I stopped making points on forums long ago after reading with my own eyes that forums aren't for intellectual debate or even conversations in which people's opinions have foundations of factual substance. If you want normal intelligent conversation where people actually do know what they are talking about, then stick to blog posting. that's as good is it will get on Gamespot. Unfortunately for the good and honest people on the internet (like you and I for example), most people on the internet and on online communities are complete jerks. They forget that they are interacting with real people with real feelings. it might sound deep and a bit on the mushy emotional side, but it's true. look at X BOX Live and PC games online. back when online gaming started people were competetive, yet convivial. I know because I started playing games online back in 1993. now, people are competetive, while being rude, crude, edgy, obnoxious, depraved, and just downright nasty. online communities are really no different from this...
