well I reached 11,000 posts back on July 10, 2008. that's pretty bad
1,000 posts in a year and a half. but I've been posting more often so that post count should keep going up. I usually made blogs about reaching another 1,000 posts so I figured I'd do it again. also, if anyone is interested in joining a union that has to with relationships and love and stuff it'd be awesome if you could join. it might sound corny to some people but it's actually an awesome union. we do a lot of other stuff too and we even have a contest going on right now. it's doing much better than it used to but it'd be awesome to get as many members as we can. it's called The Relationship Union (TRU) let me know if you have any questions.
I'm gonna watch TNA, I hope that you guys watch it too!
Tonight @ 8PM EST on Spike TV!
Hey everyone! Another new blog! Not a lot has happened since my last post. The car is still not working, so no update there. I had a great Christmas! I hope you guys did too! It was raining on Christmas day for me.
That was a bit depressing... but I got some great gifts and had a lot of fun with my family. I only got two gaming related gifts this year. The New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii, and a new TV so I can play my 360 again. I've only played to the second world, but I've really enjoyed the New Super Mario Bros. It blends all the old school Mario games into one, but it still feels fresh, and it's just plain fun! Multiplayer is a blast too!
I finally got an iPod, which was something I desperately needed. I've been using a cheap, cruddy MP3 player for years! The iPod truly is amazing. It's so thin and tiny, but it can do so much. Lawl, that kinda sounded dirty. Anyway it's an electric blue Nano iPod. I think the Nanos are fairly new. I've been seeing a lot of ads for them. So far I would highly recommend it. Its way more than just a cool looking MP3 player, but you probably knew that. I think I was the last teenager on earth that didn't have an iPod! ![]()
I also got some DVDs. I got Extract, surprise surprise. I can't say enough good things about this movie. WATCH IT! I finally got a copy of Hot Rod. People either seem to love or hate this movie. I'm one of the ones who absolutely love it. It's just so zany, and I can't think of another movie that is even remotely similar to it. The second Night at the Museum was another one of my presents. It's kind of a guilty pleasure. Historical humor FTW! I also received Chicago Sons on DVD. I love me some Jason Bateman.
My mom bought me a last minute Christmas present; that was really nice of her. She bought Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits. It should be good. Lindsey Buckingham FTW!
My sister had more of a gaming related Christmas. Her big gift this year was the DSi, and it's pretty sweet. She LOVES it! She's been completely glued to it. The camera features remind me of an improve Gameboy Camera, minus the bizarreness. She has been taking some pretty funny pictures too. She has such a great sense of humor. She is currently playing the first Professor Layton game and Spirit Tracks. I might play them too. I've heard they are excellent! Another fun gift she received was a Nintendo Toad plushy. UBER CUTE!
I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas!
What were some of your gifts? ![]()
Hello everybody!....hope the holiday preps are all done and the weather is appro in your area...looks like a white Christmas in my neck of the woods and that's a good thing (green can be depressing when you look out the window on the 25th if you're not used to it.
- Well, the latest season of Survivor just wrapped up and the winner was controversial to fans of the show. Russell should have won but I've been reflecting on it and I will say this. The show's winner is decided by a panel of nine previously voted out people. This may be a bit of a stretch but when an accused individual elects for a jury trial, his lawyer always suggests the defendant be humble before the jury. Russell was NOT humble by any stretch. Was he a master strategist? Absolutely. Was he the biggest reason the season was worth watching? Yep. Did he have a clue in the social side of the game? Nope. If you want people to support you, you have to try to get them on your side even if you loathe them. He never tried that with the majority of the jury and he lost in a landslide.
I did read where Russell set up a web site the day after losing titled, well, I can't give it here cuz it might get censored...![]()
- The latest season of Canada's Worst Driver just ended and the winner Angelina was, well, I'll list what was learned bout her during the season:
- She failed the written test for her driver's licence. The examiner took pity on her and gave her a 4 part multi choice question. Angelina got that wrong her first three guesses and the tester gave up and gave her the licence anyway.
- Angelina doesn't know how to put gas in her car. Every week, the father of her boyfriend comes by and picks up her car to fill it with gas.
- Angelina drives distracted constantly talking on her cell, applying make-up or hairspray and sipping on a drink.
- Angelina's car was revealed to have an expired registration and no working headlights. When the show host pointed it out and refused to let her drive it in a challenge, Angelina called her boyfriend, who was in Indonesia at the time, and asked him to fix it.
- During the season, Angelina failed or quit 22 out of 23 challenges and blamed them all on panic attacks that she has a prescription for but didn't/wouldn't take. She nearly rolled a Silver Shadow Rolls in one challenge, blew tires on two separate cars in consecutive challenges and (this is my fav) when one turn was scary, she closed her eyes and stomped on the gas as the car careened through the course in one challenge.
- The judges asked her to stop driving altogether but she refused categorically. Angelina lives in Sudbury. Ontario, I think, so if you ever are in that area and see a blonde, buxom "26" year old woman driving haphazardly, drive in the other direction...quickly.
- Guide wise here, working away on recaps...subs have settled down....for now. Quite a few shows added to the database here recently though I think the biggest prob here is the quasi MIA editors who won't update their guides on current airing shows. I really think the description for the BadEditor reporting system needs to be expanded to include these name only editors. They make us all look bad by their laziness....
Well, that's bout all....Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everybody here and here's hoping 2010 is a good year for everybody!
I miss my friend.
I will not go back to school because of the situation I'm in; I don't have money and I need to get other things done. My dog at the moment has a weird skin problem that I'm trying to get rid off with some medicated shampoo. I'm also doing some reseach on how to run my own business at home.
Lately, I watch Cartoon Network online and not soo much on TV. I've added Batman The Brave and The Bold; and Jonny Quest 1964/1965. Oh, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Every night on Boomerang, I'm watching the old Jonny Quest episodes and think they are better than the newer ones I've grown up watching call The Real Adventure of Jonny Quest. Who cares for Jessy, get her out of the cast, lol.
Hello one and all, it's been quite a while now since I've blogged about anything personal and since it's almost midnight where I am I decided that now is the perfect time to write a blog that practically nobody will read. ![]()
And for all of you out there saying "Alright, I'm here. Now where the hell is my free cake?" I'm afraid I must inform you that the cake is a lie. ![]()

