Bond, James Bond and other stuff
I've been buying a lot of 007 movies, either at pawn shops or at Wal-Mart, the most each cost me is $5.
So that makes a total of 10 movies
DR. No
Goldfinger
Thunderball
The Spy Who Loved Me
Damn Gamespot Text Censoring
The Living Daylights
Licence to Kill
Goldeneye
The World is Not Enough
Die Another Day
Most of them I had never seen the entire movie or in the last two's case I have never seen at all. I loved all three of the Sean Connery ones, of course, Dr No, Goldfinger, and Thunderball. Not sure what would be my favorite, four more left to get with him. I liked both of the Roger Moore movies, with The Spy Who Loved Me being my favorite one that he was in out of the seven, even my favorite opening song if I remember right. Pierce Bronsan is probably my least favorite Bond (I never did see the George Lazenby movie, which I've heard is great....except for him). I kind of like Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough, I forgot if I liked Tomorrow Never Dies, and I hated Die Another Day. With the exception of Vew to Kill I would say Die Another Day is my least favorite movie, theme song by Madonna, I don't like Halle Berry, too much focus on Halle Berry (like Natalya in Goldeneye, also hated her), and is makes horrible use of CGI. I don't know about Connery, but are all the Bonds last movies always their worst?
I already own Casino Royal, which means that I own half of the movies. I just need
From Russia With Love
You Only Live Twice
On Her Majestys Secret Service
Diamonds Are Forever
Live and Let Die
The Man With the Golden Gun
Moonraker
For Your Eyes Only
A View to Kill
Tomorrow Never Dies
Quantum of Solace
I know you think he is a man ***** but I still love 007 movies Jessica.
Other Movies
Wal-Mart is selling every season of Futurama and the movies for around $12 each so I ended up picking up Season 3 and 4. I love Bender, why did he have to go play a lousy character like Marcus Fenix after being Bender? Why couldn't Bender have just been in Gears of War, that would have been awesome.
Reviews
I found this when the review came up, and NeonNinja later sent me a PM
"Do you like cars? If so, Forza Motorsport 3 is the game for you. In fact, provided you don't hate cars, Forza Motorsport 3 is the game for you."
In my last blog I said I hated cars, and I do, a few days later I see that opening for Gamespot's Forza 3 review. Even with my hatred of cars (and usually driving and sports games) I did enjoy the first Forza.
My Review
Douglas is working on his site and it sounds like he is busy so I still don't have my review that a mentioned over a month ago up yet, it should be coming though
Game Bought

