Roundtable.

The roundatble game in the WWE forums is out of control. Not because of the actions that have taken place, but because of the people. Some people...actually two people claimed that I got out of hand when I made a fake petition to remove Qfrodri as GM. I was attacked with the claims of me being ridiculous and not having a life. On the other hand, no one else had a problem with it. The reason I bring this up is because Cpman and Spideynerd have this miniature feud going on in which CPman created a fake account. While Cpman was partially wrong, Spideynerd blew the situation out of proportion. Now CPman is on the verge of getting banned, the Wrestlemania discussion thread is closed, and now we are going to be swamped with moderators. All of this could of been avoided if Spideynerd realized that this is a GAME, and dealt with this in a mature fashion. For him to go on a rampage and try to get CPman banned, an act in which he will most likely succeed, is pathetic and senseless. If this was an attack on Spidey's life, or him as a person I could understand, but it was an attack on his character in a game, something that Cpman admitted to. I am actually surprised that people are willing to take simple matters, and turn them into a catastrophic problem. Win, lose, or draw at Wrestlemanina I don't think I will continue to participate in a game where the most immaturity occurs with people being unable to separate a game from reality. When you play a video game with a friend and he says he is going to shoot you, do you call the authorities? When you play monopoly and someone makes the joke they are going to rob the bank, do you call the authorities? When you are playing a roundtable game and someone make a fake account saying he doesn't like you, why would you call the authorities? Am I comparing apples to oranges? I don't think so. What make's matters worse is the fact that this is the Internet. If you are offended by what goes on online, perhaps you should stick to socializing with people that you can see face to face. People where you can tell their emotions. Socializing with people where you can decipher sarcasm, from seriousness. It is hard to do that online, unless you have been around someone for a long time, in which you have grasp on what their personality may be like. If all of this should be judged by a wrestling forum; it's like judging someone at a football game. He's in the stand yelling, cursing and throwing a fit when the game is over he is a completely different person. Those of you who are willing to do something as pointless and senseless as that, should realize that internet socializing is not for you.

Hey!

I've decided it's time for another blog, since a lot has been happening lately.

I am just ready for the school semester to end. College life is great and all, but can be stressful at times. I am just happy I am majoring in an area that I enjoy studying, but maintaing good grades, and stable friendships can be harder than it appears in. Especially when you have to be the "go to guy." The guy that is the responsible one, don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. It sucks getting a phone call from a drunk friend at 2am in the moring asking for your to pick them up at some unknown location. It's especially hard to decipher the location when the words are being slurred, and the non stop giggling doesn't help. Ahh the things I do for my friends.

The semester is coming to an end, and professors seems to pile on the course load at the very end. I just recieved my research paper grade back. The topic was finding Christianity in Harry Potter. My rough draft was 5 pages, and my Research and Argumentation Professor said it was too thin. So I managed to make it into a 11 page research Paper. Glad to see my efforts panned out, seeing as I got an A-. Now she wants us to rewrite the papers, and fix grammatical errors, and add finishing touches. But this time she want's us to put the tracking on. Thats different , as I have never had a teacher tell me to use that. It should be quite the experience

Speaking of research papers. My American Govt professor decided that she wanted our final Paper to be on the Economic crisis that we and other nations are going through. All is fine, but she wants it to be 8 pages single space. Word to the wise, think twice before majoring in Political Science unless it's something you really want to do (like me )

My teams look real bad this year. The Rams players are always injured. And it appears as if we don't compete at all. That the only excuse for having a 72 point half time defecit, cummulative, over a 2 game span. The spurs have a legitimate argument. They are really banged up, and 2 of our biggest scoring threats, Manu Ginobli and Tony Parker, are out. No one should ever count the Spurs out. I think history has shown us that. All the other teams can have fun now, but the Spurs usually get the job done when it matters the most. So for now, I will take the back seat, and enjoy my role as the butt of all jokes. Just remember Karma is bi..h!!

Holiday season is fast approaching. By far my favorite time of year. I love the cold weather! Yes even in Florida it gets cold. It just sucks that it doesn't snow. Thanksgiving is less than a week away, and that means FAMILY! Family will be coming in town. They ask so0o0o0o0o0 many questions and most of them revolve around school. They usually repeat questions over and over again. Other than that, it's usually good getting to see family members. With Family usually comes drama...unfortunately. But at the end of the day, it's all laughter and joy. I guess that's why it's...Family!

*Speeps two cents: Enjoy life, and don't get down about things. Acknowledge that their are problems, but don't beat yourself up about them especially when the ball is not in your court. There is an answer to every problem. You will eventually find it. Sometimes the best answers are found, when you are not looking.

Thats all for now. Until Next time

Cheers, Speeps!

