Bruce Lee left many marks of his legend as a movie star of many famous action flicks as the world Black Belt Hall of Fame and the most flawless expert of the Jeet Kune Do art which thereof he established. Fist of Fury was short and the Game of Death to me was either unfinished or it was meant to the short. Enter the Dragon was good since it gave an interesting aspect of joining a martial arts tournament in the story. Way of the Dragon involves the difficulties of leading a restaurant that is near the headquarters of an Italian mafia in Italy. Tang Lung played by Bruce travels to Italy from the new territories of Hong Kong to meet with an acquaintance at the airport in Italy. In Rome, he meets his friend at a Chinese restaurant, only to have the territory become the battlefield of a mafia attempting control of the area. As each time of trouble with the gangsters start, Bruce would take out more what he can handle.

Bruce Lee 'cannot' wipe the floor with everyone unless it was acted out in script, but it's strange how he can tell what's behind him and what has popped out in a split second. I'm thinking it could be reflexes or animal like senses. It doesn't look possible to do what Bruce does in most of his films during fights. In this movie, most of the camera works focus on Bruce swinging nunchuks with camera focus without showing the opponents, and then the bad guys act out as if they were slapped. So I'm guessing some of the fights are real or just acted with hits to disguise the fraudaction scenes. Most of the fights scenes look realistic with bruises and sound effects. It is the most well played way of any fighting match. If there were two people, then one of them would be the victor, and that would be Bruce. Near the end, Tang fights Karate pro Chuck Norris, whom we are familiar with as the protagonist of Walker Texas Ranger. It was a good fight, and one of the best ones in any Bruce Lee movie. Most of the battles were easy warm-ups, but Chuck was the real one. The match of life and death was a setting at an Ancient Roman Colosseum at the highest level. There were some complaints how anyone would suspect Bruce to get lost in a building with so many exits.

The characters are both weird and hilarious. You've got a gay and a group of Mafiosos wearing funny clothing like it 'is' the sixties. Chuck Norris never spoke any dialogue since this is a Cantonese spoken film with both American and Chinese characters in the act. If I were to watch the English dub then I would not be surprised because not all of the re-dubs are fun to listen to. Bruce Lee wasn't himself in this one, since most of his films when he can express his arrogance to students and friends. His personality will show silly ignorance and bloodshed like the old Bruce. Lee has always been shown with nunchuks as his best choice in a tight situation. He's the most profound expert with any Shaolin weapons. And in addition to skill, his body is ripped like lesser steroids. Despite his arms looking as if Dexter Jackson to out do him, he is fast and yes, he is strong.

I've seen Jackie Chan's Drunken Master but this one goes way beyond that. Watching these action films puts me into a condition where I have more energy to exercise. I wanted to compare myself to the masters of these fighing arts. Way of the Dragon make Bruce Lee a big Hollywood star for his action performance. But there's got to be a reason with the fake scenes, which does not make a great majority of the film. This is one of his works that stands out the most beyond any Martial Arts film. Bruce Lee made himself my greatest movie idol not in consequence of this, but all of his action shorts and other flicks. But this made him into a combat legend among all martial artists.

I usually don't make this type of blogs…but…..there goes nothing…..

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD !

Those of you who know me…..know that I haven't played a RPG in a long time, mainly because it's really hard for me to find time for them. Between family, work ( and shooters) finding time to play this type of games is getting more difficult as time passes by. As TTDog said……I feel…..no…..I'm playing this as a total nOOb….

Why did I choose Demon's Souls ? I gave it for granted that Uncharted 2 was going to be Best PS3 Game and Game of the Year. My jaw dropped when I saw Demon's Souls won I felt a morbid curiosity to play the game that according to Gamespot won best RPG, best PS3 and Game of the Year…… beating U2 in the process….. and being a PS3 exclusive….that gave me more curiosity.

Starting up on the game the intro movie is just fine…. Yet simple and obscure , not giving me much details of the pain and suffering that I was about to endure…..

Starting cla-sses: What do I find ?

- Soldier, - Knight, - Hunter, - Priest, - Magician, - Wanderer, - Barbarian, - Thief, - Temple Knight, and Royalty. Decisions, decisions……I was going to choose a Barbarian, since it goes more with my barbaric personality (that's what my wife says anyway) ……

I ended up choosing a Soldier, the most basic type, the one I found just right for a so called noob like me.

