Sorry for taking so long to finish up this list. But here is my favorite game of the decade. First off, a recap of 10-2:
10. Metal Gear Solid 4
9. Call of Duty 4
8. World of Goo
7. Grand Theft Auto IV
6. Valkyria Chronicles
5. God of War II
4. Mass Effect
3. Uncharted 2
2. Chrono Cross
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

As stated in my thoughts on Mass Effect, Bioware are master storytellers. Take that talent and add in the Star Wars universe and you have KOTOR. But what's so great about the game is that you don't have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy it. It's a well-crafted RPG with a riveting plot, an excellent cast of characters, and a fun combat system. Being a big Star Wars fan certainly doesn't hurt though. Using force powers and wielding a lightsaber is easily one of the most thrilling things I've ever done in a video game.

Hope you enjoyed taking a look at my favorite video games of the decade. Happy holidays everyone!![]()
As some of you may know very well, I love my Zune. My Ugly Little Zune 30 (Well it had a 100 GB drive in there...) dieda couple of weeksago which made way for my Zune HD to get some more attention. And as a current iPhone owner, I can't wait for Microsoft to turn the HD into a full fledged phone. The UI is more fluid and honestly makes more sense than anything Apple has been doing. Plus the sound quality of the Zune HD is even better than previous Zune hardware. To add insult to injury about Apple, the Zune 30's sound quality is still superior to anything Apple has out now. Another great thing about using my Zune is how I don't have to use iTunes. The only reason I have iTunes is to back up my phone and install updates (Which are incredibily painful to do). I hate to sound like I am bashing Apple, but I can't understand how a product with better software and hardware still can't take marketshare away from Apple which it's only saving grace is that it's a Brand name.
Since I have been using my Zune HD more often, more and more people have been noticing it when I break it out. And most people that have toyed with mine are considering it or bought one. Only big thing the unit is missing is Apps. Which I can live with. I don't get to play too many on my iPhone because the battery life is awful. Any other Zune users out there?

So after being a member of GS for over 5 years now, I've finally managed to hit the prestigious level 30
It may be the fact that for about 2 years I completed stopped signing into GS for reasons of being super lazy and not really having as much time on my hands as I do now. I've seen many users that have only been here for way less than me who are above my level
but I've finally made it. Now it's time to actually start updating my game collection and my page altogether.
A lot of things has changed since the last time I posted something here. I am still attending school, and everything is going pretty well there. I passed my mid-point review, so that means I am 50% done with the program. I have also become involved with a few comic projects, and they have kept me busy.
Other than tons of work, there is really nothing new to report. So, hopefully I will get to play some games and write a review or something... but my interest in video game has dropped considerably... games just don't seem to be all that fun any more. I guess when you are constantly worrying about other things, such as work, then there is really no way to relax and enjoy a video game.
I just bought a new boat and decided to take 'er for the maiden voyage this past weekend.
This is my first boat and I wasn't quite sure of the exact Standard Operating Procedures for launching it off a ramp, but I figured it couldn't be too hard.
I consulted my local boat dealer for advice, but they just said "don't let the trailer get too deep when you are trying to launch the boat".
Well, I don't know what they meant by that as I could barely get the trailer in the water at all!
The stupid truck would die and start floating before the trailer even got close to deep enough!
What am I doing wrong? Should I load the truck down with some lead or maybe rocks so it doesn't float?
Anyhow, here's a picture. See for yourself. What am I doing wrong?

Hey guys ![]()
Yeah, I had a pretty hectic junior year, which is the most intense one in my school. I had to take the SAT, ACT, and some AP tests. I'm not getting ready for finals which are this week. I think I'm gonna be active again this summer, since I'm gonna be a senior next year, and all I have to do is college apps and essays.
Well guys, I'll drop off next week after hell is over (aka this week)
So yeah, I was pretty much gone all year. What series do you think I should watch this summer, when the so called time comes back to my life, lol
The last series that I watched were kara no kyokai and the new evangelion movie. I also dl the new
studio gibli movie, but never got to see it.
So guys recomendation time!
I hope that not many have forgotten me

