I started liking it, and now I have the free 10 Day trial, which ends on the 16th.
I told my friends that I will be getting the game to continue with my characters in January, when I will pick up the Battlechest version of the game, which includes the first expansion pack called Burning Crusade. I really don't like the idea of paying $30 for 60 days, I have always been opposed to charging people such a highprice for a game they already own. But then I realised, they have a lot of servers that need money to maintain, so this is kind of like a forced donation that really is needed.
Still I wish they would make it so that days you don't log in don't count against you, that would be so much better. But anyway, I will be playing it a lot next month, but don't worry I will be here enough, probably talking about the game a lot. ![]()
Well, that's all for now. Take care, have a great weekend, and God bless! ![]()
Greetings one and all, long time no blog. In fact I haven't blogged in over a month now, it just seems that there have been oh so many distractions. For one thing it seems like I have stumbled back into the addictive realms of World of Warcraft again. I originally just returned to the game to enjoy the thanksgiving event, but after experiencing the instant gratification of my few days on there I couldn't help but be sucked back in. I now seem to be leveling more effectively than before and I'm even trying to get into raiding now which is something I shyed away from quite a bit before, partly because of how much time it consumed and partly because of how seriously some players seemed to take it, while I lagged behind constantly wondering whether I was "doin' it rite" or not. However, I have had to limit myself in my intake of WoW as I still have university work on my hands and coming up to the end of the firstsemester the pressure is on more than ever.
My first semester of university officially ends next week but what's it like to be a student who is just finishing their first three months of a computer games programming degree? Well, it's definitely been an interesting experience. The highlight of it all has definitely been learning about video games themselves and although a lot of the things that came up in the lectures on video games, I was already aware of it was great to have it all presented back to me along with new information. The coursework for that area of the studies also gave me something that was very fun to do and I'm even confident about the module exam. The low point for me has been the maths module which they introduced to the course this year. We have literally had to try and learn the equivalent of an A level in maths in the last 3 months and it feels as though the whole process has been very rushed and I've felt consistently confused as I struggled with everything being taught. As for the rest of the course I still don't think my essay writing is up to scratch with university standards yet but that's something that will probably come with practice. Learning about computer architecture has been cool and learning new programming code has been a good experience as well. Right now however it's crunch time and my sleep pattern will have to suffer some more so I can get an essay and four programming exercises handed in for next week as well as revising for a test.
The 18th December will see me speeding back to my family's home for the Christmas holidays and for a whole variety of reasons it will be good to be back. Naturally as a student I haven't had the cash to purchase a lot of the games I've wanted over the past few months, so I thought this would be an opportune time to share with you my Christmas wishlist of video games; Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Borderlands andDragon Age: Origins are my big four but given the chance I wouldn't mind getting my hands on League of Legends,Modern Warfare 2 or New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I'll just be happy to be in a nice big house with my mum's cooking for Christmas though. However, althoughthe Christmas holidays would usually last until 25th Januaryall computer games programming students have to be back in university for the week starting the 4th January which is a bit of a bummer.
This weekend there is an awesome event just around the corner though. While I'm sure it holds no major significance for many I'm personally pretty stoked about Bungie's world premiere of Halo: Reach at the Spike TV VGA awards. With so little known about the game it will be great to finally get a look at what will be the last of the Halo games (at least for now) and Bungie sure know how to dazzle a crowd. This week there's also a pretty awesome and rather unique event happening on Team Fortress 2. The soldier and demoman updates will soon be hitting everyones' PCs bringing with them new weapons and achievements but not only will each cl*ss receive 3 unlockable weapons but they are also both in the running for a secret seventh weapon. Valve have challenged the demoman cl*ss to get as many kills on the soldier cl*ss as possible over the next 7 days, while the soldiers are doing the opposite and trying to kill the demomen. Whichever cl*ss can kill more of the opposing cl*ss by the time our time is up gets that extra seventh weapon. It's exciting stuff and should I get any free time to participate in the conflict I'll be playing on the side of soldier as frankly I suck with the demoman.
Well, I guess that's what a months worth a backed up blog looks like. Hopefully I'll drop my next little bundle of blogging fun after returning home next Saturday. Until then I hope you all enjoy yourselves and I'll leave you with one of my favourite pictures of November 2009.

I managed to get The Saboteur early this week and I've been spending most of my time playing it. The game isn't game of the year material, but it's a good start. It's pretty much a GTA clone with elements from Assassin's Creed. The rate I've been playing the game, I thought I would have finished it in a few days, but I'm sure I'm nowhere near the end of the game.
I've also been playing Hasbro Family Game Night. The games bring back memories from childhood when I would actually play the board versions of the games. Whenever I'm in a casual mood I play it, however I'm reserving it only in the night. The reason is because the game cannot install on my HDD because I have the disc version, therefore it must run directly off the disc. The daytime here is extremely hot here and everytime I switch on my system, I'm in fear of the RRoD because my first system lasted less than a year and my current one is slightly over a year.