Borderlands
Been playing this. I wanted to play as a Hunter but Jessica was already one so I switched to a Siren, so right now I have a level 9 Hunter and a level 21 Siren. My other friend I have played with is a Soldier c1ass I really like the game so far. A lot of guns. The only thing I don't like so far is all the creatures you fight, there needs to be some more people, or more creature variety.
I was going to buy a copy for Jessica for her Birthday and one for me so we could play together but her Brother bought it when it came out. I'll have to think of something else to get her now.
Lord of the Rings Online
Level 40 Hunter, yay
10 Facts About Me, also Game Nights
Tagged by Jessica
Here are 10 facts about me
1: After kindergarten, why do they have that, I was home schooled with my sister, which I enjoyed because I never liked being around other kids. I don't remember what it was through when I was younger but we switched to something else later on, and when I was in seventh grade through high school I had to go to c1asses 1-2 days out of the week.
2: I never had many friends, I had one when I was younger then two through high school. The few I would call friends I would usually want to be around constantly, some people said that I was like a puppy following its owner around. I think Jessica knows this, she says I call and text her too much, grumpy muffin.
I really didn't care much for other people around me, I am usually always nice and help people whenever I can but if I was told that someone I knew was moving, I was not going to see them for awhile, in one case was dead, and in another committed suicide I was about as detached as if I was just told something about a complete stranger. When my sister was told we were moving from California to Texas she was always crying or upset with my parents, with the exception of being further away from Jessica, I didn't mind at all. Even though I was leaving the job I had had for over three years and all the people I knew there.
3: My name on Gamespot was because one of my friends was a big Lord of the Ring fan and was using Aragorn, he wanted me to be Legolas when we got Xbox Live. I also loved Lord of the Rings and always preferred elves to other races, and weapons like bows or sniper rifles so I had no problem with the name. The other half of my Gamespot name was from Kyle Katarn, the main character from the Jedi Knight series, I was playing Jedi Outcast at the time on the PC and really loved the game, also Legolas was taken on this site. I was still a few months away from the time that I got Live so I added Katarn instead of 43.
4: I love co-op games, I think that started when I was around 4-5 and I always had my friend and another kid coming over to my house to play Mario and Mario 3, and later TMNT Turtles in Time. The one kid came over just about every day for months.
5: I HATE cars and bikes, etc. I have always hated them. I don't like hearing people talk about them, I can't stand watching car chases in movies, I don't even like watching people fighting on cars like in the second Matrix movie or a scene like the one from Live Free or Die Hard, no matter what happens, if there is a vehicle involved, I am bored. I hate driving and couldn't care less about what I am driving, I just want it to run. I also hate robots, so guess how much I like the Transformers.
6: When I was really young I would always watch the Power Rangers and TMNT, when I was around seven I started watching pretty much all science fiction series. As the years went on my favorite shows would include Babylon 5 (love G'Kar), Stargater SG1, Farscape, and Firefly. I also enjoyed watching the old Star Trek. Oddly I never liked Science fiction, I always loved Fantasy. I really dislike space ships, futuristic weapons, and computers, still all my favorite shows rely on those things heavily. Why couldn't there have been a great Dungeons and Dragons series?!
7: In movies (and any RPG game) I almost always prefer talking to action. What they say doesn't even have to important to the plot. I like hearing just random conversations that tells you more about the characters. For example the beginning of Reservoir Dogs when they talk about tipping the waitress. It's probably why Babylon 5 is my favorite show, because it has great random dialogue. I remember in the first series when they are trying to pass the time so they start talking about if they fasten then zip up their pants or if they zip then fasten. Or in the last season when one of the main characters was explaining why he always washes his own socks (he was the commander of the station, then the president, he didn't need to do his own laundry).
8: I seem to hurt myself a lot. I always run into things, hit my head on things, hit my toes on things, or cut myself. I never mind when I do so I make no effort to avoid doing it later. While working at the paintball field I never minded being hit by paintballs. Most people would act hurt or start complaining after being shot once or twice, I was always able to ignore it I never got mad at people for shooting me accidentally, if I was talking to someone and started getting shot I would just keep talking to the person, usually to their amazement....pansies. The worst I was shot was when I was playing a game where you go until you give up, when I got home I was able to count about 80 hits from looking at my body, I only left because I was out of ammo.
9: I usually lose interest in things quickly (in about 1-3 months), Gamespot and video games have been two of the few exceptions. 1-3 months is about the time it takes for me to leave websites or to stop doing things I once thought that I enjoyed. Bringing up my last job again I got it because I enjoyed playing Paintball at the time, a month or two after getting it and I never wanted to play again, it was boring to me. I never did get any adrenaline from it like most people seem to, I was always calm and relaxed (though tired from my horrible stamina), I was never really getting into the game or getting mad at other people like most others were. That is probably why I always hated sports. As boring as watching people play paintball is to me, I will admit that it is more exciting than stocking grocery shelfs at Wal-Mart. If only because I am able to walk around the field.
10: Everything that can go wrong will. I pretty much find that to be true in just about everything I do. I buy a computer, I need a video card, ok. No, I need a power supply, ok that was a bad power supply, take it back, order another. Get that, sent me the wrong one. Computer won't instal games...**** you computer, do some stuff I find online it works...when it feels like it. Old monitor stops working, have to switch to new one. Internet doesn't want to work, need a new wireless reciever.
Live in California for 18 years, get a girlfriend, time to move to Texas.
Get a job at a paintball field, start to hate paintball and to get ******** coming to the field. Get a job at Wal-Mart, we all get our hours cut after being told that we almost always work a little overtime since everyone else has been there. The day time manager that everyone at night hates to switch to nights after the other guy is fired for sleeping in his car every day. All of us are now forced to take an hour lunch after, so I'm there for an extra half hour.
Maybe I just have horrible timing