After customizing my character, have to say that menus are user friendly and easy to navigate, I found something that still irritates me: YOU CAN'T configure your buttons and are forced to default settings ! ARGGHH!!! I hate that….. I can't seem to get used to the fact that you're obligated to use the L1, R1, L2 and R2 buttons to use your sword and your shield….this works for shooters but it's really hard and sometimes annoying here…..

Going into the tutorial stage was rather easy. This may sound like a crazy thing and stupid to some of you, but when I first step into Boletarian palace, that place gave me a dejavu sensation of Resident Evil 4 castle….weird eh ? …..the sound effects of walking over water reminded me that caste even more. . Walking and running through the very first stage of the game was interesting yet simple.

Finally….I started my journey on Boletarian Palace fighting zombie like creatures, again…I felt a dejavu feeling of Resident Evil 4…..

Exploring Boletarian palace was fun as I like the concept of wandering through small corridors, and killing enemies with your sword, when suddenly I got killed by a horde of monsters. L One thing that I don't understand is why on earth YOU LOSE all the souls you've collected ?

Going all the way back where you die to touch your bloodstain to regain them gets on my nerves after a couple of times…..

After that…well…I lost how many times I died fighting monsters. Staying in soul form is not that very funny since your HP is reduced almost half.

After much suffering and frustration I finally managed to met my first boss battle. The Phalanx demon. Turned out to be a very easy boss. After that I just regained physical form, with the option of going back to the nexus where I can choose which way to go, either another location or I can just continue to explore the rest of the boletarian palace.

I chose the later one, (thanks for Hazelnutman for the tips ! ) only to find a BIG and annoying dragon that torched my ass with flames…..

To be honest…..the game core is pretty solid, but it's getting on my nerves pretty fast. I don't know if I will have the time to endure getting killed constantly…and going over again and again… I could talk about more things, but honestly….I don't feel I have the will too…. I can already hear TTDog voice giving me the NOOB !! treatment.

There's one thing clear for me at this moment. Demon's Souls didn't deserve the best PS3 game of the year title…..U2 was. Now….I'm more curious to see if Demon's Souls is a better RPG than Dragon Age…… but….I'M NOT GETTING another RPG, at least not while I have Demon's Souls.

Well…that's pretty much i..... Now let's find some more time to play it.

2009 was a very successful year for me. I was able to meet all of my resolutions and then made some even greater accomplishments. Some of the highlighst of my year were getting into Early College, making some of the best friends ever at my new school, getting all A's during my first semester of high school/college (4 Honors High School classes and 2 college classes), getting (winning) an Xbox 360, getting an iPod Touch, learning about and getting interested in a ton of different styles of music, playing a load a awesome games (Modern Warfare 2, Forza 3, Fat Princess, inFAMOUS to name a few), becoming a moderator for NoobFeed.com and getting to work as a news writer for sometime, and signing up for Facebook (how was I living life before Facebook? [Me]) So with such a good year its going to be rough for 2010 to beat. But I think it can do it. I mean look at the games alone that are coming out: MAG, Alan Wake, Heavy Rain, Splinter Cell Conviction, Final Fantasy XIII and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker just to name a few. This is not to mention Natal and the PS3 Motion Controller. I have a feeling Im gonna have real fun this year. So bellow I have posted my New Years Resolutions:

1. Sign up for Gamefly: This way because I do not have the money to buy many new games I will be able to play more games for a cheaper price. I have Netflix and love it so I am looking forward to Gamefly. With me getting a 360 late in the game I have a lot of catching up to do, plus my PS3 is gonna want someting to do after I finish some of the hits I got for it over Christmas.

2. Keep above a 4.0 GPA in school: Doing real well right now. I havent calculated my GPA as of late but its pretty up there. closer to 5.0 than 4.0!!!

3. Not start a war: Ok. Im a big military guy. I talk about the army and war and stuff a lot and often joke around about Nuclear Weapons (my catch phrase is Nuke 'em!). I figure there are a lot of countries out there that want me dead, and I dont have a big enough army (yet ) to take them so it probably isnt a good idea to start a war.

4. Dont die: Hey. I got high school and college drama to live with. Plus im driving now. And I have yet to play Uncharted 2. So my chances of getting killed are very high, espcially looking at all the countries that want me dead (I know your reading this! Ill take ya!).Well just wanted to throw that one in there.

5. Get over 250 Trophies and 5000 Gamerscore. I wanna show my worth in the gaming world and I know that doesnt sound like much but I dont get to play a lot of new games and well, money and game prices and, yeah. But Gamefly is gonna help a lot.