Rams, Greatest show on turf corrupted!

40-0 at halftime....47-3 final score. One would assume that thats the final score to a NCAAF game. In reality that was the score to a NFL game. Yes the National Football League, the league where players go to play a game they love, and try to win a championship. So who was a part of that 47-3 debacle? Well the St.Louis Rams and the New York Jets. The Jets ran all over the Rams, imposing their will from be beginning to end, quarter to quater, minute to minute, and the Rams in return let them. Why do the Rams suck well there are many culprits.

(1) Front Office
The Rams front office is filled with people who don't care about the team and know nothing about Football. Our Owner Georgia Frontierre died shortly after the Rams season ended last year and she left the team to her son Chip Rosenbloom a film maker in Los Angeles. Chip has stepped in and has already shown more interest into this team than the President and GM. He's made moves such as firing coach Scott Linehan, hiring Jim Hasslet, and taking the personnel power away from our corrupted GM and President. Our President John Shaw, has not been in attendance to a St.Louis Rams game in years. In fact, he has not done much for this team. Shaw is busy worrying about his retirement plans, and other funds. Where do the Rams rank on his list of priorites? One would assume somewhere closer to the bottom. So with the President MIA, all the power lies in the hand of our GM Jay Zygmunt. The man responsible for releasing Isaac Bruce, Kevin Curtis, Shawn McDonald, Grant Winstrom, and the drafting of Adam Archuleta, Trung Candidate, Trev Faulk, Damione Lewis, Brian Allen, Milton Wynn, Jimmy Kennedy, Dejaun Groce, Dan Curley, Shane Walton, and Tony Hargrove. All within the last 5 -7 years. Half of these players are sitting at home, and others are on teams but low on the depth chart, yet Jay believed that these players were the future of the Rams. Zygmunt was around during the Rams superbowl win, but he does not get credit for the moves made around that time. Those were decision of our head coach Dick Vermil. Over the last years the Rams has made good draft moves, but once again no credit goes to Zygmunt because those were decision of VP of personnel Bill Devaney. Zygmunt is a lawyer, that knew nothing about Football, yet he's running the place? He fired Mike Martz....DROVE Mike Martz out of St.Louis because Martz didn't want to be his friend and always butted heads with him on Personnel decisions. Zygmunt did various acts to get Martz out of St.Louis. Vermil, wanted Martz as his successor. Everyone knows Martz is an offensive genius...meaning he does nothing on defense. What do the Rams do? we sign Larry Marmie to fix our defensive problems (WHO?) Martz gets an infection and has to leave the Rams, leaving Joe Vitt as interim head coach. What does Zygmunt do, he bans Martz from talking to players, and coaches, and helping Vitt gameplan. He was not even allowed to return to work. After the season Martz was fired. Say what ever you want about Martz, he was a good coach, and lead this team to playoffs after playoffs and took us to the Superbowl. He was very different in the way he handled his timeouts and challenges, but at the end of the day, the Rams were winning. Martz gets fired, and Zygmunt hires SCOTT LINEHAN? Why? because Linehan would go out and grab a drink with Zygmunt. Fact is Linehan was not ready to become a head coach even though the team went 8-8 in his first season. That was in large part to the guys that were here in the Vermil-Martz era. Linehan and Zygmunt then does a house cleaning getting rid of guys like the doughnut brothers (Adam Timmerman and Andy McCullom) great guys on the offensive line and true leaders. Kevin Curtis and Shaun McDonald. Two young, up and coming WR's. Isaac Bruce our future Hall of Fame WR, Ryan Pickett, who is currently doing wonders on the Carolina Panthers defensive line. Brandon Chillar who is a starter for the Green Bay Packers at Linebacker. In return we brought in Drew Bennet to fix our WR issues? (Has been injured every year since he got here, has done nothing and we are paying him 30 million dollars) and a plethora of free agents to fix our offensive line? (too much to name in the Linehan era) Point is the Rams in 2008 are suffering from decisions made in the past. We have players starting that doesn't deserve to start, much less be on a team. Our offensive line can't hold a block. When our QB takes the snap, a D-Line man is usally in his face. Our offensive line gets so many penalties. If has been like this for years. What do the Rams do? we sign Jacob Bell in the offseason...and drafted rookies in late rounds. The Rams can get this thing turned around but in order for that to happen. Our front office must be a completely different one. At some point players has to be responisble for what happens on the field. But when you have a dysfuntional front office, head coach changes, coordinator changes, and position coach changes every year, there is no stability. The problem lies with our front office.

(2) Front office- See above!

*I just seriously needed to vent after that horrendous loss.

NFL teams compared to WWE Superstars

NFL compared to WWE Wrestles part 1

I'm kinda bored and I just saw something where WWE stars were compared to MLB teams so I have started one with the NFL.

