Vlog or Die III (video)

P.S. This layout is pretty atrocious. I preferred the narrow layout that actually ran decently and displayed a fair amount of user blogs.

A Phenomenon?
So I've been FIGHTING to lose body-fat with my training and all, to lose weight and get in shape, all of that. The past week I have done absolutely nothing however, just indulging a bit. Drinking soda, beer, hanging out with friends, partying constantly. But I lose almost 6 lbs. in about 6 days. I thought I would feel bad after jumping on that scale, but it made me feel really good afterwards. Can anyone explain to me, this phenomenon?
Diablo III
Just pooped my pants. Diablo III. It's about time.
Killed it.
Beat MGS4. Game is amazing. Has that sort of you think it's ending, OH WAIT NO IT'S NOT! vibe, but I guess all Metal Gear's have to an extent. This one very much so though. Pretty much everything has been resolved, Just when you THINK they're done throwing out the nostalgic references to past Metal Gear games, you're blown away again. Total fan service. I called the last cut-scene in the game, before I even played the game. Not going to spoil anything though. Raiden is totally awesome and should gain everyone's respect. Many more ravings to be had, but I'll leave it at that.

Kalmah is quite possibly the greatest group of people to come out of Finland. They shred with extreme attitude, use a wide array of vocal screeches, have the deepest gut-busting rythm section, and their melodies are straight out of folk tunes. Not literally, but it sure seems like it. If you can only choose one band to listen to for your entire life, Kalmah should be the choice. The blend Melodic, Death, Thrash, Doom, Speed, and Folk metal into a style all it's own. Which can only be summed up to one conclusion: Pure Swamp Metal.

Children of Bodom are truly a legendary thing to behold. They signify the return to Heavy Metal. They may be called Death Metal, or Black metal, but I just call them Metal... Because they're really not like much else out there. The person that says the musicians are great, but the singer is crap... Well the ultra-shreading lead guitarist IS the singer, so go do yourself a favor and never listen to Metal AGAIN. And yes, the entire band is super talented, and it may be swedish-esk metal, due to the keyboards, but I just couldn't see them without them... And ironically more and more bands keep imerging with keyboardists now days... Hmmm. Case and point, Bodom is revolutionary. If you enjoy these fellas, also check out the likes of Norther.. Heavy Metal lives on!
