Epilogue

(Last of a Series)

Twenty one days, eleven flights, eight countries, six time zones.... It was a great trip, but I had done what I set out to do, and I was excited about heading home. And because of delays in U.S. Customs, if I hadn't qualified for wheelchair assistance, we would have missed our connecting flight in Los Angeles and the trip would have been extended. The final leg may have been the worst of the eleven flights. But it was taking me home.

It would have been great to have traveled with my wife. But though she encouraged the trip for me, she herself hates to fly. And besides, she was busy those three weeks making sure I came back to a nice home. I wasn't in on the planning; what I came home to was a complete surprise.

While I was gone, she had the whole house re-carpeted - downstairs, the stairs, and upstairs. Several light fixtures that hadn't worked properly for years were now fixed. The bathroom was re-floored and the walls were re-tiled. The living room furniture now included a grandfather clock - chimes and all - that my mother had given us six months prior but we had never found a good place to put it. She also found a place for an interior waterfall from my mother.

Though not as obvious, she had taken care of the exterior lights as well. The front door lights now function, and the garage door motion lights now detect motion. Evidently, over the years, a swarm of bees had been dwelling in our garage wall, and chewed (or buzzed or whatever bees do to wires) through the wiring. All of that is now replaced.

Due to the wonders of the International Date Line, September 17, 2009 lasted 40 hours for me. It was 8:00, but I was tired. I was hungry because American Airlines believes that all food should be marinated in several pounds of sugar before serving, and I preferred being hungry to eating a cup of sugar. But more and more, as I toured my own house, I found a new adventure every time I walked into a new room.

In three weeks' time, Cathy had taken care of several household projects it had taken me a decade to ignore.

It has been far too long.

10/11/07 was the last time I posted a blog here. That was soo long ago.

Sigh. Here I am now. Sitting at my computer wondering why I am writing this when I have a sh*t load of homework to do...

I guess I thought I should finally post something? i don't know. The only that really keeps me coming here is talking to Mel. I guess thats good. Coming back here i mean. I dont quite know myself.

Truth is, is that I have been incredibly busy and when I'm not i am relaxing and enjoying not being busy. Great isnt it? I know all you people do that too.

Man. After reading a couple of my last blogs it seems to me that I have really matured... kinda. At least on the internet. Haha. Gah. Now i just want to delete everything that ive ever posted and rewrite it again. Its bugging me. Looking back at it.. God i was high on suger or something. I dont know. lol.

What else? I've changed my About Me thingy. yeah that needed to be redone. I am updating some stuff on my profile.. so thats good.

Hmm. I guess thats it. Well don't be surprised if i dont post another one of these soon because... im still as lazy as ever!

Laters peoples.

Haven't blogged in so long...

That it feels almost relaxing to type here. I guess I've been using the myspace blog system, because then I can let people know about things.

At the same time, knowing that people I know can be reading what I say on myspace is somewhat scary.. My complaints that the boy that hasn't responded to me asking him out can be read by him, ans he could assume that I am desperate. You can see my point here.

Anonymity is pretty fun. Some of you know who I am, but not necessarily in real life. (That would be somewhat freaky, if that was true) So I'll try to get back to this.

On a side note, if you've been following my Ned's story, Guide to Choices, I have updated recently, so if you'd like to show some love to me, hit me up with a review about whether you love it, hate it or whatever....

Thankee

First Blog of 2009...For me obviously!

I realize Ihave become lazy when it comes to blogging but I do still come onto TV.com almost every day. So if you ever need to talk to me just pm me and I should respond within the next 24 hours no later than 48 unlesss I am on vacation or can't get to a copmuter for some reason.

Anyways, the Pittsburgh Steelers are back in the Super Bowl again. The just beat the Baltimore Ravens over an hour ago. They will face the Arizona Cardinals in what should be a good matchup. The PEnguins are struggling right now but just won today giving them two straight wins for the first time since November.

I watched SNL last night and it was a pretty good one, atleast in my eyes. I loved "Da Learnin Train" skit. If they could find someone to take over Rosarios's spot tand make it a semi-regular skit that could be a good one. Chuck is in the midst of a short break but it is still as addicting this season as it was in the previous one. Smallville is still going while Lost is getting ready for it's comeback. Can't wait. I caught both episodes of American Idol thus far and loved the Bikini Girl scene. Kara DioGuardi was really mad and started to sing and everything. Did anyone see Paula's face she looked like she was dead. She just sat there as if she was blind, deaf and paralyzed. I know she is nice an friendly but she is a strange banana. She always says or does some weird things, even if that doesn't count you can bet she'll do something else a little odd or embarassing if you know what I mean. For example last year when Simon's "Brother Forever" sang she got up and started break danceing while he was singing. I am excited for the show, nonetheless, and can't wait til they get to the Top 24 where I really get addicted.

That's it for my little ramble, Have a good one everybody...

