Ask Me A Question + Week Recap
Crazy Game Deals
Good ol Cheapassgamer.com pulls out another win by informing me of some crazy good deals this week. Gamefly is selling some games really cheap. All games are polished/cleaned and guaranteed to work with original box and manuals.

^ I ordered for $20 with free shipping
Other Notables:
- Mass Effect
- Burnout Paradise
- Assassin's Creed
I was thinking about also getting Assassin's Creed as its even cheaper at $17.99 but I've already beaten it when my friend let me borrow it. One game should be fine at the moment.
Week Recap + Brawl Stuff
So I saw The Incredible Hulk the other day and I gotta say its pretty good. I think Iron Man edges it out a bit but it was still an excellent action film. Marvel Studios has been on a roll lately. Too bad Spiderman 3 didn't live up to the hype but they've been recovering from that nicely. I can't wait to see The Dark Knight as Batman is probably my favorite hero in the DC universe.
I've been out a lot this week seeing as how I had my finals finished up on Monday and I won't be attending summer school because I hate taking classes in such a condensed time frame. True that taking summer classes will help you finish school faster but I'd rather keep my sanity thank you very much. I figure instead I'd go out looking for a job until the proper fall semester begins. Also my buddy is on leave from the military and is back in town so we've been hanging out with all my friends and catching up. We're probably all going to Six Flags on Tuesday which sounds fun.
Game wise I'm still playing World of Warcraft as usual grinding out honor for the new arena season in 2 weeks and getting my priest to level 70. I beat Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and No More Heroes. I also picked up Odin Sphere for $20 but I haven't gone into that much but I plan to later.
In Smash news I've noticed people starting groups for "Elite" players. While that's fine and all, I think you guys will soon realize this will create unintentional conflict and drama down the road. Not to mention the hassle with keeping a group/website/events together is probably more trouble then its worth. Main thing is not to take it so seriously.
Random note: People who create insulting taunts are douchebags. You're supposed to playing with friends and not trying to piss people off. I practically never taunt and don't use text in my taunts. If I do, I usually use some random phrases or characters just to lighten the mood. People who consistently edge hog are also pretty lame. I don't edge hog by default but I will if my opponent does and continues to do so. If he doesn't, I won't either, that simple. It's kinda like an unwritten rule of honor among Smash players. It's more fun to let your opponent get back up and continue the fight anyways.
Update on Friend Codes
For most of the people commenting on my blogs (bless your souls
) I have been adding your Friend Codes to Brawl and I just put up my MarioKart Wii FC too though I don't play that online much. So if any of you leave your FC for that too I'll make sure to add it as well. Even if I don't respond to you guys with a PM I probably still have your FC's registered so make sure you guys add me too.
All my info is in my blog header.
Random Brawl Stuff
My Mains (in no particular order):
- Link
- Samus
- Capt. Falcon
- Marth
- Zelda
- Snake
Characters I hate fighting against:
- Peach
- Olimar
- Fox, Falco, Wolf
- Pit
- Lucario
- MetaKnight
I also see a lot of people online who don't utilize their character's moves effectively. When I see people play as Link they rarely use his boomerang and bombs in creative ways. Same with Samus and her bombs. They don't do much damage but that's not the point. Capt. Falcon can be pretty tricky if you use his reverse falcon punch and know how to control it especially in the air. The whole point is to throw people off balance and keep them guessing and not to be predictable.
