My Reactions on E3 for Nintendo so far...
SPOILER ALERT: It sucks.
Seriously, I was waiting for a big announcement about the Wii. First, about 10 minutes of tooting their own horn. Soon, they say they will focus on three games. My excitement turns into a "don't really care" attitude when I find that all of the titles are third party. Surely, this isn't it, is it? Okay, so apparently it is as we move on to the DS portion of the show. More third party games along with Pokemon. Yawn. Then I leave. Apparently, I missed Animal Crossing for the Wii (Don't care), Wii Sports 2 (Big yawn) and a voice chat device (Really don't want). I come back in time for the big announcement. The lights dim. The excitement builds...and then we see a man using his Wii remote and Nunchuck to play the drums. What. The. ****. The big announcement is a game that was announced when the console was first coming out. But wait! There's more! You don't actually have to hit buttons as they appear on screen to play the game! You can just press any button you please as long as its in time. I'm sure that won't get boring after 5 minutes! So I sit waiting for another announcement, only to see everybody leave the stage. Worst. Presentation. Ever.
As a long time Nintendo fan, I must say that this is the first time Nintendo has nothing remotely interesting on the horizon. Megaman 9 is the only upcoming game I care about, and that's just sad.

Was I the only one who paid attention to and liked the concepts?
But wait, there are all these new concepts! You can now use voice chat online! That's never been done before. Only for every other console on the face of the Earth. Hell, Metroid Prime Hunters had voice chat. Sure it wasn't during the match, but it had it! Plus, voice chat sucks. I've never seen anyone play an online game with voice chat and not had some moron shouting stupid crap because he thinks he is funny.
As for the Wii motion plus, it sounds like just another adapter that costs more money, and for only a few games that will use it. It is nothing huge: it's an add-on that makes the control do what it was always said it did: follow the player's movements.
The point is Nintendo didn't announce a single game that would interest the gamer who would like nothing more than A ****ING GAME!!!
Now, I'm not saying "Screw you Nintendo, I'll never play another of your games again" or "I'm selling my Wii." No. I'm simply saying that press conference sucked. End of story.
So, you have no idea what you wanted to see?
