What do you think are the top 10 toughest Xbox Live Arcade game to 100% and why?

First off, let me say this, I am not counting any games that have not been 100%ed, I am only talking about ones that at least someone somewhere has 100% complete all the achievements for that game, if no one has completed all the achievements then I am not counting that game. Examples of games I am not counting:

Astroids/Astroids Deluxe (no one has Platinum acheviement), Battlezone (no one has General achievement), Warlords (no one has Earl achievement, its glitched), Smash T.V. (no one has the last achievement on there [50g], its glitched). I will not count those because until someone gets the final achievement on them then they are deemed impossible.

Heres my list: and in order of most difficult 1st: #1 Rush n' Attack, #2 Joust, #3 Space Girrafe, #4 Robotron 2084, #5 Tron, #6 Super Contra, #7 Discs of Tron, #8 Geometry Wars, #9 Tempest, #10 Xevious.

That is my list, I have completed some fo the ones on this list: #7 + #10 but I do consider them to be among the top 10 toughest. Also I have not even one of the ones on this list: #4 but due to reputation I must add it.

So whats your list and do you agree with mine?

Embarking on an absurd goal of mastering all xbox live arcade games (100%ing)!

I now have 100% completed 23 arcade games, which was no easy tasks, I am very willing to help anyone and everyone out that asks as I know of many techniques that can be used to ease your pain and the difficulty for getting bunches of achievements concerning arcade games on xbox live. I will aslo likely be upping the requirement for new clan members to join soon as well. For further information on either of these you can check on the Paladins of Pawnage Union on this site, or just message me on xbox live.

Finally!

I plan to buy a router tonight at Wal-Mart and get all this crazy online bussiness sorted out. So expect to see me on Xbox Live much much more frequently now and same goes for here. It sucks when your router doesn't work. I think I'll go with a LinkSys.

Aegis Aerial Antics! And other stuff.

So many of you may already know that I like achievements. Let me start off by explaining this I don't really care that much about my overall "GamerScore", seriously, I don't. The thing about achievements that I really like is the difficulty that comes along with the ones that I chase after. I like hard games, I know there are some games out there (even ones I like and play) that I know I will never fully "master" nor get all the insanely difficult achievements in them. I do like to "complete" all of the games that I really like, and by "complete" I mean just that. That means to unlock every thing that is hidden in the game, to beat the game on the hardest level of diffculty to dominate the online lobby (as best as I can), and to get every achievement as well, the whole time having a greta deal of fun. I do understand that supremely difficult games are not for everyone, meaning a lot of you people think guys like me are crazy people who like to bring pain upon themselves. Thats not at all the case with me and people like me, I say this because unlike some other gamers, we ENJOY these insanely difficult games and find great joy in "conquering" and "mastering" these terrific games. I will say one more thing before I close this paragraph, I do not label people as "hardcore" gamers or "casual" gamers. We are all gamers and I do not think "lowly" of someone who has not beaten certain easy or mild games and who will not even try hard games. If you enjoy easy games and consider them to be fun, then that suits you just fine, thats usually just not the type of games I like, usually. I do, however, acknowledge someone who has "mastered" certain difficult games or has shown incredible feats of supreme skill but unlocking certain things or achieving certain thigns as well.