Well I guess thats enough this year. I really want a paying job too but that doesnt look to promising right now but whatever. Have a good year.

So after a ridiculous amount of time I didnt blog for, here is my second blog in a few days.

I played Modern Warfare 2 at my friends house and its f*cking awesome! I am so in love with this game, its the first FPS I have enjoyed this much since Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64. Pity I still havent bothered doing anything about my PS3 being broken. That will either change soon or Ill see if WOW still has that cheap 360, though I doubt it.
IF you havent played that game. Do it. NOW! Make sure you can play it multiplayer though, thats where the awesomeness is.

As for the drinking game. Transformers: The Movie. Yes, the original 1986 clas$ic. All you gotta do is drink for every Transformation and death. I dont know how many drinks youll go through exactly, I kinda lost count but I know I was somewhere between my 2nd and 3rd drink at Galvatrons entrance. If youve seen the movie, youll know thats not far into it. Probably 20 - 30 minutes.

Well, I hope you all had a happy New Year and didnt take your phone swimming like I did.

Sorry about not leaving a comment or two on many of my friends' blogs... I guess I am just lazy for the time being. However, come the new year - Such habit will change and I will get back posting.

This rather unfortunate story on my end.. Just recently, on my previous blog, I got new PS3 Slim however after spending nearly 2 hours with few different Sony representatives they all gave me the same answer: "I'm sorry but your user-name account Sokol2007 (which I have had since my launch ps3..) has reached 5 accounts usage and you can't activate your PS3 Slim with the same name"...

I even tried de-activating my brothers PS3 I gave him few days ago but it appears I still have additional accounts used. In theory I have 4 PS3's since 2007 and it seems like I reached the limit..

There is nothing else they can do for me other then creating brand new PS3 Account. This means few things for me:

- I lost my Qore subscription, I have to buy it re-subscribe again for a year service. 24.99$

- I lost all of mine PSN download content, from Flower, to Wipeout HD, FFVII, Battlefield 1943 and so on. All of my DLC for any given game, and there are quite a few of them, from Dragon Age origins DLC - to Killzone 2 maps.

- All of my 900 trophies are gone as well.

Basically, I have to start from scratch.

I updated my profile page to reflect my new PSN Name and I have re-added 90% of my friends list.

On the other side, there is really nothing I can do. I'll eventually, after few months get the trophies back but the rest I'll have to re-purchase. I guess.. it was my fault for having to many PS3's.. I'll keep this fresh new Account to one PS3 only.

Holy cheese! Finally!!! After all this damn time of waiting and being teased by Sega we finally get Yakuza 3!!! If you haven't figured it out already...I'm pretty ****ing excited.

Watch it! Buy the first 2!! Play them!!! Beat them!!!! And then wait for Yakzua 3 to come out!!!!! Then buy it. Or don't if they aren't your kind of game...whatever we all like different things.

Now some may be wondering the whole FF XIII thing. Well Yakuza 3 is due out in March. FF was gonna be the game for that month but now that Yakuza 3 is finally on it's way...screw it. Although my birthday is in March so maybe I might be getting both. Course if I do Yakuza is going into my PS3 first!

So yeah I'm in a pretty good mood at the moment. Oh yeah and sorry if I've been missing countless blogs...had things going on in life ya know.

Oh yeah and I'm planning a theme change again sometime soon. Damn new addicition of mine! Oh yeah and I haven't posted a meganekko pic in ages(or a blog for that matter). Well you should be able to figure out the addiction from the character in the picture.

But not really. It's my 21st birthday today, so yay? I just don't get as excited over my birthday as I used to. It just seems like any other day (I think I said the same thing last year too. ). Besides going to get my driver's license renewed at some point, I plan on doing nothing but gaming today. Also having Donatos Pizza for dinner (best pizza in the world!) and Pumpkin Pie (best pie in the world!).

Don't really think I'll be getting too much for my birthday as far as presents go. My car needed a new muffler a few weeks ago and new tires, so that was my birthday/Christmas from my parents. I'll probably get something from my grandparents, but not too much. I don't really care that much though. I realize money is tight right now the way things are with the economy and I'm not too materialistic anyway.

Till my next blog...which I guess will actually be around Christmas. I won't do another 7 month blog hiatus I guess.

Finally got around to installing Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) on my XPS 420 last night.

Well here's a quick run down on the install.

First off it was QUICK. Damn Quick. It took around 20 minutes from start to new desktop.

No need to install drivers for the SATA controller (as you would with Vista) as this was detected and worked out of the box.