I also downloaded and played the Bayonetta demo, and I have to say, I was both impressed and disappointed by it. Too many things are happening on screen during combat and it was very hard to keep track with all the button mashing. Camera angles were a bit of an issue. Visuals were okay. The game itself looks like it would be very challenging. It might give God of War 3 a run for it's money. This might be the very first game I would purchase for 2010
Hello there! Time for another blog.
I have been given a diffcult dilema as you may already know, I have 500 free wiipoints worth of a nes game so I started to browse the library of nes games in the wii virtual console and some caught my attention, Mario 3, The Legend of Zelda, Megaman 3, Metroid, Castlevania I, II or III, and that's it,
Mario 3; I've heard Wonders about this game this was the best mario the epic adventure, bla, bla bla It's the only reason it's on the list I never played this mario before, even when I was a kid but what would I be missing jumping and hoping and killing bowser?
The Legend of Zelda: Ahh the first Zelda never actually played though, I remember I always started playing it but I got bored easily back when I had zelda collector's edition. I didn't know what to do and is easy to get lost, I would like to play it but I would do nothing once I get all the hearts and finish the game
Megaman 3; I downloaded Megaman 2 and I loved it, the music was amazing and it was quite a time I felt the thrill from megaman, jumping shooting beating bosses using their weapons and stuff really good but then why would I want to play the same thing again when I could download another game?
Metroid: Ahh metroid I always liked that game, cleared super metroid but I always wanted to play metroid nes, then again it frustrates me a lot to see move a lot from location to location searching for beams, missiles and stuff and metroid games are characterized for being quickly to complete so that you get a more nude picture of samus the faster you complete it, I remember metroid Fusion in my old game boy advance, I cleared it with all items in short time just to see samus in some shorts and with long blonde hair...ah still it's samus
Castlevania: I'm not exactly a follower of castlevania but still it's a game worth playing and the same issue with metroid, really hard to move from location to location and don't know sometimes the old graphics bring back memories, other they just stress me. Still there are 3 games so it must be good, I played all castlevania advanced games, and two of the ds ones, also de wii one.
That's it, I really don't know what to choose, I wish I would've bought two internet channels (if that were possible) so that I could have 2 free games, or that they would give a SNES game, I would buy street fighter but I'm having this dilema so I would like some help here, which one will you choose and why? I want to spend my free bonus game on something worth playing they are all great games I'll grant you that but they are so great is hard to find something that separates them from the other in the list. I just hope your opinions can help me clear my head. Anyway I'm sleepy now so I'll go to bed to rest at last.
Until Next Time
See ya!
my 360 is finally working and excited to play with you XBL friends again ![]()

Hey guys, it's been over a year since I've made a new blog ![]()
But I decided to write a new one since I'm bored and waiting for dinner. The only thing I've really done in the past ten months is lurk on random boards, and occassionally post in the OT every once and a while. I never really bothered to update my blogs. Actually, I haven't really been gaming much at all lately. I'll play Modern Warfare 2 or Halo every once and a while (Yes, I did get Cod Mod 2), but otherwise, I'm just too busy. Not only that, but I'm not always in the mood for a new game. I can't get into stories of games like I used to when I was younger. These days, I'm just a sucker for the online multiplayer.
I quit WoW a few months back, I sold basically all of my Wii games, and I currently only own one PS3 game (I got a PS3 over the summer...mostly for the Blue Ray). Gaming just hasn't been a big part of my life lately. I feel like a year or so back I complained in my blogs about a lack of gaming as well...but now I game even less than I did back then.
Yet for some reason, I keep coming back to this site. I keep looking at the updates, hoping for that new game to spark my interest. Finally, that game may have been released. After watching reviews, previews, play throughs, and whatever else I could find, I decided that I'd go out and buy New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This looks to be the game I've needed for a while. I haven't purchased it yet, but I can tell that it's definitely going to be incredible. I'm very happy that I did not sell my Wii, because I've been counting on a game like this to come. I remember back when I watched E3 over a year ago...seeing that terrible Wii press conference with that God awful finale for the Wii Music preview. I was so close to selling my Wii, and while I sold most of the games, for some reason I kept it downstairs. Perhaps now I'll finally put some hours on it.
So why am I so excited for this game? You may be thinking that it's just another Mario game and it only got an 8.5...There have been a bunch of games scoring higher than that lately. Well, this game is yet another Mario platformer that keeps the same formula but still continues to work so well. All of the 2-D Mario platformers never ceased to amaze me and they always bring me back to the glory days of old school Mario on the NES and SNES. Let's not forget that they brought back Yoshi and all of the bosses from Super Mario World. I feel like playing this game will have the same effect on me as did the previous Mario platformers.