Anyways, concerning the suject, I do have all 200 points on Aegis Wing, which 3 months ago I thought I'd never get "Ace" but now I can get it fairly easily. This game did have a fairly steep learning curve in my opinion, and at first playing it I didn't like it, but after a few tries I grew to love it. I now play it "very" often and I highly enjoy helping strangers and friends alike getting all the achievements and helping them have a better, more enjoyable experience with Aegis Wing. Seriously, this game is soooo fun! I enjoy going neck-to-neck with the pros at it too (concerning score and the like). So, while I was playing today I found someone who joined my Aegis Wing room game that was a very good player, and I did not at the time have a "workable" mic, so I used my ship do try to relate different messages to my teammates. So he beat my score on the first level by a whole 3,000 points, I then noticed I had another skilled player in the room with me and got in my "serious" mode . I passed him in score somewhere in the 3rd level but he was still right on my heels in points (less than 1,000 difference). It was of course on Insane difficulty level as thats the only mode I like on that game, so enemies were very easy to find. I normally just take 1 area of the screen and let the others take the rest, so I took the bottom half of the screen throughout this game, only picking up the "laser" speacial weapons and letting anyone else have any other ones. Well not only was this guy stealing "lasers" and just about any item he could, but he was also coming down on my side of the screen and stealing my kills. It was "on" now . So, I swirled around his ship (given the opurtuninty) to try and coax him into joining with my ship, eventually he did and when that happened I rammed his ship into an incomming meteor. I laughed so hard, it was all playful fun and all but still it was great and I did win in the end by less than 8,000 points. But that is soo fun, and I suggest that you all try it sometime. You may think I'm crazy, but the I have yet to receive any such negative responses from people who I crash into meteors or the like, as it is just a game. And in the end I help them with their achievements, so we all get what we want. lol I just crash people into meteors when they join with me, unless I have a good reason not too do so. Thats just 1 small detail of a game that is so much fun and if anyone wants to play with me on in send me a game invite or a message, I'll usually be more than willing to do so.

Congrats if you read all the way down to hear!

Your #1 stop for free achievements!

I spend more time playing the Xbox Live arcade games than I do the regular Xbox 360 games (I'm old-school). So I can help anyone get a bunch of the achievements in each of the games listed below:

Double Dragon

Super Contra

Aegis Wing

DOOM

Contra

Street Rage 2

Rush 'n Attack

And probably a few other, but none come to mind right now. Just send me a message and we'll get right to it. My Xbox 360 GT is the same as my GS username. ^^^^

Video Recording

Well I will have some new videos created, edited, and posted by me that I will be uploading possible within as little as 1 week, I hope you alll will enjoy them, as it is Super Smash Bros. Melee gameplay that I have recorded. I used a direct feed, connected the VCR to the TV and Nintendo Wii so that the quality of the picture should be very crisp. My friend will then transform my VHS tapes into DVD format. I will then have them sent back to me where I will edit them and upload them, I certainly hope yall will enjoy these vids.

2008 is unavoidable!

The year 2008 is less than a week away from us now and I'm excited. Many of you gamers in the USA are already familiar with the "state quarters", yes, I collect coins. Well the United States of America started these special "state-themed quarters" in 1999 and they will end with them in 2008, the last set of these special quarters will be availible in common currency in just a few days, because 2008 is nearly upon us. Now you are probably veyr familiar with the fact that we have 50 states, but there are indeed 100 different quarters. How can this be? Let me explain: In pennies there are usually 3 different types of each penny, or that was the case from 1911-1974 with the exceptions of 1921-1923, 1932-1934, and 1956-1967. These 3 different versions were distinguished from each other by a very small marking on them. The regular pennies would have no markings whatsoever on them that represented anything than your average penny, these would be the pennies minted in Philidelphia, these were very common. The pennies with a very small D under the year date would be a bit rarer pennies, these pennies were minted in Denver. Lastly, the rarest of the 3 pennies were the ones with a small S under the year date, these pennies were minted in San Francisco (I'm pretty sure). From 1975-present, there have been no S minted coins of any kind.

