10 Facts About Me, also Game Nights

Here are 10 facts about me
1: After kindergarten, why do they have that, I was home schooled with my sister, which I enjoyed because I never liked being around other kids. I don't remember what it was through when I was younger but we switched to something else later on, and when I was in seventh grade through high school I had to go to c1asses 1-2 days out of the week.
2: I never had many friends, I had one when I was younger then two through high school. The few I would call friends I would usually want to be around constantly, some people said that I was like a puppy following its owner around. I think Jessica knows this, she says I call and text her too much, grumpy muffin.
I really didn't care much for other people around me, I am usually always nice and help people whenever I can but if I was told that someone I knew was moving, I was not going to see them for awhile, in one case was dead, and in another committed suicide I was about as detached as if I was just told something about a complete stranger. When my sister was told we were moving from California to Texas she was always crying or upset with my parents, with the exception of being further away from Jessica, I didn't mind at all. Even though I was leaving the job I had had for over three years and all the people I knew there.
3: My name on Gamespot was because one of my friends was a big Lord of the Ring fan and was using Aragorn, he wanted me to be Legolas when we got Xbox Live. I also loved Lord of the Rings and always preferred elves to other races, and weapons like bows or sniper rifles so I had no problem with the name. The other half of my Gamespot name was from Kyle Katarn, the main character from the Jedi Knight series, I was playing Jedi Outcast at the time on the PC and really loved the game, also Legolas was taken on this site. I was still a few months away from the time that I got Live so I added Katarn instead of 43.
4: I love co-op games, I think that started when I was around 4-5 and I always had my friend and another kid coming over to my house to play Mario and Mario 3, and later TMNT Turtles in Time. The one kid came over just about every day for months.
5: I HATE cars and bikes, etc. I have always hated them. I don't like hearing people talk about them, I can't stand watching car chases in movies, I don't even like watching people fighting on cars like in the second Matrix movie or a scene like the one from Live Free or Die Hard, no matter what happens, if there is a vehicle involved, I am bored. I hate driving and couldn't care less about what I am driving, I just want it to run. I also hate robots, so guess how much I like the Transformers.
6: When I was really young I would always watch the Power Rangers and TMNT, when I was around seven I started watching pretty much all science fiction series. As the years went on my favorite shows would include Babylon 5 (love G'Kar), Stargater SG1, Farscape, and Firefly. I also enjoyed watching the old Star Trek. Oddly I never liked Science fiction, I always loved Fantasy. I really dislike space ships, futuristic weapons, and computers, still all my favorite shows rely on those things heavily. Why couldn't there have been a great Dungeons and Dragons series?!
7: In movies (and any RPG game) I almost always prefer talking to action. What they say doesn't even have to important to the plot. I like hearing just random conversations that tells you more about the characters. For example the beginning of Reservoir Dogs when they talk about tipping the waitress. It's probably why Babylon 5 is my favorite show, because it has great random dialogue. I remember in the first series when they are trying to pass the time so they start talking about if they fasten then zip up their pants or if they zip then fasten. Or in the last season when one of the main characters was explaining why he always washes his own socks (he was the commander of the station, then the president, he didn't need to do his own laundry).
8: I seem to hurt myself a lot. I always run into things, hit my head on things, hit my toes on things, or cut myself. I never mind when I do so I make no effort to avoid doing it later. While working at the paintball field I never minded being hit by paintballs. Most people would act hurt or start complaining after being shot once or twice, I was always able to ignore it I never got mad at people for shooting me accidentally, if I was talking to someone and started getting shot I would just keep talking to the person, usually to their amazement....pansies. The worst I was shot was when I was playing a game where you go until you give up, when I got home I was able to count about 80 hits from looking at my body, I only left because I was out of ammo.
9: I usually lose interest in things quickly (in about 1-3 months), Gamespot and video games have been two of the few exceptions. 1-3 months is about the time it takes for me to leave websites or to stop doing things I once thought that I enjoyed. Bringing up my last job again I got it because I enjoyed playing Paintball at the time, a month or two after getting it and I never wanted to play again, it was boring to me. I never did get any adrenaline from it like most people seem to, I was always calm and relaxed (though tired from my horrible stamina), I was never really getting into the game or getting mad at other people like most others were. That is probably why I always hated sports. As boring as watching people play paintball is to me, I will admit that it is more exciting than stocking grocery shelfs at Wal-Mart. If only because I am able to walk around the field.
10: Everything that can go wrong will. I pretty much find that to be true in just about everything I do. I buy a computer, I need a video card, ok. No, I need a power supply, ok that was a bad power supply, take it back, order another. Get that, sent me the wrong one. Computer won't instal games...**** you computer, do some stuff I find online it works...when it feels like it. Old monitor stops working, have to switch to new one. Internet doesn't want to work, need a new wireless reciever.
Live in California for 18 years, get a girlfriend, time to move to Texas.
Get a job at a paintball field, start to hate paintball and to get ******** coming to the field. Get a job at Wal-Mart, we all get our hours cut after being told that we almost always work a little overtime since everyone else has been there. The day time manager that everyone at night hates to switch to nights after the other guy is fired for sleeping in his car every day. All of us are now forced to take an hour lunch after, so I'm there for an extra half hour.
Maybe I just have horrible timing

I also enjoy talking over action. Good action is nice to break up all of the characterization in videogames, but talking is great, especially in Reservoir Dogs!
I'm not too big on cars myself, but not to the extent that you hate them. I don't talk about them and I get bored around others, but I don't hate them.
I hate bikes though. It might have something to do that I got a good share of injuries while learning to ride a bicycle. That must have instilled some kind of phobia into me,which eventually turned into kind of dislike.
I liked robots when I was like 7 or 8. Now I am only mildly interested in the technology being used in making robots.
I dislike sci-fi. Mostly because I feel most of them revolve too much around the technology in "the future" and little on the characters concerned in the plot. There are notable exceptions to this though.
I love random dialogues as well! It's perhaps the reason why I love Tarantino movies so much!
