Lonelynight

Just got back from my Grade 6 ABRSM piano exam.

I think I did well, not sure if I will be able to get a merit though. The sight reading and aural was not as hard as I thought it would be, but I still didn't think it was easy.

And I really liked the piano they used for the exam, it feels great and wish I can have one like that in the future.

The examiner was quite nice too.

Good job. When I did HSC I was playing the equivalent of 8th grade AMEB. Not sure on the ABRSM standards. But congrats, I'm sure you've done well

I too hope you get a merit. I hated piano exams, lol...but I love playing the piano...sadly I haven't touched one in a couple years.

@3DayFinisher : I never heard of the AMEB, so I can't compare either. And are you still playing?
@Wren28 : I dislike exams as well, unless I'm extremely confident that I will able to get a very high mark
@bangell99 : Thanks, and you can try to learn the piano in the future, never too late to learn!

Not formally, I somewhat retired from piano after I finished school.

I'm dabbling in the complete works of Billy Joel every few days though.