I'm going on about this because that is why there are 2 different versions of the quarters, they have the P and the D versions of each "state-themed quarter". Thus I am collecting both versions. As if you read the above, you would know that the D version is rarer than the P version thus it is more difficult to find. So far, concerning my quarter collection I have all but 1 (the one I am missing is the D version of Maine) of the quarters from the 1999-2003 collection (50% of the "state-themed quarter" collection. However, of the 2004-2008 collection, I am missing 22 different quarters (of which all the ones that have been released I am only missing the some of the D versions). This is super exciting for me as 2008 is just around the bend and I only have 24% of the "state-themed quarters" left to find and add to my collection, thus making it complete once I get them all. I have not searched coin stores for these coins, or paid special fees for them, I have merely pulled them out from circulation. As of now, each "state-themed quarter" is valued at 200% of what it is worth to the average American (that means if I were to take one of my quarters to a coin shop, I could get an easy 50 cents of each one). Once I have my complete collection it will of course be worth more than that. I will not sell it immediately for an instant profit, but instead my plans are to keep them preserved in near mint condition for my future children, thus when it comes time for them to decide what to do with them, they will have easily most likely quadrupled in total value from the original value and they can decide to either keep them for greater value or sell them instantly. My penny collection is for myself though .

Your thoughts on this topic please?

Riddles are Back!

OK heres Riddle #1, hope yall enjoy them.

I grasp my enemies with a grip that will stick,

Upon looking at me many humans grow sick.

I tear my food apart with my beak,

If you wander to close, to me you might freak.

Of all my fellow creatures, I am the most intelligent,

But with one look, you can tell I'm not heaven sent.

My enemy resembles a sub,

However, he won't fit in your tub.

Who am I?

I will accept 2 possible answers. Thats right, on this quiz there is not only 1 but 2 correct answers, thus your chances of getting it right have doubled.

ps: all my riddles are homemade, enjoy.

Beowulf

So I saw an exclusive 3-D version of the movie Beowulf last night, had 3-d glasses and all but it costs me $2 more than normal b/c it was 3-D. I am a huge fan of the story Beowulf and the last 2 movies made on Beowulf I do not think have done it justice yet. Also the movie known as The 13th Warrior (antonio bandarres) is a veyr good movie, and is mostly based on Beowulf, although you really gotta know your Beowulf to get all the hints and all throughout the movie. As far as this new version I saw in theatres, I loved the graphics, they were absolutely stellar, and I had thought that they did a good job on the story too adding in a bit of humor as well. So I really liked the movie, I do not understand why it wa srated PG-13 though b/c I would have rated it R, the things movies get away with today, so much more lax than the videogaming industry. Anyways, let me know your thoughts of the movie if you will, as I am very much so looking forward to them, I hope yall enjoyed it as much as I did.

My GamerScore

I Just found a cool website today as I was messing around, and it let me generate my GamerTag for use in forums. I thought, cool I'll post it to some of the other forums I go to, instead of just a mediocre text I now have a ineractable picture/signature. Once I updated it and all I clicked on the picture and low and behold, it showed me more stats than I have ever seen concernign my GamerScore. I was impressed on 2 points that I wanted to tell yall about that just really made my day! #1 Virtua Fighter 5: Online has been out on the Xbox 360 for about 10 days, I am ranked (based on ym achievements) as #69 out of 15,000+ gamers who play that game. Think thats good? Wait till you hear this, I am ranked on Super Contra (Xbox 360 arcade game) as #163 out of 99,000+ gamers. The funny thing is, is that I haven't even got all the achievements on eitehr one, I am missing the hardest one on Contra, and I am missing about 8 on VF5. I would like to see yalls badges after you make them there, please give me a link in the comments.

My new Xbox 360 game (VF5)

I wasn't able to buy it until 2 days after it came out, November 1st, but once I did start playing it it wasn't long till I was impressed. I have been waiting for this game ever since I finished VF4:Evolution (PS2) and let me assure you it was well worth the wait. VF is not like your typical fighting game, its not a button masher like Tekken or anything even close, in fact it is as far from a button masher as any game could possibly be. Thats one of the reasons that I like it, because its so veyr realistic and a veyr respected game for being so and being able to compete with all of these "unrealistic" fighting games and still be in the top 3 fighting game seriesof today's videogames.

