Anyone else been getting them off some idiot called Johnny410? He was sending a hell of a lot of abuse but seriously over a review? that's just pathetic in my books. Probably some fan boys because I gave killzone a 7 or Halo 3 an 8.

Siiigh sometimes i feel like losing hope on humanity.

Basically i'm making something special for our anniversary. So i'm not sure between a slideshow of her photos editied or just a full blown videos with pictures of her and me expressing myself lol.

Any ideas at all?

Batman games have always sucked pretty hard but everyone has high hopes for this. It's not amazing but its at least decent however after all the hype i'm just let down.

Pros:

Great Graphics

Great Art design

Great Voice Acting

Promising Story

Great Atmosphere

Cons:

Too easy, I'm not kidding. Press square repeatedly and you'll never lose, never mind the counter button. Square is God.

Grapple gun is not manual which is very very dissapointing.

Investigation mode is useless.

Camera is rather hit and miss.

Feels like it could become tedious.

Overall:

While I enjoyed my short time with the demo I must say I wasn't entirely impressed. The problem is Batman is too overpowered. I don't feel like I'm controlling him when I put him into combat, the square button feels more like a "Batman beat everyone please" button. Or cruise control button to put it more simply. I was just expecting more. Also with the news that Eidos are apparently buying off reviewers again is just bad news.

I hope this does well but I think Batman and Superman games are destined to always suck.

Well recently i went to Hong Kong and while there I found copies of Vampire Rain : Altered Species and Demon's Souls.

Both supposedly solid games. Vampire Rain is supposedly one of the worst games ever made due to its "impossible difficulty."

Funny that Demon's Souls should get so much praise eh? Vampire Rain is extremely popular over in Asia and I just completed it in one sitting. I have to say, this is the most underrated game i've ever played. One thing I must say is that reviewers are terrible, half of them haven't actually played Altered Species i'm sure as it IS NOT the same game that was released on the 360, there are absolutely hundreds of changes, the most notable being difficulty. The game is not impossible, in fact its one of the easiest games i've played in recent times. I found Dark Sector more challenging than this. I love how reviewers failed to mention this and the changes to missions/storyline. They said there was an extra mode after the game was completed but yet again, i fail to see any reviewers saying what this is and i personally think this is because none have completed the game.

Next: Demon's Souls.

Lived up to expectations. Brilliant, nothing more, nothing less. However I believe it'll only get ratings of 7-8 tops because this IS a hard game. Most people seem far to trigger happy to think their way through games nowadays. I hope it gets the reviews it deserves.
