Z-Ro

Houston,Texas is definately making a name for itself with artists such as Bun B, Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, Z-Ro, etc. On this album, I find that Z-Ro is creating a spot for himself among the best. I honestly do not believe that he is given the credit he deserves lyrically wise. He has the ability to "spit" real talk and deliver it in a creative manner. I am not going to say that this album has overall classic or platinum potential simply because he does not know how to incorporate a banging beat behind his powerful voice. He seems to be trapped in the early 90's beat wise, but there is nothing wrong with that if that is your style. It's a real breath of fresh air. I think that if he collaborated with a hot producer, he would shut some of these hot artists down. My favorite track on this album is 1 Night. I can't even put into words how much I enjoyed that song.  The fact that this album talks about his struggles, I wouldn't be surprised if this album only appealed to young men who have been in prison and live in the suburbs. All I can say is this is one of my favorite Cd's of all time But in order for you to truley appericate this Cd you gotta pick it up or download it or what ever you got to do to get this cd. Here are my top 5 tracks but dont get me wrong this whole cd is worth listing to.
