Mooma - Relaxing Ambient Music for Your Dreams of Imaginary Worlds

Hello everyone,
This is my first blog entry here in MP3.com. I've
entered as an artist but I'm always interested in hearing new music and
connect with people and other artists. I've have self-released an
ambient album which is available for free download.

I'm an ambient music composer from Finland and I want to share with you my work "Herd Forming". It is an album of completely beatless ambient music like a soundtrack to dreams and imaginary worlds - a gentle flow of sound that many have found relaxing.

Download and listen to the album at the album page. See my artist page for more info.

Lunar Phase Heavenly Music Corporation
"Trendy"
This brings me back to the 90s sound. The album applies quite a lot of interesting modern electronic music composition techniques and rich sounds. Some elements on the tracks of this album are somewhat timeless but some things like those drums and acid sequences sound so... 90s. This is in a way a representation of ambient music and ambient techno from the mid 90s ambient boom, if one could call it that. Whatever, I will call it that now.

E-Band Rock/Pop
"Chameleon"
Real Love is a laid back and mellow interpretation of a nice Beatles song. With a basic but nice arrangement and a pleasant voice, E-Band has created an enjoyable version of this old Beatles song. E-Band's version doesn't jump at you while listening but that's not the point considering that the original was also quite mellow and laid back. Interestingly the voice occasionally brings into mind different singers from Phil Collins to.. who know what. E-Band has a broad selection of nice songs.

Secret Faith of Salamanders Thom Brennan
"Timeless"
Timeless piece from an ambient mastermind, Thom Brennan. Secret Faith of Salamanders is an extremely soft flow of sound that engulfs you in it's caressing. In this album, Brennan, one of the underestimated masters of ambient music, has created one of his best works. It is in many ways similiar to his other works but this summarizes Brennan's ability to create an evocative flow of beautiful sound.

Secret Faith of Salamanders is composed of long, approx. 15 minute long pieces with a quality which makes them perfectly suitable for a soundtrack to sleeping. Be it meditation music or sleep music, it still makes even for great active listening. A recommended Thom Brennan album.
