Gears 2 tomorrow and yet still no xbox

how do i start off. Onced again i'm forced to wait for the "never" coming box to arrive at my house while gears is tomorrow and me and my friends preorder it (Well hes getting the collector edition) i was hoping to be able to play together..but it looks like we wont be playing together for a "long" time.
