This World

This World of ours...

Is a world of everything.

It can hold many secrets untold, many things unsaid, many thoughts unspoken.

It can hold many wounds unhealed, many holes not patched, and many hearts not happy.

It has sorrow and fear, coldness and despair.

But this world can be a happy one.

It can hold many laughs laughed, many joys fufilled, many great thoughts told aloud.

It can hold many wounds healed over time, many holes patched up from the past, and many people with happy hearts.

It has happiness, laughter, healing and love.

It is you that can choose which world to live. The one filled with sorrow, fear, coldness and despair, or the one filled with happiness, laughter, healing and love.

You can choose to hurt others, either physically or emotionally, either temporary or permanant, or you can choose to help those who have been hurt, either by getting them through a tough time, or putting a bandaid on a scraped knee.

Everything you do has an impact on how you will live your life.

There are no shortcuts. No backroads, no secret passageways.

You can turn to drugs, alcohol and sex for comfort, or you can turn to family, friends, and people that you trust. You can turn your back on everything you believe, or you can follow your faith blindly with all your heart. You can be unwilling on whether to walk the whole journey, or you can walk the whole way, knowing that you're loved and supported throughout everything.

You can follow your heart, mind, body and soul, and do what you know is right, or you can follow the things that you want to do; the things that you know are wrong

By the actions you take and the choices you make, you decide what road to take, what path to follow, what life to lead.