Overall, whether it truely satisfies me or it disappoints, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is going to be the next game I play through. Even though I can't form an opinion since I haven't even started it, this game has caused me to go back to my Wii and actually play through a game. I can't say I'm expecting it to be the next Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros. 3, butI definitely expect it to be a great platformer. Have you guys played this game yet? If so, let me know how it is. I'm always waiting to hear impressions
. Anyways, I gotta get back to my homework (and waiting for dinner
). Peace,
-Oblivion
It was with great sadness that I found out this afternoon about 4 fellow officers in Washington state that were ambushed at a coffee shop just off-post from McChord Air Force Base. What is it with people today? It is reprehensible that these people think they can murder 4 people who were tasked with safe-guarding the public. The only reason people hate police is because they are law breakers themselves. They take what doesn't belong to them, they go where they are not supposed to go, they hurt the innocent, and turn around and get angry when they get caught by those whose job it is to stop them. We are hated until we are needed. We are the ones who have to say no and mean it. We are the defenders of the defenceless. We are held to a higher standard and we accept it with dignity, professionalism, integrity, respect, and accountability. No one watches out for us except us. We are criticized and condemned by the media for responding to a dynamic flow of events. We have 1 split second to determine what to do.The right choice may land us at the mercy of the media, while the wrong choice may put us in the grave. Some will say that we are rude or impolite. Some of us may be, but I ask you this..... Do you know what that officer's last call for service was? Do you know that he or she just finished telling a parent that their child was killed by a drunk driver? Do you know that the call before was the rape of an 11 year old girl? Before you pass judgement on us, take into consideration that we see the worst part of humanity on a daily basis and still hold fast to what we consider right; YOUR SAFETY, YOUR SECURITY, AND YOUR RIGHT TO LIFE.
Who's got either and which is better to play first?
Dragon Age or Left for Dead 2?
Screenshots look fabulous for both but please help me out.
cheers

resistance 1,2
rachet and clank tools of destruction

little big planet
killzone 2
army of 2 and now assassins creed 2 which the white edition is currently sitting next to me unopened as i wear the free hoodie that came with it.
iplan to get modern warfare 2 soon but with all these great games i have lost interest in games coming soon like mafia 2 and darksiders. We will see though and bioshock2 is going to be good
I'm stiiiilll alive! It has been FOREVER though. How has everyone been? I've been....okay. I've been making a lot of really bad decisions lately ha, buuuuut i'm working the kinks out. I've been extremely busy lately. I'm in french club, spanish club, HOSA, and HST at my school. Verrrryyy busy. I've grown an inch, which is highly surprising. My hair is red and black, don't remember if it was the last time i was here. My ears are stretched to 0gs. I've been getting into a lot of fights with my parents lately, and I'm highly considering moving out soon. I'm going to wait until I get a job to do it though. So I can semi support myself. Found love but, it isn't really working out the way I thought it would. I'm completely in love with my bestfriend of LIFE, I've known him since birth and I just recently figured it out. I told him and he gave me "You're more friend material. Plus, I couldn't even think that way because I've known you FOREVER." It literally shattered my heart. Honestly, worst pain I've ever felt. Hes still my bestfriend and I'm still in love with him, it just hurts a lot more when I see him talking to other girls or when he talks to me about his girl problems. It also doesn't help that I'm a veeerrry jealous person.
This past weekend, I went and saw Flyleaf and Halestorm, who were absolutely AMAZING. I'm seeing Framing Hanely this week. Can't wait. Speaking of music, Lil Wayne going to jail? Rappers go to jail all the time, I wonder if its a competition to see who can be locked away the longest. My favorite band is A Day To Remember. It used to be Blink 182 and McFly but, McFly I gave up on considering they've played at every place in the world besides the US. And Blink will always be tied for my numero uno spot, that'll never change...even if Angels and Airwaves wrecked Tom's voice. I feel like I should just take about two hours out of my schedule to write a blog on everything i listen to, considering when I mention a band or group to some people they say, "I've never heard of them." and I feel like its a deadly sin.
OOOH, SPORTS. My teams got off to a great start this year, then kind of drifted. My NY Rangers are in second place in the Atlantic division, with the record of 8-3-1, suck on that Sidney Crosby. My new favorite player is Michael Del Zotto. Petr Prucha is still on my list, I'm still keeping up with him on the Coyotes. Giants are doing pretty good too. NY Mets just epically failed this year, and I could rant for hours about it but, thats all I'm going to say. ![]()
Moooovies: PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. Who has seen it? I have. Did it freak you out? Cause it sure as hell made me paranoid. Its not that its scary...but its freaky as hell. I was so paranoid that night.
Everyone is making too big a deal out of it, its killing the buzz. I watched Marley and Me for the first time the other day and, I'm not even going to lie, I cried like a baby. Literally body rocking sobs. It was terrible.
Saw 6 anybody?
Can't wait to see that one either. It still gets me how they have a story line, considering Jigsaw died in like the second freakin' movie. hahaha.
Sorry for the long ass hell update but, I haven't been here in a while and thought I should put some time into it.
Since I'm never here anymore, you can add me on myspace and facebook. :]