NY Giants- Edge these two have been waiting in the wings to show that hey can carry the company, and win the big ones. they weren't always seen as someone who can be the champion and represent the company. they came out of nowhere and won the championship, something most believed they couldn't do until 2012 or couldn't ever do. They were always talented just like but always seemed to be held back. Now they are considered one of the best in the buisness.

New England Patriots- HHH whether you like them or hate them you have to respect the fact that they are one of the best in their buisness. They have the best that money can buy, and they learn from geniuses of their field. They always seem to be looming around the championship picture, and everytime they have an opponent in the big matches, they put on a classic. In the big moments they rarely lose, but when they do they elevate their opponents to the next level.

Indianapolis Colts- Rey Mysterio jr.- Every year they both seem to be there and have a reputation for having a unique and exciting offense. They always compete with the big dogs and usually pull out a victory. There was one time when they were both on top of their leagues, ever since then they've performed well, but can't seem to get back. It doesn't help the fact that recently they are becoming more and more injury prone.

Pitsburgh Steelers- The Undertaker. It's rare that either of these lose with out a fight. If they are going down, they are going to do so swinging. When they've made it to the big stage they're undefeated, and have history for being physical, and deadly strikers. Just when you think they are down and out they comeback, more often then none, they pull out a victory. When they are in their element, they are in control, however there are a few who have defeated them when they are on their turf.

St.Louis Rams- Mr.Kennedy. When you speak about these two talent is not a question, however durability and willingness is. They always seem to get injured at the wrong time, and something is always standing in their way from breaking out and showing the world what they can do. When they finally show a spark, or a sign of going to the next level, they always seem to fall right back to the starting point.

Tired of Triple H Haters

Source: Wrestlezone.com

Feature: Steve Anderson is Tired of Triple H Haters By:Steve Anderson

Hating Triple H is a popular sport. Actually, it has been for going on for nearly a decade. He is a favorite punching bag. He is a heat magnet.

He is a master politician. And I don't mean that in a negative way.

Look at his WWE career. He was, at best a mid-card performer when he debuted in that silly, bowing snob gimmick. He was de-pushed and punished following the '96 MSG Incident (I hate that overused term as much as the "Calgary Screwjob"). After he served his sentence, he led DX in a war against WCW and became a major player in the launch of the attitude era.

By 1999, he was WWE champion and has held that title (including the World Heavyweight championship version) multiple times.

His detractors, and there are many, say that he got where he is today by working the system, marrying the boss' daughter, and man*pulating like a master politician.

There's that term again...master politician.

Those who know the business fully realize that the cream does not always rise to the top. The best ring performers do not always get the main event push, nor do they always wear a championship belt. That is not to say that the wrestling/sports entertainment business is not about talent. It is. But it is also about marketability and the ability to politic.

Triple H has that skill and it has brought him great success.

Hardcore fans seem to blanch at the idea of anyone ascending to a higher level based on politics. That attitude is based on ignorance. Politicking is how you get anywhere in a major company and it is especially true in the wrestling business. Sidling up to the right people can make all the difference in the world.

This is a business that pushes the son of so-and-so and the wife/father/mother of such-and-such. Not based on talent necessarily, but sometimes on association and/or DNA. That's how the system works.

In the mid-nineties, Trips associated with the infamous Clique. Smart move? Most definitely. He knew where his bread would be buttered. It gave him the inside track that he needed. And he backed it up with talent and charisma. When he streamlined his gimmick away from the blueblood snob, he got over with the fans.

Which brings me to my second point. Like it or not, Triple H is over with the casual wrestling fans. Hardcores may despise him, but your run-of-the-mill fan that just enjoys the show instead of picking nit love the guy. That is WWE's bread and butter and a vast majority of wrestling's devotees. The fans who are not interested in backstage machinations, but what they see in the arena or on TV.

Finally, this whole conspiracy theory that Triple H only married Stephanie McMahon to advance his career is downright asinine. Does anyone honestly think that any or all members of the McMahon family wouldn't see through this ruse? Do you really believe that Triple H would enter a marriage based on being world champion, knowing full well that if he ever crossed and cheated on his wife, he was done for?

Gee, maybe he loves his wife. Ever think that? Pollyanna-like view, maybe, but it could be true.

Ok, maybe he wants to put himself over to the detriment of younger performers. Maybe he won't sell. Maybe he uses his backstage influence to get himself and his friends main event pushes.

Is it right? Is it fair?

Those points are moot. Pro wrestling is not about what is right or fair. It's what puts asses in seats. It's whom you know. And if you can back it up with talent and heat, so much the better. That's what Triple H does.

Love him or hate him.
