As for good college to do MTech other than NITs and IITs... I think Univ. like JNTU, ANNA and others would be cool, BITS, VIT and other few are good Univs I know but dont know what exactly they have and how to get there

Working in small projects during MTech always adds a nice experience factor while getting a job

But these are only decided by you , see what is best for you and do it

As for that girl..
well yeah if she is good looking and well natured then go for her . but also remember that you will be leaving soon, so dont get too attached to her

@Indzman thanks for reply I am looking forward for the best option so to get maximum money in say 7-10 years and then go for my own bussiness. PG can ensure good money I think and better knowledge. @ Reetesh I will be trying JNTU, BITS-pilani and Ranchi , VIT also PUNE GEC, VJTI, MANIT(Bhopal NIT), Varangal NIT are within my reach. I can good branches in these colleges I a thinking for going for them. @_overdose Yeah you are right abt doing work and more qualified but its important that you get a promoted in your job and while working you do a part time degree which is not as good as regular courses they can give you more benefit in long run. One of my friends relative had to spend near abt 8 years for getting to a Manger post after Part time MBA whereas those who do it from regular MBA colleges get the result immediately.

Abt that girl she is good natured and quite popular in the college but she doesnt looks good but thats not the problem I never saw her that way I think if I will not give her any impression that I like her she will understand it and leaving college is not a big matter she has been selected in NTPC so she will be a 1st grade officer when she completes her BTech. Told you she was good student but that doesnt mean that I like her for that althoguh I would like to be a friend of her but no I cant even think of anything more than that.

Dont worry abt the girl I always look for the first grade product and i think I am going for placemnet and from there I will do ExecutiveMBA , the company has promised me to give a upgradtation after that and the pays of guys who have bene for around 7 yrs after BE/Btech is 10-12Lakhs/yr so thats good, I will also do some side bussines too like Computer shop etc. my main aim is to become a enterpenur so that although i might not be programmer in gaming world I will be a producer.
So I am going for more money approach.

Yes Reetesh, I did programming earlier now I am more like a artist I seek how to make games better by applying aesthetics and music I have not done programming from 2 years although I know C, C++. But I am better in drawing sketches and I know some tricks to make beautiful character even out of basic shapes like rectangle and circle by giving proper design to them.
But I have few friends who know a lot abt programming so I would be coupling up with them to make a new project but it keeps on delaying due to sem work.

I didnt palyed ICO actually played and finsihed Shadow of Colossus and it was really technical benchmark for PS2, at the time of ICO I was not having PS2. I like FF and a lot Japanese games due to their artwork, Capcom is my favouratie their art work has a lot of fusion.in western games Epic, Valve, Naughty Dog, Rare, Insomanaic are doing great but Valve has the lead. Because Source Engine is really based on focussing aeshtitcs they use low polygon model with high quality colorful and perfectly saturated shaders so it makes it real also their animation works solid the kind of facial animation they do is amazing. Valve has made such engine that you need to type words and charcater lip syncing is done automatically. That is why idtech4 has got old while Source enigne still continues.

Oh, definitely play ICo man, it has aestethic beauty written all over it BTw it was supposed to be a PSone game first and it looked awesome for a Psone game too. See vid here

And dude, did you play the Sly cooper games by sucker punch? their games are some of the most colour games out there, and look very vivid and amazing when you play :d its like playing in a colouring book. the animation and detail in characters is also very high in those games.

ANd yeah the Source engin rocks man, with all the things you said and even in R&C and Jak and Daxter games you could see great graphics and lip syncing and character emotion in games. you've got a nice taste man

My PS2 is dead told you abt friends of mine who took it for somtime and playe dit like 18 hours a day for 1 month regualr wiht no care. I will be reapiering it up. I have played R&C 3 it was shooter type it was gameplay was great. Graphics where OK although artsyle was top notch and frame rate was solid, but Jak3 looked cool it looked really great and the environment was seamless but after a few mission it went on getting harder and harder it was becoming more like unplayable. I mean after that gliding misson I almost stopped playing it. Although one of my Junior said that Jak 2 was excellent better than Jak3 in all accounts its available at local Sony World for 499 but my PS2 isnt working.
Yeah never tried Sucker Punch games. Heard abt them although. I will play them since I satrting my project and I am making agmes of single layer textures so this basically leaves me off with no bump mapping so I will see PS2 games as per how implement single layer texture with the best. Also you might not be seeing me active but I am busy on project I searching for free game engine and 3D modelers I am thinking to go for no piracy way for making games also photoshop I use is open source or free ware. I will be reporting in a week time abt the my work Software I will be using and also my 7th sem result will be on Monday I will be teling abt that too. I am seeking for making titles withminimum programming if I choose last gen style game that could be the way to do so, also I am having a FX5200 on my Desktop and Laptpo has a 8600 so I will be seeing as per too make the game run on FX5200 with 512 MB of RAm ( I would like to pull of texture).

I also have UE2 at my disposal but I will not be using it since its copied but I think its actually the sandbox editor from UT 2003.

Ah sorry, forgot that your PS2 broke :S. Dude, you should have played in order 1,2,3 because that will also show you how they started getting to know of the hardware and improved the games. R&C 3 also has a lot of comedy though, its keeps the game going and well, Jak3 wasn't that hard man, I played it when I was 16 or something, it was nice and enjoyable just give it a shot, I hope you played the Dino Hunting and other parts

Jak2 was more atmospheric than Jak3 and had some of the best levels I saw, ever. but its gameplay was not as good as Jak3 though, because there was a lot of Point a to B driving and also the traffic in that was ______

Anyhoo, give your Ps2 for repair or something it will surely be worth it

Yeah I was reparing it myself but I am giving it to techncian now, my disastorious friends are paying me for all repair cost. Anyways the problem is not big the disk doesnt spin I think the problem is that there is a button underneath which is pressed when lid is shut doen(slim PS2) so disk starts rotating I think there is a disturbance in this mechanism.

Also I am doing the project it was hauled bit during the Holi period but now I will go for it agian, so start it from Monday I am using Blender as game engine and I am searching for a free 3D modleler which can make charcter instanly so I dont have to take pain in creating them and thankfully a lot of them are available. Lets see a lot of people have been saying that games with PS2 like technology are easy to make now but lets see how easy is it actually. Thats why I selected to use single layer texture and low specs to reduce burden also I have a really good script in mind yeah and have Junior (one who otld abt Jak2) and another ET&T student of my college is ready to work but I have to start first. My exams are going to began in a month but after studing for GATE I can complete a subject in 1-2 days only. So thats not a big problem.

Cool, I have a friend who was crazy about blender He sat for months together on it and did somethings, and now is planning on moving onto Maya etc etc.

I think you should get more qualified first, because once you get a job and start making money, you may not want to study anymore then. But if you need the money now then you should work.

@ Dark Neo Bahamut: You are right but I am already a graduate but so if I wish to go for Engineering education continuation is the best option but I am thinking of taking MBA part time MBA is much easy compared to MTech so I can do it along with job. Also my company is offering me EMBA for free so thats a good option to go for.