You have to admit you kind of walked right into that one.
*Ducks as various objects are thrown at him*
Alright then, now that you're all here you might as well stick around for the rest, right?
*Everyone walks out of the room*
....Well I kind of walked right into that one too....
Anyway!
So I recently joined a scanlation group called Trinity BAKumA as a translator. So far we've only done Fairy Tail and Beelzebub but I think we're doing a good job considering that there's only three of us in the group. Now I don't know how many of you will find this fascinating, since a majority of people who read my blogs are in the Fairy Tail Union and already know about the group.
So school's just as enjoyable as ever...which isn't saying much.
I've got two midterms next week that I still haven't studied for, I have to read Hamlet and write a paper about it in about two weeks, and a bunch of other miscellaneous redundant tasks that a trained monkey could accomplish and yet for some reason college students are still required to do in order to pass a cl@ss
Doing these random task's for cl@ss credit almost makes me feel like Pavlov's dog.
This weekend I have to go to my sister's wedding, and for some reason that I still have yet to comprehend she wants me to be one of the groomsmen. I have to rent an uncomfortable tux which I will only wear for one day while I'm standing in front of a large group of people without doing much of anything (which, once again, a trained monkey could do).

After that I have to spend many hours with my sister and her friends as they go around to random bars getting drunk off their @sses.
Oh yeah, this weekend is goings to be great. ![]()
The one silver lining in the whole mess is that I convinced them to let me bring a friend along with me.
Well as much as I complain I am glad to see my sister get married to a decent guy and I hope they have a very happy life together somewhere that is very, very, far away from me. Though I do wonder sometimes why they decided to get married. ![]()

