Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful and peaceful time.
Xyle XY
So I'm on break now for Christmas and I've been watching a bit of the TV series; Heroes, Standoff, Justice, Til Death, and now Kyle XY. Kyle XY is a great show and I can't wait for the next season.
For those that haven't seen Kyle XY, it is about a kid who shows up in the woods and has no idea who he is or anything. His knowledge is at the level of a baby and he has to learn everything on his own. This has become one of my favorite shows. I Think there is a lot that one can learn from it.

Air Guitar... That you can actually hear!
Have you found yourself playing the air guitar and wished you actually could produce noise by doing that? Well, now you can!
CSIRO, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, has created an air guiter which makes noise. It has sensors which are located on both of your elbows and wirelessly transmits your movements to a computer to output sound according to your motion.
The plan for this technology besides an air guitar is for use in developing applications for the health and sporting areas such as physiotherapy devices which will track postures and exercises. The air guitar is simply a way to try out the new technology in a fun manor and hey, maybe they'll make a couple extra dollars to help fund it
I wonder how much this 'air guitar' will cost.

Talk Show Host
It's been a while since I have done much on here besides just check in. From just jumping on for a sec here and there though I finally hit level 7, Talk Show Host.
This term in school has been very busy both in studies and as a Resident Assistant in the residence halls (dorms). I am ready for classes to be over for the term and start fresh. Hopefully I can get everything together earlier and it will be an easier term in the Winter. Ideally I'll be able to be around here more as well.
While back in school I have increased my collection of egg scales more. Just got 3 new scales in great condition w/ the original boxes and all and hoping to get a new one soon
I need to get pictures of them here shortly.
Ok, well back to the biochem studying. Peace all.

If only things would slow down
So I'm back at college for training as I am an RA, Resident Assistant. The residents will be moving in this Sunday and I have just been busy all day, whether it's for training (either myself or helping the new people, this is my second year doing this) or working on stuff I need to get done before everyone arrives and class begins. I will be teaching a class for about 20 freshmen for a total of 10 hrs as well which I need to get all ironed out.
If only this was my trouble. I just got a call from my brother telling my that one of my high school teachers died due to cancer which she has had for 2.5 yrs now. She was doing very well so this came very shockingly to me. I really liked her, she was one of my favorite teachers and I continue(d) to talk to her. Now I have a funeral to look forward to.
I seem to be too busy with all that is going on and can't enjoy it all. I know I need to take less on and slow down at times I just can't seem to do it. I haven't been able to even take an hour of time during the week to watch a show I enjoy VERY much, Prison Break. I was however able to go to So You Think You Can Dance? tour which was wonderful. It was so nice having that break and being able to forget everything. I went with my mom, a co-worker who has taught me so much during my journey towards becoming a veterinarian, and a friend of hers. The dance was great. The company I was with and the dancing was very nice and couldn't of come at a better time.
Well, enough typing, I gotta get back to getting stuff done, and I know very few will read this anyways ;P
