God of War

When I first rented God of War, I had no idea what to expect. I check out alot of reviews and footage of the game, and all I pretty much knew was that it is based off of Greek Mythology, the main character's name is Kratos, and he is on a quest to murder the God of War. The opening cut-scene really intrigued me, which made me want to play even more to find out what really happened to Kratos before he lost his sanity. The game is VERY brutal and it shows more nudity than I have ever seen from a Mature rated game. The controls are incredibly responsive and context sensitive. I remember already being able to 'pwn the basic undead soldiers in the first area of the game. Kratos is just very acrobatic, and more savage and mericless than Snake from MGS3, and CJ from San Andreas. When I finally beat the game, I thought back and said, "Damn! Now that was an awesome experience!". I strongly encourage both, casual AND hardcore fans of action/adventure genres to go pick this one up at your local game store.
