Barack Obama: News Update

So obviously people know that some radical Republicans have addressed Obama as a terrorist, which of course is a totally ridiculous comment. Turns out, he could be something just as bad.

In a recent interview with Senator Joe Bieden, an interviewer asked him what he thought of Obama's communist policies. Bieden immediately was enraged and demanded to know who told the interviewer to ask that question. Bieden then said that if Obama is elected president, he and Bieden will "take care" of whoever dared to ask that question.

Obama has also been seen with Communist flags in his office. He also plans on "redistributing money" to the poor while taking from the people with a decent sized income or more. Look it up, its communism. This seriously worries me.

Yeah i liked obama at first but then i started to hear more and more of his policies and history and i just don't like the guy. The way i see it, he was part of a "black chruch" with a pastor that preached nothing but racism and hate, yet no one cares but if it was the other way around, McCain would denounced as a Nazi etc.

Also people who make alot of money already get taxed more as it is, why is he wanting to punish people for being successful? It's not right.

No it isnt reigner, so thanks for actually agreeing with me. I talked to a bunch of other people about this today and only two people believe that Obama is a communist.

Also, I looked up more info on Obama and apparantly he doesn't like America very much, he refuses to put his hand over his heart for the pledge, and his wife absolutely hates America. She is quoted as saying "For the first time in my adult life, I am beginning to like America" or something close to that. Obama is also quite a fan of Che Guevera, and he has a flag of him in his offices. Obama is looking less and less like a good candidate every day.

Why are you so afraid of Communism, and anyway Obama is more of a Socialist, not a communist. Even so what is wrong with Communism and Socialism, NOTHING. Anyone here in america is raised to think Communism is evil because of the Cold War with the Soviet Union. You really think Free Market-Republic (what we live in) is much better? Look at the current economic crisis! We let decades go by, allowing Private bankers and brokers run things and they did nothing but run us into the ground (see Ron Paul on why are banking system sucks and corrupt). So what do we do, you put things in the public hands (Communism/Socialism) and you have problems, yet if you put it in the hands of Private practices, and you have the problems we have now. So honestly, can you give me a damn good reason why communism is scary? Oh, BTW...China has a booming economy, more money than us (they lend us money CONSTANTLY). And if you try to say the milk contamination scares they are having...we had similiar food scare, like EGGs, back in the 70's and 80's.In fact, we still have problems with people/companies not handling beef properly now, so are we really all that much different?

China! So china is your shining example of communism!? a repressive country rife with corruption, poverty, no freedoms what so ever. Yes the west isn't perfect but you know what it's alot better than anywhere else, we have a great many freedoms that people like you are so ignorant of.

Yes, Chinas economy is booming, but only for a select amount of people. The other 70% of Chinese people are living very poorly. As a matter of fact, I watched a video about China in Economics class a couple of days ago, and the people there were struggling just to survive. The poorest people on the videoonly made 8 cents a day. And their policies are similar to Obama's "redistribution of wealth" policies. Do we really want America to be divided into the rich and poor more than it already is? And by the way, Russia and North Korea are communist countries, and we all know what happened/is happening to them. I don't want to sound offensive, but if communism hasn't worked in any countries so far, how can America expect it to work now? I don't.

So in summary heres a bunch of old and new news about why Obama would be a bad president. First up, he has posters of Che Guevera in every single one of his offices (excluding communist flags). Secondly, in his book he lists a number of socialist and communists as the sources of his inspiration. Third, he and his wife HATE AMERICA (theres a sign of a good president). Michelle Obama is quoted as saying "For the first time in my adult life, I am starting to respect my country" only when Obama received the nomination. Obama also refuses to put his hand over his heart for the pledge (what a patriot). Finally, he is described by many Christians as being the anti-christ. I dont know what to think about that but given Obama previous resume, I wouldnt doubt it. Never a good sign for the future of America.

I'm going to vote for Obama, because he looking out for the middle class Americans. If may be selfish, but relistically somebody isn't going to come off ontop whether you choose Obama or Mcain. Whether not it is fair Lord Regnier punish successful people, let me ask you this. Is fair for people to work low income jobs, and not be able to live a decent life. Not having to worry about getting laid off a job they been working there entire life. Life isn't fair in many ways, but we as humans find ways to deal with it.

I agree that Obama my not be the best of canidates, but the same could be said McCain. During his entire campain he down nothing but tell lies and used underhanded tactics against Obama. I'm very surprised you guys haven't said more about it

Obama, plain is simple is a better choice than McCain. McCain is just the same Bush, and there is tons of pictures of McCain hugging Bush out there, so you think McCain is going to solve the economy, a man who was quote saying after getting the RNC primaries, "I'm not much of an economist, let me get my people back to you". Some fo these being the same morons who thought Private banks was a better choice than the gov't regulating them. Now look at our economy, this is the same crap Ron Paul was complaining about that these private bankers do not look out for the people's interest, but their own and have put us in this crunch because of it. I am not enterily saying go socialism, but I am saying that we need a change and a Hybrid economy could do it. Freemarket plus socialism. Oh and these bailouts on the banks are a form of COMMUNISM, and your republican buddy Bush is doing it...A REPUBLICAN!!!! Plain an simple, Socialize healthcare, the banks, and insurance, because these people continue to prove that a private market DOES NOT WORK when the care more about board members than the people/clients. Palin is the type of woman that makes other women look bad...I normally don't believe in this, but she needs to shut her mouth and get back in the kitchen, because she is worthless, not like my first choice this primary which was Hillary, now thats a real woman, though a little bit of a B****! lol

It's pretty funny how people buy into the GOP scare tactics and think Obama is evil or the anti-christ. It just shows how ignorant and racist some people still are in this country, clinging to their guns and religion. Guess what, religion is BS...its called evolution, pick up the Origins of Life by Darwin sometime. The Bible is a great book of fairy tales. Jesus, the first doped out hippie.

