Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? I noticed that Being Erica, a Canadian series, was missing the season 2 episodes from episode 2 onwards. I decided that I would investigate and provide the titles and original air dates. All 5 updates were rejected, apparently the original air date means the U.S. date which is next year with the Canadian air date in the notes section. Am I now going to have to go back over all the series for which I'm responsible and find the U.S. air dates and put them in as the originals???? I am mad, just a lot!!

I don't blame you. Seems like the original air dates should be for the original airing.

I think it is a case of editor's discretion for the Being Erica airdates. Season 1 used the USA airdates, and the editor probably wants the airdates to be consistent in the later seasons (although I would think the 2010 airdates are a bit speculative and weird.) I wouldn't worry about changing the airdates on shows that you edit, as long as they are consistent.

Hi Maverick, You have every right to be upset, even the submitting rules states original airdates not reruns etc.

You are correct sir!!! The airdates are for the first run for the show not first run in the US. That's how I was able to keep up with Being Human because it had already aired in the UK and all the episodes were listed along with Recaps.

Thanks for the support everyone I was just having a bit of a rant! I didn't even get the credit for adding the episode titles which I'd researched, still, it's done now. As everyone points out, the submission rules should apply, original air dates although I do like m00nshadow's idea of a kinky time travel angle.
