Back from the beach

Being out of the saddle for more than 2 weeks has such an amazing effect on one's constitution... however, it's extraordinarily detrimental to one's TV.com level and rank! ;-(

Looking forward to writing comments on all of the current celebrities in the media. After all, with a Mai-Tai in hand, the only good reading I could find was US and People...

We're up, real nice

And after long last, a warm congratulations to the whole TV.com team for a job well done. The site looks and feels great, and now on to reviewing more shows!

"Home, home on the range...

...where the deer and the antelope play." My Grandfather used to whistle that as he awoke before daybreak. After making a Thermos of coffee, he proceeded to sit out on his front lawn with a pellet gun, and pick pigeons off the wire hanging over his driveway. This was his solution to prevent the scavengers from crapping on the hood of his Chevy. When I was younger I used to laugh at that story, though as I aged, I started to feel distinctly disconcerted. "Things have to get dirty before they get clean", he used to tell me. He was very right, and so much of the world works with these types of binary (and sometimes extreme) measures. It's all very clear to me now.

I love the dreamy, distorted Hendrix-inspired guitar riffs, and the 1980's 'Miami-vice slow mo on the go-fast boat' feel to these haunting tracks. Just awesome to drive to... fast, and under neon lights while lamenting the death of an ex-girlfriend.

I would like start a disscussion on the prospect of linking your dreams with someone, voluntary or involuntary. Anyone had any experiences? Know of any techniques? Anyone think this possible?

Well I'll start things off with my view:
What made me start this topic was that I think this last night I had a linked dream with my friend. Were good friends and close so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I can tell because towards the end of the night he said "'cya nick" as he always does when we are going to seperate. He dissapeared and a bit later, not much later, I woke up. I went to school and asked what time he woke up and he said 6:19 which was 11 min before me.

On to techniques, I think since when everyone sleeps at night thier astral body leaves the physical one and goes and floats around soo if everyone is on the astral plane i don't think it would be impossible for two people to wander together. I bet that if one could astral project (which is so not me) they could go and meet whatever person on the astral and yada yada. I have tried a few spells to direct my astral form since I cannot project but so far no luck with those.

Ok now I'm anxious to hear what everyone else thinks!

I tried to blow up Murtaugh with a commode full of dynomite. You may think it wasn't me because it was in the second film, but they cut out my back story scenes, those sniveling corporate bastards. Murtaugh is fun to try to kill; I like when he get's flusterd and gesticulates wildly while screaming, "Riggs!"