Shipping Epfiny [insert paranormal music here]
But I seriously just had an epiphany (I would have separated this into paragraphs, but my computer doesn't feel all that complying right now and lord knows I don't know what it does half the time!*shrug*). *gong chimes in the background* Aaaaaaah. Anyway-- the fact of the matter is, I will always like Zutara a million times more than Kataang for a plethra of reasons. (Ooooo! ple-ther-ah!) If Zutara goes canon, I'll be ecstatic; if it doesn't, meh, fanon is what made this ship so popular in the first place and I will continue to enjoy it there. But now this entire "shipping war," it just makes me laugh! Ship bashing is about the most pathetic and amusing thing I've ever seen, in small doses! But in the long run, it widels down to just being pathetic . If the ship you're bashing was really as stupid/boring/impossible as you describe it, you wouldn't feel the need to bash it because it was actually so stupid/boring/impossible! (Am I breaking new ground or what? and I am guilty of all the above ) I'm not gunna stop shipping because I looooove relationships! But, honestly, their comes a point when you should be able to say "Hey, you like that pair, and I like this one and that's probably not gunna change. Why don't we just get along? Better yet, tell me what you like about your ship and I'll tell you what I like about mine. Who knows! maybe [insert ship here] isn't as [insert adjective here] as it seems!" I know there ae probably tons of people reading this going, "THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING SINCE THESE [censored] WARS STARTED!!! YOU LAME-OS!!!" and to you I say: soooooooorryyyyyyyyy ! Wow, I feel so enlightened! *is run over by steamroller*

Just stop reading the topic title and click. Now.

I promised I wouldn't come back until something groundbreakingly important happened.

And this is amazing. Neen showed it to me like 2 hours ago and I haven't stopped marvelling. So go read now. But... only if you're a Harry Potter fan, and happen to be intelligent and sarcastic and have a love of satire, like... well, like me.

Hope your lives are all going swimmingly

Shrek The Third=Disappointment
Well, the first Shrek was fabulous. The animation was amazing, hilarious jokes, and the best villian throughout all the movies. That's why people were so excited to see the second one, which once again delivered an excellent film. When I saw the trailer for the third, I wasn't too impressed. So, I go to the movie to check it out. I don't know why, but the movie did not deliver anything. I barely laughed, Prince Charming is back which sucks big time, and the animation was kinda lame. I hated Artie too. That guy annoyed the living crap out of me. The movie was very boring, and I don't reccomend it to anyone. My grade for Shrek The Third: D-

So Strap Me in a Harness . . .and Hoist Me Up To The Sky

The title is from FB #8...

As the majority of you know, I "left" TV.com in June. I wanted a clean break with the site and all things connected to it. It didn't really work, within a week I started my ritualistic "popping up." So here we are, 10 months later, and I still haven't achieved that clean break I wanted.

So this time, I'm doing it for real. As of 10pm tonight, I am getting my clean break. I just wanted to tell you all that it has been an amazing almost two years, even during the past 10 months when I've only been popping up occasionally. Thank you all for all the good times, and the bad times, because they were kinda more fun

I hope you all basically have very nice lives (cliché, yet true). Again, I command you all to see a modern Broadway musical (1996 or sooner, exceptions being Les Mis and Miss Saigon . . . okay, modern Broadway or something with Lea Salgona).

I will miss you all, don't question my reasoning behind this.

Love to All,

Neena

PS. In true me fashion, I must leave you with a Broadway quote. I could do something inspirational, but in the end, I just have to go with my favorite song of all time:

So if you care to find me

Look to the Western Sky

As someone told my lately

Everyone deserves the chance to fly

And if I'm flying solo

At least I'm flying free

To those who ground me

Take a message back from me

Tell them how I am defying gravity, I'm flying high

Defying gravity

And soon I'll match them in renown

And nobody in all of Oz, no wizard that there is or was

Is Ever Gonna Bring Me Down

(and if you are in LA and wish to fulfill my command, go see Wicked, Eden Espinosa is in it and she pwns all)

-Neena

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...Again

Hello. Sorry I havent been on. But I've had much fun with friend and families all summer.

So far I've been to two pokemon events they were the 10th anniverserry and the mew event. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have been release and so has the anime. I love both. If you want to check 4th generation pokemon go to pokejungle.net or serebii.net

Nintendo's wii is being released on November 19 of this year. I cant wait. These are the games I want at the releas: Red Steel, Need for Speed Carbon, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam and Ecxite Truck. If I get a 90% average on my roport card I can get it all. The Wii also looks awesome because of the iteractive play. No more couch potatoes.

This time I hope I can stay longer. I've seen funny stuff on youtube.com and stuff by weird al. Ill be sure to put it up. I've also seen the preview for Urban jungle and guess what...

1YEAR ANNERVESERY FOR THE TIME IVE FIRST BEEN A MEMBER!!!!!!!!!

The Death of XJ!

Well, I'm back from that one day suspension. TV.com suspended me for no reason. And they deleted my last Blog. If you didn't get to read it, it was about St. Jimmy being banned. So, anyway, I'm leaving TV.com. All I've been doing lately is talking to St. Jimmy by PM. But now that she's banned, what's the point? And I'm also obssesed with YouTube. My username is ..... you'll never guess this one ...... Xtremejet! So, good bye! I'll pop in to check my PMs and comment on Blogs.

Party In Peace: Xtremejet. July 15, 2005 - August 14, 2006.
