Although Armor For Sleep's music is unbelivably enjoyable, the lyrical content is entirely way too emotionally driven to be taken seriously. I am not sure if Armor For Sleep is trying to capitalize on the teenage angst, or even worse, the Emo culture, but when you hear lyrics such as 'it rains in heaven all day long' 'i would still die for you' -- it makes you wonder if the band knew what their target audience was, and if so, they are doing a great job capitalizing on young emotional teenagers.

Dj Aligator gives us a lesson in what is known as 'club cheese' and in result, takes Dance music a step back. Although DJ Aligator produces hi-energy club hits, this artist falls under the category of 'guilty pleasures' mainly because this style of music is not taken all too seriously. If you are looking for a good dance album, consider The Chemical Brothers.

This moody, trippy and ambient music is an excellent collection from one of the world's greatest electronic producers. He has been described as "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music" by many others in the past and he continues to break grounds in various electronic styles.

Moby shows himself as one of the better universal producers who reinvents his sound on each album. Anyone who has followed his career can attest to this statement. Moby is a well fit producer who is a master of his craft. Carefully crafting electronic music with hip hop and rock is what made this great artist stay in spotlight for so many years.
He has proven to be not only a talented producer, but also a very talented song writer, no matter what genre he might tackle. Although I prefer his older works, I am a big fan of all his most recent work, especially the fantastic album '18'.

I found about Mental Escape through my girlfriend who introduced me to an 'edgier' side of electronic music so to say. I grew fond of Crystal Method and other 'big beat' artists so its not surprise she introduced me to Mental Escape whom, from what I gathered via the net, is a European producer who lives concurently in States as well as Europe?
Anywho, it seems like this artist is on the rise. (The blog states he was tapped to score an upcoming indie film called Duality.) The only missing element is vocals, but the instrumentals truly do stand out on their own as it is, so it makes you wonder if the vocals are even needed. It worked for many other artists in the past, thats for sure.
