Another thing is its not really "greatest artists" so much as my favorite, though some artists on there I don't like; I just tried to make it my list of favorites combined with the greats.
Update: I'm going to italisize artists I've added to the list as well as removed from the list.

Maroon 5 is an okay band but really could be so much better. These guys have only one hit song on their only album "Songs About Jane" being "She Will Be Loved", and the rest of the songs are an aquired taste as they probably won't impress you right off the bat, and really aren't that good. Maroon 5 has great potential, but they need to put together an album soon and that album is going to have to be good and have more songs that could be easily released as singles and become hits.

Nickelback is definitely one of the few good rock bands of this decade. They have put together a lot of good music and have a pretty good range of styles of rock incorporated into them. They have made some good slower and softer songs and some pretty good harder stuff. Most of Nickleback's music combines, pretty good lyrics, with a good vocalist, good guitar, bass, and drums that all blends together so well. Nickleback is currently and is going to remain one of the best rock bands of this decade and hopefully more decades to come.

Bob Dylan is one of the most ifluential musical song writers of all time. That said he isn't really hasn't put together any songs I enjoy listening to. He has touched many genres of music such as blues, folk, and country, but one thing that makes me angry is when this guy is considered a rock artist which in my mind he isn't at all. He influenced it a lot, but he can't be considered a rock artist as he never really performed any music that I've heard that sounds like rock whether it be rock of the 50's and 60's or 70's and 80's or more recent stuff its just NOT rock. In my opinion all the songs he plays himself are pretty much crap, and when some other artist plays one of his songs in their own style its a hit. Bob Dylan doesn't always get the credit he deserves for writing songs, but he and his band playing music together are just crap which is where it counts the most.

Great

Quiet Riot is a good band that didn't produce a whole lot of good music but the songs of theirs that were good were/are classics. Songs like "Cum on Feel the Noize" and "Bang Your Head (Metal Health)" are great classic songs and represent what Quiet Riot had to offer, but they didn't make hardly any good music apart from those two songs, but they have the Quiet Riot name going for them as that is just one cool ass name for a band. The other music they made was either decent enough or crap. Their guitarist Randy Rhodes was awesome, but he left the band early on in Quiet Riots career as a band. The vocalist had a cool voice, but it wasn't combined with very fitting lyrics that often. In the end Quiet Riot was a good enough band that created one of the best songs ever.

Candlebox Rock/Pop

Candlebox was probably one of the better 90's alternative and grunge bands but isn't recognized and often overlooked. These guys had one major hit being "Far Behind" it was a great song and not the only good one that they made. Candlebox were outshined by bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden, but were still a good band and made some good music during the 90s alternative and grunge era.

About Me

Gamespot is the main reason I have this profile, but I do visit the other sites. For GS I've always liked video games, and my first two were Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball and Super Mario World for the SNES. Both were awesome. My favorite two games however are Quake and C&C Red Alert. For Filmspot, I've always enjoyed movies and have been wondering for awhile when a movie site would be made. My favorite 2 movies are The Bourne Identity and Supremecy. The books are good too. I like most any genre of movies, but not so much Romance, or Horror. I like movies that are funny, that have good action, and stories that make you say "Yes!" to yourself or give you a chill gittery feeling. For TV.com, I wasn't into TV except for funny shows like South Park or Family Guy until just last year. My current favorite shows are Smallville, Supernatural, and Heroes. For MP3.com I don't have hardly any interest in the site, but my favorite music is Rock 'n Roll, I enjoy most any kind except the really old stuff aside from Elvis Presley, Punk, and Screamo Metal. Other stuff about me is I play football for my High School as Defensive Back, I might play Baseball as pretty much a Utility player. I play an Electric Guitar, but I'm not that good and I don't really practice too much. I have a fascination with super heroes my favorite is Iron Man, and I like others like Spiderman, Batman, Superman, among others. Finally I'm a proud Christian, but have yet to find the motivation to act upon it. I will accept most any friend request.
