So, I havn't been on forever...
The Darts have fallen...
Well, yesterday was the quarter-finals for the state championship for 5A High School Football. We lost... ![]()
We were playing the favorites for state, so we were expected to loose, but it is still sad.
Oh well, the game was still fun. It was my dates first time to ever go to a football game, at any level. She just moved, and they didn't have football at her old school. It was funny trying to teach her the rules. ![]()
Anyway, the Miners better watch out next year when the Darts come back for revenge...
Hahahahah!
THAT IS IT!!! This is a call to action!!!
All those who have ever loved George are now called upon! Do your duty to that which you once cherished! We have been lazy, and it is our fault that George is no longer loved by any of the n00bs!
As of late, there has been increasing hatred for this beloved ship. Are we going to stand for this?! I say, NO! We are not!
Just today I was told George is dead. George is dead. Can you believe that?! Would that have been made a month a ago?! Even two weeks ago?! NO!
The problem is that there are alot of new people, while most who love George have hidden themselves away, inside the fortress we call AIM. That means whenever a new person enters this world, the world where George was born, they are not taught the traditions of the forums! This is a serious problem!
So, I now call apon all you who have ever rememberd George with fondness. All who have ever liked George. All who have ever loved George, as I have! And still do! I call apon you to teach those who need teaching! Help those who need helping! Make those who do not understand, to see the clear and beautiful path that is George!
Please, I have tried, but I can not do this alone. Talk in the Avatar forums. Talk about George. Tell all you know about Geroge. Please. This is important. The traditions of this wonderful forum need to be protected from the naive ways of the noobs. Remember, George lives.
So, one final time I call apon all you who know George. Remember, George lives.
Watch out for that pole!!!
So I drive to school every day, which is nice because then I can go to lunch whenever I want and stuff. But this morning I was really tired. Really tired. I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night because of homework and other things.
This morning I guess I fell asleep while driving. (Which, incase your wondering, I wouldn't recomend trying) I woke up when my sister screamed my name and I looked up just in time to see the telephone pole we were about to hit.
We hit the pole at about 35 mph. (I'm guessing, but I was going 40 before I fell asleep, so it would be right around there) Luckily we all were wearing our seatbelts so no one was seriously hurt. The airbag went off in my face, and my braces got cought on my lips and cut them up. And I have some scratches on my chest and arms, and a bruise from the seatbelt. But those were the only injuries.
The car was totalled, it was pretty messed up. And the telephone pole is going to have to be replaced.
Two police cars, a motorcycle, an ambulance and a firetruck all came help us. I was amazed that so many people were sent, but I guess they were afraid the telephone pole was going to fall, and it was near some houses.
Anyway, I'm ok, but it was really scary. Plus it made me miss math, so now I'm behind. And I don't have a car anymore... ![]()
But the moral of this story is wear your seatbelts. And don't drive tired. And don't drive drunk (even thought that had nothing to do with it
). Oh, and most important of all, don't eat yellow snow. ![]()
Has anyone seen Over the Hedge?
My family just got that yesterday, and so I just say for the first time today. It is really funny!
I love funny movies like that.
Anyway, the reason I'm bringing it up is cause it reminded me of something. When they first find the hedge, they don't know what to call it, but they want to give it a name so it is less scary. So Hamie (sp?), the crazy squirle, says "Lets call it Steve. It's a friendly name."
I laughed so hard at that because it sounds sort of like when I named George.
It's funny.
Thats one of my favorite parts, when they are talking about "Steve".
"Oh great Steve... what do you want?"
"Steve ate Verne!"
"Alright Steve, you asked for it!"
Good times...
