Back To Gamespot!
I've been off exploring the Delta Quadrant (or thereabouts) for some time, but now I'm back.
Greetings to all.
Graduation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I'm now officially Laura Daniel, Bachelor of Art With Honours. Damn, it feels pretty good. Graduation was on the 15th of July, but everything has been pretty manic here, what with everyone in my house, in all the houses and roads around our house, for that matter, preparing to go back home for a while, start looking for jobs, so this is the first real chance I've had to update my journal. I live in the student central part of Exeter, where most of the students live, and its all go here at the moment.
We spent the whole day on campus, had a great Congression, the presentation of graduation certificates, everyone looked great in their mortar and gowns with a blue trim, the university colours. My parents, grandma, and nana and grandad were there, as well as many of my friends who graduated on the same day. Many photos were taken, much food and alcohol was consumed, a good time was had by all! Wow, what a day. It was a brilliant end to a brilliant three years of my life. I can't really put into words how I feel about what happened, it was so satisfying. You feel proud, not just of yourself but of all your friends as well. Knowing your family is there makes it even better. Like I said, I can't really put it into words, so I won't try. Enough to say it was one of the best days ever.

Graduation Tomorrow!!!!!
I graduated from the University of Exeter tommorrow. I am extremely excited! Just went to collect my mortar and gown for tomorrow's cermony and party and BBQ afterwards. Everyone up there spent about half an hour trying to find the right mortar hat size! The ceremony starts at 10.30am on the 15th. Got a lot of relatives coming, plus most of my university mates graduate tomorrow, apart from those who had ceremonies earlier in the Graduation Week, and other fellow students who are graduating. It's going to be a blast!
The hour passed, we still stand strong.
Terrorism and suicide bombs fail to terrorise us. We stand strong. My thoughts and deepest felt condolences are with the friends and family of those killed in the atrocities. The death toll rises every day, and I hope it comes to an end soon.

Rule Britannia.
Britain Stands Strong. We shall not be terrorised. We shall prevail.
Great Britain has been attacked in a series of terrible atrocities. The day we all expected to one day come, but prayed wouldn't, has arrived. I am so thankful that all my friends who live in London are safe and well, and my deepest condolences are with the people and familes of those victims who were not so fortunate. The emergency services all deserve the highest recognition for their work today.
We shall prevail through this, and so will our freedoms and way of life. We stand united. Things are already returning to a state of normality here, our message back to the terrorists. We are not terrorised. we take it on the chin and continue. As a World War Two veteran said on the national news today, we've had worse, we will endure and emerge the victors.
We are a country with great strength, with a capital with great heart, and we shall not be beaten.
