They copied my uncle's band, which is way better than theirs. Theirs is some gay opera stuff, my uncle's band (Slapp Happy) is a band that never released an album because of being involved in drugs (don't do drugs kids =) But yeah gay for taking my uncle's band, the fags.

Let me just say this first. I hate rap. But for some reason I love Rage Against the Machine. It's probably because they actually have a message, rather than the useal rap song's "yeah son im'a gangsta up in dis hood i be slappin da bitches". The things they say are real, and their music is great.

"Holy sh*t! A new Tool CD? Coming out May 2nd? Woo yeah!" I kept that mindset through the first two songs or so. After I got to Wings for Marie and 10,000 days, I sat there. For about 10 minutes. Wondering where the wonderful abrasive Tool sound I had come to love was at. Folks, I'm sorry to say it, but it looks like this album is overrated. Far overrated. Sure, it has some really good songs on it. Four of them. Another two or so I thought were OK, but not for Tool. Tooooool, people. I say to myself "Hey, it'll get better, right?" As soon as I get to The Pot, my spirits are lifted, only to have them crashing down on track 6, Lipan Conjuring. What the f**k, Maynard? The only GOOD songs on here are Vicarious, Jambi, The Pot, and Right In Two. Maybe Rosetta Stoned. The rest? Crap. I felt like I bought an album full of filler with only 30 minutes of good stuff. If you want REAL Tool, people, go buy Aenima or Lateralus or Undertow. Hell, go buy Opiate, the EP has less filler than all of 10,000 days.

Hey Lateralus fans! THIS is the definitive Tool album. Not Lateralus.. This is what makes Tool. Aenima, in my opinion, was a perfect blend of the 'melodic' style of Lateralus and the angrier side of Undertow. This combination yields pure Tool bliss. Aenima, Stinkfist, and Forty Six & Two are the kinds of songs I think of when I think Tool.

I love this band. It\'s a shame they get no radio play. Songs like \'Personal Jesus\' and \'Blasphemous Rumours\' are instant hits with me. Hardly anyone I know listens to them, because of course, nobody listens to what they think is good anymore, they just listen to what\'s \'popular\'. Great band.
