in two weeks I have an interview for an internship over skype.

for those who don't know me, I am a soon to be 20 year old girl who lives in Belgium. I am trying to get excepted to an organisation in the Bronx NY, to do my internship. at the moment I am a second year student in remedial teaching (not an exact translation of what I do, but close).

I was wondering if any of you have some sort of experience in this sort of things. following American standards during an interview should I be very confident of more humble? are there any other things I should keep in mind?

the organisation already has my resume, so they sorta know what is happening in my life.

basically I can choose the subject, the article/book I read about it and than I have to give my oppinion on it.

I thought I would do something on friendship or saying goodbye or something

here is where your help might come in handy, do any of you know any good philosophical texts that are actually interesting?

There has been this pattern in my life and I don't know if there is something I can do about it.

The thing is that allmost all my friends have something wrong with them,

my friends have all these things wrong with them, one lives on the other side of the world, one will have to move to the other side of the world in a couple of months, one has crones didease, one is anorexic, one has a mental condition which makes her make up stuff which she thinks are true, one ran away from home and resently her brother committed suicide, ones father just turned up after beeing missing for two days and he had left a note saying he couldn't cope with everything anymore, than there is all the stuff witch my dad, my mom developed heart problems three weeks ago, my sister is having a hard time with everything here at home,

do I attract trouble or something?

are there any normal people in the world?

it has been a while since I posted a blog on here again.

well to start off: my dad is doing a lot better, he is home know, but not at work. he tried rehab but he didn't like it. he got depressed and started putting the other patients up against the doctors, so they send him home. he isn't exactly like he used to be, but at least he is here, and not paralysed or anything. just his memory, concentration and moods have changed.

since this summer I started my second year at uni, I have just finished my internship at a mental hospital for kids and I passed. I had a lot of fun doing it and learned a lot. I really hope my school will let me go to America next year for my final internship. I would like to do it at abrahams house in NY.

And off course an other thing that has distracted me from the things that aren't going so good right now is the beginning off a new season off one tree hill. I am getting into the story once more and hope the strike gets resolved quickly so we get the full 21 or 22 episodes !!!

I have to go back to school now, and take lessons again, it is very different from working. I am sure that I will adjust quickly