Its also to the point to when I play it, after I've finishe dplaying a session of it I actually perform better in my martial arts, this is no joke. This is the case because the moves that I perform in the game are real moves that you would perform in that style of martial arts. They have added 2 new characters which are pretty cool, I thought they wouldn't be but they have turned out to be better so I'm cool with that. I also love the graphics, so very impressive and the musical sound track is incredible. The level of difficulty have been stepped up rather steeply and I enjoy that as well, seeing as VF4 was pretty easy compared to this game. I already have 7 losses out of 484 wins, in VF4 I would usually have 1-2 losses out of 900 wins. Also I'm in the top tiers now in quest mode and the enemies are getting brutal. If theres one thing thats good about fighitng Computer opponents, its when the developers make them so hard and original in thinking that they almost mimic things that a high level human player would do. I can't wait to play it online, when I get Gold Membership in December.

SSBB Update (stuff Dojo doesn't have yet)

OK well as many of you may or may not be aware, there have been numerous Nintendo conferences, and other compainies conferences that are all relavent because they all may or may not or have already played a part in the "new" stuff happening with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You heard me right, stuff that hasn't been updated on the official site yet. Oh, whats that? You don't think its a reliable source? ok Well I'll post the link afterwards that has some of the inofrmation, but few are as excited about SSBB as me, and thats saying a lot but I'm prepared to back it up. A portion of this information though, has already been updated on the Dojo that wasn't at the time all this information was released. So here goes:

Among the conferences that had happened in the past 2 months, Sonic was released and updated on the Dojo right after one of them, but before the site would update Sonic's "Final Smash", some of us gamers already knew what it was and had seen it in action. How is that possible? Nintendo had a "Treehouse Event" in which many gamers were allowed 2 minutes each of gameplay on SSBB using Wii Motes as the only controller allowed at the presentation. To some of you that are as up-to-date on this stuff as I am, this is old information, but bear with me as I am trying to keep those who missed it "in-the-fray". among some of the new screen shots that you may have already seen on GameSpot-SSBB-Screenshots, you will notice pictures and videos of peopel playing, this was at a nintendo Press Conference, where they allowed for very little play, but still it was a playable demo, the first one really, even before the Treehouse Event. However, in the Press Conference, they did show four videos each approximatly 1 minute in length, but all videos ended right after a player picked up a Final Smash Ball, and before he was able to use it. This got us SSBB fans really interested, and also proved that the fastest characters will not necesarrily be the best charcaters due to Final Smash Balls as we had previously thought. I say this because you don't just pick up a Final Smash Ball, it appears on the edge of the screen, could be top, bottom, left, or right. It can go through floors and walls and not even slowed down, however, it does move very slow (kinda floats like a balloon). Well thats not all, it takes a lot of damage to open a Final Smash Ball, I don't know of any 1 single move that could open it yet. After a player hits it, or does a quic connecting combo on it, the Final Smash Ball goes veyr fats in the direction that the player hit it in and usually is still in a ball and not yet opened. Once a player breaks open a Final Smash Ball, they start to glow, they only need to press their special B (no direction) to use the Final Smash, but also if a player does enough damage on them before the use it, the Final Smash Ball can be hit out of that player and another one can take it and use it against them. This proves that the fastest players will not necesarrily be the best.

As you all probably know, one of the mostargued over Final Smashes in the game is Samus Aran's Final Smash, because she peels off her suit after she shoots her blast and can use the peeled off parts to throw at people like items, but after all that is done, she is not longer the same character, she is now Zero Suit Samus. I actually love this but most people greatly dislike it. Its like shes Shiek/Zelda on the SSBM but she can't change back until she gets another Final Smash Ball. Once and if, she gets another Final Smash Ball, then I think she stuns everyone with some green energy and regains her suit back and is once again Samus Aran. That, my friends, is Zero Suit Samus's Final Smash.