Once completed a quick check of device manager showed everything was detected, except my Sound Blaster X-fi. This was detected as a HIGH RESOLUTION AUDIO DEVICE or some such thing. When I say everything else I mean everything else. TV card, check. 19-1 card reader + bluetooth, check. GTX 295 video card, check. Dell 2408WFP monitor, check. The list goes on and on.

I did a quick Windows Update and updated drivers for all hardware including the X-fi were available, so I installed all of these.

Once the machine came back up from the reboot I installed Microsofts free anti-virus software Microsoft Security Essentials.

Something that really impressed me was most of my "video" files all worked out of the box, DVDs, XviDs, etc. Blu-ray on the other hand did not play. I'll check out Nvidia's PureVideo HD or something similar over the next few days as I come to grips with Microsoft's new OS.

So now the big question. Was it worth it? To be totally honest, no not really. It feels like a well tuned Vista, but I already had 1 of those.

If you do decide to update though be prepared for an extremely quick/painless experience. I'm up and running and I haven't downloaded any drivers at all other than the most up to date Nvidia drivers for my GTX 295, and I'm pretty sure they were available from Windows Update too.

Last night I started restoring my Steam games from a back up I created. When I finally woke up (after a night at the pub) ... NOTHING! The backups just kept locking Steam up. So I'm currently downloading Borderlands, and I'll get round to the rest of my games later.

Can anyone here say that they do not get annoyed and/or angry whenever someone not only goes against your opinion, but they make it a point to belittle you because of it? I'm not talking about my method, which consists of me attacking your opinion's foundation and pointing out it's contradiction... if you get angry at that, that's probably just you fearing that I may be right. The type of thing I'm talking about is someone truly looking down at you as a human being. If anyone can say that it doesn't bother them at all when someone does that, I have a television I'd love to throw you in. Because quite frankly, I don't believe that.

Looking down on someone is a fundamental flaw, regardless of who they are. I may blatantly look down on your opinion(s) for whatever well-backed reason, but unlike some, I completely separate your opinion from how you treat me outside of arguments/debates. In other words, your personality alone is what I go by. There are some that either take debates too far and avoid you or they give off "signs" that they think you're unworthy to speak to. These types of people are a huge irritation to me. It doesn't matter what ****you are, how much money you have, what type of gamer you are, or even how extreme your opinions are. You don't compare or treat that individual like dirt because of differences. By that logic, we could essentially flip the situation around, and if that individual hates the feeling, he's a walking contradiction and we all should know how much I hate blind contradictions. If I ever find someone looking down on me or my friends, I will not leave the situation unscathed for that person.

Another thing that angers...well...annoys most of us (with good friends), would be keeping vital pieces of information from each other. The real reason good friendships die is because people have the tendency to take the coward's way out and not communicate what their problem is with said friend. That's right, I went there.

As someone who has taken many blows from situations where friends would keep their animosity for me tucked in their hearts, I do not appreciate the concept of keeping things inside of you like that. It is perhaps the reason why I am dubbed "loud" online and "honest" in real life. I don't like to keep grudges, and I don't like people keeping them on me. Something that could easily be fixed just by explaining what's wrong and working it out becomes to complex to ever save the relationship. If you're one of those people who are holding grudges instead of working/fighting them out, then I am sorry but:

You do not have the right to ignore/hurt/insult the other person if they don't know why you're doing so.

Don't you see, by you not simply talking, you yourself make the situation worse. And if you value that friendship, I would hope you would want that friendship to be the best that it can be. And keeping crap in is certainly not the pathway to do that. Especially if you're going to be a jerk about it. In fact, I could easily go as far as to say that you yourself are on equal footing as the person you're holding a grudge against. Sure that person did something that angered/annoyed you to the point you can't treat him/her with the same kindness you give others, but, if you too are now providing tension in the relationship, explain to me how you're any better in any sort of way? I've lost so many friends and so many potentially great friendships and it stings. Horribly. Almost as much as anyone who doesn't put an asterisk on their post so I know they didn't skim through my blog. And yes, I apologize beforehand for those who feel annoyed at me putting tricks on my blog, but hey, I would like to know who's skimming and who's not. In any case, I can assure you that if you have a problem with a friend and don't fix it, it WILL get worse and that bond will most likely shatter during the worst time. Just talk to that person. Especially if it's me (of course!). If that person values you as a friend, they'll try and work it out. And that my friends, is the first and only "nice" rant you'll receive from me.
