Caedmon's Call is a faith-based band that rocks with the best. Mellow enough without becoming sappy. Acoustically driven lyrics that border on silly to absolutely profound. There are a lot of memorable verses delivered like from Standing up for Nothing - "I can't stop staring at myself, my face reflected in this empty plate, I can't decide if it's the devil, or if it's just something I ate." or the honest lyrics of "Bus Driver" that tell of the joy of monotony.
