Chinatown Wars

I haven't updated my personal blog in awhile, but I thought now's a good time. I'm playing GTA: Chinatown Wars, which is awesome. I wish the driving physics could be ported over to GTA IV.

From: Vivendi Games
Genre: Real-Time Strategy
I'm a huge fan of the RTS genre, from the Command & Conquer series to StarCraft. Whenever developers come out with a demo for an RTS it's usually a great download to get. The demos usually include a tutorial, a couple missions and sometimes a bit more. So, it's worth your time downloading any RTS demo. That said, Caesar IV is no exception. In this demo you are given a great and simple tutorial while you start off.
Although, the tutorial is a bit annoying as it takes a bit of your lower left hand corner, it's easy to minimize and pop back up when needed. The demo includes a lot of buildings to choose from helping you expand your empire quickly and efficiently.
In most city building RTS games, you're usually given a council or advisers that help you along the way. Using your council will always help you manage your city, especially when you forget to building more housing that the jobs you create. Although, you're given a lot of money to start out with, it quickly dwindles away if your not careful. But starting off with a lot of cash is a big plus for any game, especially this demo.
You can download Caesar IV here and you can download any patch, demo, mod, map etc at the Gamespot Downloads Page. Till next time, download, download download.