.....
And now for something completely different!
Next week I have my Fall break so I'll have two extra days off of school. My friends are going to be staying with me at my house and we're going to be spending the weekend doing whatever the hell we feel like which I'm really looking forward to.
Well I'm all our of witty banter and complaints....for now. So I suppose this marks the end of today's blog.
Good night everybody!
Hey, I have been a member of tv.com and tvtome since 2002 - that is 7 years and it is time for me to go. When I started using tvtome I was only ten years old and now I am 17 and have really grown out of this. Not, that it is a bad thing I just don't care anymore about editing tvshows or anything that goes along with it. It was a good ride and I have fond memories - only of the days at tvtome. Had this still been tvtome, maybe this would be a different blog post. Well, good luck to all your future tv.comers.
Jake out.
Hey peeps. I check this site like once every 3 or 4 months, lmao. If anyone is still out there who still wants to talk to me, Toad Patrol fans or otherwise, drop me a line at my new email:
ossyprey (at) gmail (dot) com
Replacing the (at) and (dot) obviously. My old email got blocked with spam so it's been desterted.
Take care and party on!
Sox have taken 2 out of 3 this weekend from the Chokers! My sign proves that I am once again right!
Well, I'm off to bed!
Took a few years.
Syaoran Li is awesome. That is all.
I'll be out of town until the 29th, so I won't be able to moderate anything until I get back.
Thanks.
Reply(-)Haha, something like that will definitely happen in the next episode.
Me-I bet it will too. I cracked up.
-very probably XD
-Lol at "Just melting stuff."
-Katara should be in the mafia
-It's funny how she is hiding behind that wall.
Me-Really!
---------------------------------------------------------------
I got suspended with a possible ban for seven days because of this post I made in The Western Air Temple discussion. The reason given also was "User Profile - Personal Information Moderator discretion, suspended Seven days." You see? All I did was type "Really!" and I got suspended for freaking SEVEN DAYS! And I was at 92% on Level 17 and I got bumped down to 48%!
If you get wrongfully suspended, there's no way to appeal it. You just get suspended and have to wait until it's over, even if you didn't do anything wrong. I figured the best thing to do was find a way to talk to the mod (which the only way I knew of was to make another account) and explain what I think happened, and maybe the violation I got would get looked over and corrected.
So I sent this to the mod that I figured made the mistake:
Subject: RE: Please forgive me, I don't mean to bandodge or anything but please read
"http://www.tv.com/moderation_queue/623663/moderate.html&mod_type=101&dw=1
I am user Atu_1, and that link says I got suspended for that post, and I was almost to level 18 and I got shot all the way back down again. I am suspended for 7 days. Your post in the Avatar board read:
"I think I got rid of all of them, but please don't quote it when someone posts something like that link that puts your browser in a loop. If you run into that again, you can warn people not to click it, but without quoting it.
Please report any other instances of it I might have missed. Thanks."
My post had a spoiler toggle in it, but it was only to post the comic in it and to save page space. I didn't post that link that makes your browser go in a loop. I think you or soeone else deleted my post and suspended me by mistake because I didn't do anything wrong. Thanks for your help."
I figured I explained what happened to me pretty well, and I also thought the mod would realize from common sense that the only reason I made another account was so I could talk to her (since yo can't do ANYTHING when you get suspended) and she could see that a mistake was made.
I got a nice hit of "reality check" when I recieved this so called "help" that I preemptively thanked her for.
"The staff will make a determination about banning your account as soon as possible. Creating additional accounts will most likely lead them to ban all accounts, though. If you would like to discuss the matter with the staff, please send an e-mail to support@tv.com. Please be aware that due to the holiday, it make take longer than normal to receive a response.
Best,
Ali"
Now, why in the world would she tell me to email that address (which I didn't know existed) then turn around and tell me that it will be a long time before I get a response because it's the holidays, when she, the mod that made the mistake (that I hoped she would correct), responded in less then TEN HOURS of when I sent the message?!! To this day I STILL have no response. I went ignored. The mod did not help at ALL.
What I believe happened to me was that I got caught up in the mess that resulted from a user disguising a link to a rick roll that makes your browser window go crazy as a spoiler. The mod saw the word spoiler and promptly deleted it with no actual attention to what she was deleting. She then assumed I participated in posting the trap links and suspended me for 7 days because I highly doubt it was because I typed "Really." I am VERY displeased. I was actually suspended for twelve hours longer than for seven days. I also lost lots of contribution points. Again. The first tie I went from 67% to 27%, but this time I went from 92% to 48%.
So, I'd like to know how I can complain against her because I know I got wrongfully suspended and because she did NOT bother to help AT ALL. I got wrongfully moderated because of the actions of another user.

I missed out on the Great Avatrick of '07, and I was sitting RIGHT at the computer looking at tv.com the night it happened. I then got sidetracked and started messing with my cellphone. I saw the aftermath of the prank the next day. I'm gonna say it. I like Riley Freeman for a reason, he keeps it real, like I'm gonna do; HOW IN THE HELL DID YA'LL THINK AVATAR AIRED IN FREAKING ZIMBABWE?!! Are you just that desperate for new episodes? I mean dang!
Thanks to 1337Bloodbender for asking the mods to free me. ![]()
"I shot a segment with Neha Tiwari for Tekzilla, a weekly online tech show that puts out an episode every Friday. I'll be on this Friday's show talking about things relating to video games. Learn more at http://www.revision3.com/tekzilla."
If you want to see Jeff tomorrow, go check it out! It's good to know Jeff is doing well despite all the craziness. Cheers Jeff!
[From my Feature forum post.]
Had to vote for Pac-Man CE. So many of the great games are "just" straight ports with achievements (SotN), or cleverly improved over their earlier showings on other platforms (AHHD; PQ:CotW) . That's awesome, but it doesn't push XBLA as a platform for growth and opportunity. Pac-Man CE is a truly worthy sequel, and takes the best ideas of competitive individual challenge and makes it an event. With the death of brick and mortar arcades in North America, I don't think P-MCE would've ever been successful or honestly even created without XBLA.

(Also, Billy Mitchell got owned.