More money on the PC, new games, movies, Bungie, gift card, and a review
PC
I bought an Nvidia GeForce 9800 GX Graphics card at Best Buy for $140. That worked fine for a week and then my games started freezing, I forgot that with a Dell computer I would need a new Power Supply. I found a store yesterday and bought one for $100, hooked it up, and it isn't working. I'm going to take it and my computer back to where I bought it in a few hours to see if something is wrong with it or if it was not hooked up correctly.
I also bought a headset for my PC for $18. It's not USB but it seems to work fine. When I have it plugged in some sites play the voice through speakers, some through the headset, some games play the sound through the speakers and voice through the headset (LOTR Online), some play both through the headset (Warhammer)
Games Bought

Lord of the Rings Online Mines of Moria Collectors Edition: $27
One of my friends has been wanting me to play this and now I can, the special edition has the first game as well as the expansion. I have been playing the trial for about eight days, game was freezing for the last two and enjoyed the game. I'm an Elf Hunter and I think I am level 25. I'm still waiting for the game to arrive so I can continue playing.Playing this should keep me busy until the KOTOR MMO comes out, I've been trying to sign up for beta but it won't work.

Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2: $40
I had been wanting this and The Witcher for the PC, both were being sold for the same price so I picked this one up so I could make sure my PC and headset were working right online. I'm enjoyng the single player, I have not tried online though, LOTR is keeping me busy. And it has achievements for my Live profile

Halo: ODST: $60
I get to kill things as Nathan Fillion, that is cool. He says, "Bam says the lady" while killing things is even better.
The story for the game isn't that great, a lot of the dialouge is overacted or just stupid (one forum poster put it something like this, "If my teacher walked into the room with a pop quiz and said, "You know the music, time to dance", I'd shoot myself in the face),and the new health system (especially making the screen turn red) is very annoying. Moving around the city as the rookie gets kind of boring and this game, like the last two, has continued the trend of making allied marines dumber and dumber with each passing entry. The thing I loved about the first Halo was working with large groups of other Marines, being able to easily keep them alive on easy and normal, and usually finishing a level with about half on heroic (they would all die on Legendary right away, but then again, so would I). I loved fighting with them, the things they said, and making sure as many survived as I could. Halo 2 had very boring allies and they were not as good as the last game, also I think you usually only had two with you, you could keep them alive by giving them better weapons though. Halo 3 had boring useless idiots that would all get slaughtered. In ODST (at least on Heroic up) they might die so fast you won't even know they are there, unless you are with another ODST squad memeber that is not able to die. While fighting with another ODST you really can see just how stupid the AI has gotten, they will often just run forward ignoring all enemies and getting shot in the back. Also, damn is the woman with you ugly, Nathan deserves better. For whatever reason Bungie decided to have a system that resets the entire game if you are to go back and replay a completed level, if you do that and try to go back to your last game you will find that, while you still have the same guns and audio logs, you will need to get to every becon and replay every level to get back to where you were.
Firefight mode is fun but, like Halo 2 on, continues the other Bungie trend of taking things that are great and doing stupid **** to them. When I first heard about the skulls I thought it was a good idea, I assumed that one skull would be randomly turned on at each wave and that you would have the option to turn them off if you wanted. Nope, instead the skulls are turned on in the same order every time and you can not shut them off. Why the **** is the skull that makes enemies throw tons of grenades at you on at the second round every time?! Then when I get to the third round and I think it will turn off, nope, they leave it on and turn on two more, one of those being the melee an enemy for health skull. It is very annoying having to melee for health when all three types of covenent grenades can stick to you and instantly kill you, and because of the stupid health system your vision is always red, even if you can't even tell that any of the life from your bar is missing. It is also a shame that, like the ability to make custom games, you can only play with friends. No one can start a room and have people join them. Having only friends join and matchmaking sucks Bungie, remember the good old days of finding hosts and servers that you liked to play fun custom games (not whatever swat/rockets only bull you idiots can come up with).
I still hate Halo 3s multiplayer but getting all the maps on a disk allows me to delete all the extra maps from my 20GB harddrive, giving me some much needed space, and having the last map mack allowed me to get all1750 achievements in Halo 3.
I really don't understand Bungie since the first Halo. It's like everything they do that they do really well, then it isalmost likethey hire a few people whos job itis just to **** things up to put on the finishing touches.
Movies
I found a store that sells old games, new games, and movies right next to the place where I bought my new power supply. I got

