Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The movie was awesome. I loved the fighting sequences (something we are beginning to see more of now). The characters are developing really well, and it is nice to see them all grow and become mature. It makes it seem as though we are a part of the story and visiting Hogwarts each year with them.
Everyone already knows the story so there is no need for summaries. But you should definately go out and watch this while its still on the big screen. Tonight we are going to see in on IMAX and in 3D and I bet it is going to be amazing.
I cannot wait!
Mario 64: Finally Beaten
Yesterday, me and my girlfriend (together) finally beat Mario 64. I say finally because I had owned the game when it was on the Nintendo 64 back in 1996, but I was to young (i guess) to understand what I was suppose to be accomplishing. But after playing the game for about a week or two (probably only 5-6 hours of gameplay) we finally beat the game. We didn't complete the game though. We still have alot of stars to find and one more hat too.
Overall the game was really fun and enjoyable. The controls were easy for everyone (both my girlfriend and I had it mastered within ten minutes) and the goals were challenging, but fun.
The only thing I would say I disliked about the game is that it costs 1,000 ($10) Wii Points (half the amount of a Wii Point Card).
But I suppose since it is a great game, it is money (Wii Points) well spent.
Transformers: The Movie

This morning I finally got to see the Transformers movie. I also got the pleasure of watching it in DLP - Digital Projection. The movie itself was amazing and the DLP made it more enjoyable.
The special effects and audio were amazing. The movie was fun and exciting. There was even a scene of an XBOX 360 transforming, though it never left the box (the box was shaking, which implied it had come to life). The new Chevy Camaro in the movie was beautfil and made me want one (who wouldn't want one).
The movie featured awesome special effects, sweet cars, crisp audio, and a great cast. I highly recommend everyone to see this movie on the big screen.
I may even watch it a second time.
Halo 3

I just preorded my copy of Halo 3. I preordered the Limited Edition ($69.99) from Circuit City, because you apparently get a 4' wall graphic if you reserve it through them. I do not want, nor need the Legendary Edition of the game because: for starters the thing is too expensive, and second I do not need all that extra stuff (eg. the cat sized replica helmet). But anyway, this is the first time I preordered something from Circuit City and I am kind of skeptical. I am not to sure if they will have enough graphics, or games to accomidate all preorders. But as long as I get one I don't care how many they get.
Wish me luck!
