Boy Kill Boy
I'm up to the B's and just discovered Boy Kill Boy - how good are they?!! I'm not too sure about the comparison made though - Hard-Fi and The Smiths? Definitely not The Smiths, I can't stand them so I don't want something I like compared to them and I don't think they sound the same anyway! I love Hard-Fi and they are more like them out of the two with the upbeat head bopping sound but they still sound different, Hard-Fi bring a lot more different genres to their tracks and Boy Kill Boy are more straight rockin'!
Anyway, what do I know......

First post!
Just found out that you could write a blog on here
(duh echo's 'round the room!) So I thought I'd write something quick and I'm procrastinating!
Just like to say this is a fantastic site, better than the music section of download.com - although I do like the fact you can actually download instead of stream!
I'm listening to the full album stream of the latest Alien Ant Farm album at the mo' and gotta say it's sounding pretty good, totally different from their first album, much more mellow but still rockin'! I've decided to go through the entire A - Z list of the free music section and considering I'm only at Alien Ant Farm it may take me a while!
Laters,

Recent Reviews
One of those rare cases where the second album is better than the already fantastic first! The Music are a brilliant band and it's a shame they haven't burst out into the scene the way they deserve to. Still, more for the rest of us!
Great album, go get it!

This is one of the cases where the debut album is a great big smash and the follow up is just a big swing and a miss. One or two of the songs are good and got my hopes up but what a major disappointment. The bonus tracks are better than the songs they put on the album!
Steer clear people.

What the hell happened here? I love Limp Bizkit and I even loved Results May Vary when that got mixed reviews and some past fans started to desert. I was excited when I found out they were releasing a new album and with Borland back I was thinking my ears would be happy on hearing some more Rollin'-like classics. But when I put this in I don't even know how to put my disappointment. The music is alright and I do like the song The Truth - the only thing stopping it from getting a 0. What's going on with the lyrics and they're poorly delivered too. I own every Bizkit cd but my unquestionable truth is will I buy the next one?????
If something doesn't change it's not looking good.

This album is great I could listen to it over and over again! Such a great mix of sounds. My only critisim is the final song, I prefer an album to end on an upbeat note and this is the total opposite. But don't let that stop you GET IT NOW!
Definitely over taken Ali G as the best thing to come out of Staines!
Fingers crossed I get to see them in St Kilda, Australia on 27th September!

This mp3 player is great. It's really simple to use and lasts forever (okay not forever but close enough....). It's well made, can take a beating and when they talk about sound quality in the review they're spot on.
The issues I have with it though are the lack of coloured interface. Although that doesn't stop the player from working and is more personal preference, looking at album art etc would just be a nice touch. I'm also annoyed at the lack of extra features that come with it. Unless you've been living under a rock with all the media hype it feels like every 99 in 100 people own an i-pod and there's so much you can do with those - podcasts in particular interest me. I only hope Sony get their act together and follow the same path.