Red vs Blue Season 5: $9
Red vs Blue Season 4: $9
Good deals for both, boxes and disks in great condition. They usually seem to sell used online for at least $15. They also had seasons 1, 2, and 3, I already own 3, I would have bought one and two if not for having to buy the damn power supply.
Gift Card
I got another $25 Gamestop gift card from the website utalkback.com. That's my second one, only about three months after the last.
Review
A little over a week ago DoulasBuffone asked me to write a review for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for his site, Entertainium. He told me the review should be put up after Saturday sometime, so I will post a blog when it is up. Doug recently posted a blog looking for more writers for his site, check outhis blog for details.
Edit
I love when people randomly start arguments with me
Got my power supply working. Plugged something into the wrong...thing.

I rented Wet for the 360 with my free rental this month.
New PC, New Game, New Emblem, and Two Completed Games
My birthday was on the 9th and my Dad said he would help me pay for a computer. I ended up getting one a few days ago. I got a Dell from Sam's Club, which we had joined the day before, for $700, my Dad paid for $200 and the $56 tax. It has
Windows Vista
Intel Pentium 2.7 GHz Dual Core Processor E5400
6 GB Ram
500 GB Harddrive
DVDRW Drive
Lousy graphics card that I should be upgrading in a few days, I'm thinking about an Nvidia GeForce GTX 250, looks like it is about $130, maybe something better but I don't know about overheating
23 Widescreen Flat Monitor (shame I had to get it, I already have one, but I guess that was my Dad's and he can use it now)
Speakers (really needed new ones), Mouse, Keyboard
Some games I'm hoping it will be able to run well
Dragons Age Origins (rather have it on PC than console but if it won't work well on the PC I can always get the 360 version)
Operation Flashpoint 2
Knights of the Old Republic MMO
Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2
My friend also wants me to get the Lord of the Rings Online, which I will at least download the trial for. Something to play until KotOR.
Emblem