Further more, the experts we allowed to play this game, or at least a demo of it, and they discovered some things that we all have been waiting for. All of the advanced tecniques are back except for a few, Wavedashing is no longer in SSBB, which would make me think Wave Landing would be out as well, as well as Fox's Wave Dash-Shine blind combo that pushes you off the edge of the stage, I would say thats out of SSBB also. Another thing is that before, after you air dodged you fell straight down and could have no contorl over your chracter except to be able to move them left or right until you landed. The only exception in SSBM to this was the people who had hook-shots and such could sling theirs out right after they air-dogded but after that it was the same for them as was for the other charcaters. Well in Brawl expect this to change, as you will be allowed to do other things right after you air dogde, just like as if you were on ground, although some of you may think this to be a small thing, this is a very crucial update and it will seriously change and affect the gameplay in Brawl. Furthermore, it was very difficult in Melee to catch items, pokeballs, and bomb thrown at you and often times people would just Air-Dodge them and not risk trying to catch them, lest their timing be ever so slightly off and they get hit. As a way to give the noobs a chance, Nintendo has made it much much easier to catch items thrown at you, so all the Smash Brothers noobs out there, someone is looking out for your well-being.

Also when the experts played, they noticed a slightly smoother style of play, which is very good even though Melee was very smooth, and they noticed that all of the characters that they were allowed to play, like 12 or something like that, were all veyr well balanced, except Fox. Right now you may be thinking, Oh great... hes superpowered again right? But thats not the case, they actually said he seemed to stand out a slight bit as a weaker character then the rest, but thats a good thing I think since he was way to powerful in Melee. Also Sonics Final Smash, if you don't know yet, basically turns him into a god, those of you who are familar with the Sonic games would know what I am talking about, but for those of you who are not familiar with them, I'll explain.Once he gets his Final Smash and uses it, he turns glowing yellow, really bright, he is invincible and can fly in any direction, yeah, add his speed with that and you have maybe the best Final Smash in the Game. Also I think that only 1 character can have a Final Smash at a time. Also from what I understand I read that Pikachu's Final Smash turns him inot a large ball of electricty, as you all knew, but it does incredibel ammounts of damage, depending on how deep inside it you get caught, I heard it did over 600 damage in 1 touch to a character, yeah that outrageous. I've also seen Pit's Final Smash in action and those little guys are very very fast and super accurate: Sonic was fighting Pit in a 2 minute game and Sonic was in the center of the stage, it was a fairly small stage, but once Pit used the Final Smash, Sonic, controlled by a very awesome computer player (it also looks like the level of difficulty has been increased on the CPs), was practically pushed off into the bubble screen, but he somehow recovered from it. Ike is super strong. The Energy Sword is blue and not pink (a true Jedi weapon now). There is also a Jump Pad, the Screw Attack has been modified, theres a new type of bomb that does at least 70% damage, theres an item that basically allows you to act like Mario for roughly 30 seconds, and theres a new spiky heavy throwing item.

New assist trophies are: a Metroid, Little Mac (this is old news as Dojo had updated this almost directly after this info was released), a character from Sin and Punishment ( a Japanesse only game, availible for download on your Wii in the N64 section), and Drill Dozer. There are new pokemons as well.

Metroid: Zero Mission

Thats right, I finally blogged again, lol. Too many people pestering me about not blogging in ages so here ya are .

I have had Zero Mission for a long time now and bought it for like 8 bucks, which I knew woud be a steal but after playing this game, thats an outrageously superb price. I never thought a GB GBC or even GBA game would make it into my Hall of Fame games list but I know with only having this one about 65% complete that this one will be in there for sure. Wow! Really, so much I could say about this game but I just can't possibly describe it right now, really theres too much positive information here, I'll write a review about it later this week if I get time or when I beat it. This game is in the top 3 Metroid games of all-time in my opinion and thats saying a whole lot, really! Its just soooo PERFECT!!!!!

It probably is also the fact that I've been so busy with college, and work, and trips, college, and seeking a new job, managing my 6 other forums, and keeping MY 6 other clans up-to-date with everything, and so on, you get the picture.

The new info about SSBB is so exciting, I'll post it after people believe that I finally blogged again, lol.
