Led Zeppelin is an impossible band to label. They can be bluesy as anything, with Jimmy pulling off some heavy riffs such as in "Since I've Been Loving You" or "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You." They can bring the listener into a fantastic world full of Plant's favorite myths and legend, as displayed in "Achilles Last Stand" and "The Battle of Evermore." They can rock out hard, like in the insane "Immigrant Song" or "Rock and Roll." They can even pull off a great Middle Eastern feel, such as in the famous "Kashmir."
And they can do so much more too. Led Zeppelin will always be the greatest band ever to me, no one else can even compare.

"Gallow's Pole" is one of those songs that just comes out of nowhere and kicks a load of ass. It has this great mythical, olde feel about it that Led Zeppelin puts into use so often and well. I love how it starts slow and foggyish, than gets steadily faster until it reaches a very fast and exciting pace.

Pink Floyd is one of the greatest bands my ears have ever had the pleasure of listening to. God, everything they make blows most music out of the water. Syd Barrett started the band out with a bang with the album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. "Bike" was the only song I listened to for about a week straight...so great.
Roger Waters took the reigns, and steered Pink Floyd well. Dark Side of the Moon is out of this freaking WORLD. "Time," the third song on the CD, is my favorite Pink Floyd song of all time. Not to belittle any of the other songs on the CD though, all of the others are just as phenomenal. The woman screaming/singing her lungs out in "The Great Gig in the Sky" is pretty inspiring. "Money" is another one of my Floyd favorites, it's pretty awesome. The ending one-two punch of "Brain Damage" and "Eclipse" is great as well. DSOTM is just sweet.
From there, Pink Floyd stayed insanely awesome. The Wall is one of the greatest concept albums, without a doubt. I have to get Animals, I heard that was great as well. All in all, everyone and I mean EVERYONE, should at least give Pink Floyd a listen. The band rocked my world, let them do the same for you.

The Jack is my favorite song off of High Voltage. It's simply awesome. How can you not like a song chock full of sexual innuendo? Good stuff man, good stuff.
I have to say though, I feel bad for Bon. How was he to know that she'd been dealt with before?

Believe it or not, the first time I heard Kokomo was off of something made by the Muppets. I remember my brothers and I would rewind the video over and over just to keep hearing this song. You may think the Muppets would completely ruin such an incredible song as Kokomo, but they made it their own.