For submitting a complete bracket for the heroes match, very nice.
Game

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Bought this game on the 15th and got my preorder code to download Juggernaut the same day. It improved on the first in most ways. Powers having added bonuses when improved enough is great, passive powers, unique written dialouge depending on your character, graphics, fusions, look of powers, especially projectile ones.
They also made some mistakes. Having mostly the same passive powers, some character being unlocked very late, characters with weapons (Gambit's staff, Deadpools swords, Daredevil's baton, etc) now use them for their main attacks, only able to import save data if you put the game on the harddest mode (meaning if you don't play the harddest mode you will almost never be able to use some of the characters), limitingfour of the passive powers to pro or anti (most characters get two, then two more if they are on anti, or two more if they are on Pro, DLC characters have them all available the others likely will with import save data, the problem with that is that I went anti, when I was able to use Songbird, Iron Man, and Mr Fantastic again they were missing four of their six powers because they are locked on Pro and I would have needed to choose Pro to get those powers. The same could be said for Anti with Captain America, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
I'm on or near the last mission in the game and have enjoyed using all of the characters I have played as, except for The Thing and Hulk, I have not tried Songbird, Venom, or Goblin yet and I don't have the last Secret Character. For most of the game I have been using Gambit, who has a great selection of powers, fights with his staff, and has the only unique passive power I have seen in the game so far(the ability to charge anything he picks up with energy making it explode and do more damage when it hits), Deadpool, fights with swords, love his duel shot ability, funny dialoge, regenerates health so he always lives the longest. The other two characters I have been swapping out but I usually use Iron Fist who has some cool looking and fast attack and can heal the party and Jean who I don't like that much but can do all three types of fusions with the other characters. I've also really liked playing as Storm and Captain America. Because I was anti I haven't really had a chance to use Iron Man, Mr Fantastic, or Songbird. I have just unlocked Venom and Goblin and don't have the secret character.
Completed
Penny Arcade Episode 2 200/200
Brothers in Arms HH 1000/1000
Bought a lot of movies, three XBLA games, and one rental
I bought three movies at Wal-Mart
A double feature that has Navy Seals (never saw it but I am watching it now, it's pretty stupid so far) and Red Dawn (wanted it) for $5. I also bought a four pack of movies with The Curse of King Tuts Tomb, Blackbeard, The Poseidon Adventure, and Merlin's Apprentice for $5, I never saw any of them but I liked the first Merlin, though I doubt this will be anywhere near as good. Yesterday I bought the new Bleach movie that had just come out that day for $20, I wanted season 3 but they have been out and don't know when they will get more.
One of the pawn shops I go to sells movies for 3 for $10 but they also have had a 10 for $20deal for awhile so I bought
Rocky: I never saw it
Hot Shots 1 and 2 (Double Feature): Really like them both, I hadn't watched the first one in awhile but I just watched it last night, I like it more than the second. I already owned the second one by itself so I am going to send it to Jessica.
Good Will Hunting: Never saw it except for a few clips online
The Fountain: Never saw it but remember trailers
The Pianist: Never saw it but I saw it won some academy awards so I thought it should be pretty good
Rescue Dawn: I usually like Christian Bale so I got it, from its rotten tomatoes rating it likes I made a very good choice
A Few Good Men and Jerry Maguire (Double Feature): Never saw either
Dogma: Really like it
The Replacement Killers: Never saw it
Valentine: Crappy horror movie most likely
There were movies I would have gotten instead of The Fountain and Valentine but all were pretty scratched up, the ones I got are all in good condition. After leaving I realized I should have just bought the third season of Red vs Blue instead of Valentime, it is the only season that I already own but I guess I could have sold it for around $10 online.
XBLA Games Bought
Marvel vs Capcom 2
I haven't played it that much yet but I like what I have played, horrible soundtrack.
The Secret of Monkey Island SE
As great as I remember, the first adventure game I ever played.
Penny Arcade Episode 2
I don't have the first but this was on sale so I got it. I have only made a character so far.

Prototype
For a game where your guy can steal weapons, helicopters, tanks, can shapeshift his body into different weapons, and can consume and become other people this game sure is BORING! There are only two types of battles I found myself in in this game, ones where I was going to kill everyone with no effort and ones where I was going to die over and over and over again until I get lucky. The combat is boring, it never feels fair when you die because all military starts shooting homing missles and all fights with infected/boss battles are stupid and boring. Thereis nothing interesting abut the city and the only thing that changes over time is there are more infected people, military basses, and infected base buildings. None of your powers or combat moves are fun to use, not only because it just isn't fun killing things but because they are just so boring. The story isn't interesting and although consuming people to get information is an interesting way to tell parts of the story it makes for a boring added gameplay element, and most of what you learn is useless. Even if I were to consume all targets I don't want to rewatch every single scene in its poor interface to make sense of some of it. The main story is nothing interesting and some parts of it, like what happens to your sister, are never even told.