I agree with you on some things, dude, but not much. What I do agree with is that our economy does need change to fix the problems that Bush made during his presidency (yes republicans can admit that Bush didn't do very much right as president). I also agree that Palin was an unusual choice for McCain and I do doubt her qualification for Vice-President. But I can't doubt her too much when she has more experience than Obama, a presidential candidate.

However klugenbeel, having a president use a MILDLY COMMIE idea does not make the president communist. The president is communist (like Barack Obama) when he writes in his book that he is inspired by communist and socialist leaders, appreciates Che Guevera, and has been exposed as a communist on the news and in interviews. As for racism in the election, that is just a pitiful, pathetic excuse by Obama supporters to explain why Obama sucks and has a lower popular vote than McCain. In reality, (no offense to fatjoe) Obamas race is what is pulling him through this election. If he wasn't black, he would be just another democratic candidate. Habing the possibility of a black president is just so great to America that they'll vote for him, regardless of how dumb and communist he is.

And by the way, the religion comment was totally unnecessary. I am a Christian and I realize that some things in the Bible are hard to believe, but its no weirder than believing that we descended from frickin monkeys and that the world was formed by a massive explosion, which is totally boneheaded and idiotic. So I can just go into space one day and toss a grenade into space and hope to magically create a planet??? LAME. If you're going to insult politics, fine, but don't be as idiotic to insult 80% of Americans by blasting religion.

I appreciated your post on Obama, fatjoe I am a middle class American as well, and I take comfort in knowing that I will be able to go to college next year and have a life without worrying about losing my job. As for McCain and his underhanded tactics, it's not something that I can deny. But all presidents do the same when they run for president. And Obama has spent more on negative campaign ads while running for president than any previous president in history. I try not to pay attention to negative campaign ads and instead focus on the actual problems at hans, and due to Obama's communist ideals, I wonder what good can come of that in the end. If communism hasn't functioned in any other countries that it has been used in, I wonder how well it will fair here. We'll see how this turns out on November 4th, when the votes are casted. It will be a close election indeed.

Ok well since you think communism is not good or maybe evil...you tell me, find something wrong with Boliva who is going through massive change and socializing many things and the president has been praised around the world for being for the people. Tell me, how is communism/socialism in Boliva a negative thing?
Posted 11/03/2008 2:10pm
A crapload of poor people and a lack of high paying jobs. Granted, it isnt as bad as China, North Korea and Russia, but its still not great. The way I see it, communism has been a total failure in 3/4 of the countries we have discussed, and the one that does function isn't as well off as we are. I come from a midlle class family that only gets around $30,000 a year, but I still can't accept the policies of an inexperienced, communist crackpot. He couldn't accomplish much in community service, so how can I expect him to do something for America? You've got to admit that this "change" can't be that great for the country.
Posted 11/03/2008 3:22pm
Yet you can accept the policies of a moron like Bush? Also you say those countries aqre bad off, have you not opened you eyes? We are doing horrible in the economic scale and have because of bad policies from Republicans for the past 8 years. Unemployment is up, Welfare is up, lays offs are up, and job security is down. People are making less money and the prices on items has gone up, so how the hell are we doing...bad. You think Russia is doing bad....LOL...omg you kidding me? They are better off right now than us, they also do no rely on OPEC for oil either and the morale is up in the country. i am sorry, but Putin and friends have been doing nothing but improving Russia since the Soviet collapse. I don't know where you get your ideas, but turn off the Fox News, it is rotting your brain. Oh and Obama won, here comes your "communism". Omg get real dude, and stop listening to the scare tactics of the Right Wing. AL FRANKEN FOR SENATE!
Posted 11/05/2008 11:57am
Ok first off, I dont watch fox news. I dont have the channel because I only get basic cable. Secondly, since Obama won, Im planning on leaving the country before we have to burn the American flag and say the Obama National Anthem. Maybe Canada or England would be nice places to go. Third, Russia's gas prices are through the roof and like China, some peopl are extremely poor and work deadend jobs that pay them almost nothing. Again, communism does not work. It leads to dictatorship with people like Stalin, Kim Jon Ill, and Mao Zedong ruling the country. And now America has its own little dictator to rule the country and take away our rights and freedoms. Thats why me and a couple of friends are comsidering leaving America after college. Ive already started reading information about communism so I know what little rights Ill have with four years of Obama. You can stay here with your flag burning, America-hating "president".
Posted 11/05/2008 1:46pm
Alright, I will enjoy the "flag burning President", and when all the bad things you crazies think will happen, don't, I will be lauighing all the way to the bank as some of our money starts coming back to the people, and not Big Oil and other Corp Companies that do not need it!
