Countin' Down the Days...
Anyway...I just can't wait until the return of Stephanie March!!! It will be nice to get a break from Greyleck, even though I was starting to get used to her. I also can't wait until the new episodes start next week.
10 Days and Counting....
Graduation, Maine, Orientation
Holy crap this has been the busiest week ever, and it just keeps going!
Last Saturday I finally graduated from high school!! Wa-hoo! The funniest part about it was while the teachers were reading the names to recieve the diplomas the power went out
Then after graduation, we had our grad party where it's just a fun and chill time and pretty much the last time you get to see everyone before college.
After the grad party (which ended at 5am after it started at 9pm) my family and I were headed to Maine for the week, and boy does it suck to be back home. Maine was nice 65 degree weather with the ocean being about 51 degrees and then comming back to Conn. it was 90 degrees and muggy and sticky as hell.
Now on Monday I leave to go for freshman orientation for college. And I am so worn out that it just sucks, on the one day that I have to relax, my f*ckin boss wants me to work. Oh well, you take the good you take the bad.
The thing that sucks about being on vacation is you miss all of the good stuff. It's nice to see that we've finally declared our new ADA, it sucks that detective Logan is leaving, and my Fresno State boys one the college world sereies!!
Well, thats all for now, but hopefully I will find time and keep up with all of the spoilers and big news. Hope everyone is doing well ![]()
12 Days....
Court House Field Trip...
So, for my business law class we took a field trip to one of our local district courts. Let me tell you it was pretty hard not to think of SVU. We got to sit in the holding cells for a good 45 minutes while one of the prosecutor's told us some funny/serious crime stories that they have seen. I volunteered to be put in shackles and handcuffs, and let me tell you it's the most uncomfortable thing you can image, they hurt SOOO bad!!!
The judge talked to us, and a public defender talked to us as well. We got to see some real cases get tried, but this was just a minor courthouse, so it was mostly domestic violence, robbery, and DUI cases.
There was one case that was a domestic violence issue with the father beating their kids, so his wife wanted a restraining order put against him. I couldn't help but think what Liv or Elliot would have done to the guy that was beating his kids.
But, yeah all in all it was one of the best experiences that I have had in my life.