well after my vga dropped dead i haven't been much in to gaming, getting a new vga (or rather a new pc) is not even under consideration coz i dont feel like playing games anymore... why? sa-nay..
i wanted to start TES3... but the only game im plaing these days is Naruto - The Setting Dawn... damn its sooo difficult on "easy" n the only character i can properly play with is Shikamaru. If you haven't heard of it before then search it on google, its quite good and is based on the little fighter 2 engine.
on the other hand im still watching anime
I'll finish it here coz somehow it seems that GS aint allowing me to write more
luckily i found a note with with my gamepot login on it and now i'm back ^^
alright so what happened so far:
i finally had some time to watch anime. watched claymore ... was not bad but some scenes were annoying and towards the end they put too many flashbacks ... kinda reminded me of naruto. also watched bastard ... was not bad either
... i didn't expect much since its rating was not very high but it had its moments. after that i watched darker than black ... nice story although a little confusing ... good animation only the character drawings looked cheap sometimes. and at last i watched the kino no tabi animes ... 2 movies and the tv series. that was a pretty good anime ... it had interesting little stories about different countries.
on other news i finally ordered another 2 hdds ... again samsung spinpoint f1 with 1TB ... i only filled the first drive with 500gb so far but i have a lot of stuff on dvds. i'm also trying to categorize the drives by rating which means that high rated anime are on drive 1 and low rated on drive 3. the drive i already have is my drive 2.
i also need to finish my anime program ... which is supposed so scan the drives and get me a list of the (sub)folders which are the anime names and . and then its supposed to assign the list to the drive . so in the end i have like a search prog for my animes so i know on what drive is the specific anime. and i need taht because the drives are not connected my pc. so far i only have the frame done and some dropdown menus and buttons
I'm gonna be taking some time away from the blogs and stuff here...i mean, i might post, but they'll be a lot like the posts i've been making. current events have me needing to do a lot of organizing, thinking, and other stuffs.
so i'll post whenever i feel like it, and i might make the occasional comment. take it easy, all
Don't listen to Gamespot's review. This game is extremely fun. Let me address a few things mentioned in the review.
1) Uncomfortable playstyle.
Gamespot said that you can't play but one or two songs without having to take a break because your hand starts to hurt. This is true. But what's defined as a "break"? To most people, 10-15 minutes is what's considered a break from a game. Quite the contrary in this game's case. All you have to do is remove your hand from the grip, move your wrist around for less than 5 seconds, and you're good to go again.
2) Poor sound quality.
Being an owner of both the OUENDAN games and Elite Beat Agents, I can say GH:OT's sound quality is about even with those games. And yet reviews for both games are entirely different. The review for EBA doesn't even mention sound quality, but sound is given a 9. And yet, in the GH:OT review, sound quality is just about the only thing that matters with the game and it is described as "listening to an AM radio".
3) Game is too short.
Is the game too short? Well, if you bought a console version of the game and it only had 26 songs, yes, it's way too short. But you have to think of what system it's on. The DS. Again, look at EBA, the game got an 8.9 and yet it had 7 songs fewer than Guitar Hero did. It's a DS game, of course it's not going to have a lot of songs.
In short, don't listen to the review. Pick up the game. It's lots of fun.

most men like me would go wild and get drunk and or buy a new car or sleep around. but i can't do any of these because it's not in my nature if anything the gamer and pc side of me says NEED A HOT NEW PC and i dubbed it Soundwave.
I got the Ace Attorney 3 in the mail and beat it like all the other ones insanely fast because of the addictive gameplay and the amazing storytelling. Here are my thoughts on the trilogy and the three games that make it.
What is the worst game in the trilogy?
After playing the 3 games in the series, the one that I could look back on with confidence and say that the Ace Attorney 2: Justice for All is the worst one. While I admit that the storytelling improves quite a bit and the cases overall have more twists and turns, it is disjointed. I look at the game and each case really has no connection with each other and it makes the second game feel more episodic and with less cohesion. The game also has a distinction of having the worst cast of the Phoenix Wright games, with most of the new cast being forgettable. It also stands that it does have the worst soundtrack in the series with some exceptions. With that said, it has Case 4, which is one of the best cases ever.
What is the best game in the trilogy?
My statement is almost predictable in what I think is the best in the trilogy, it is without a doubt Ace Attorney 3: Trials and Tribulations. The game smashes the second game into pieces and stampedes over the original game. The storytelling is an evolution of the second game and it is a huge improvement. The opening sequence doesn't do a "phoenix wright" anymore and presents the killer, instead showing more about the event which leads to more questions than answers. The original game was great because it presents a bunch of court cases, with the audience being pleasantly suprized with the connection between Case 2 and 3. The third game steps it up 10 notches because 3 out of the 5 cases have to do with each other, with much stronger ties with the previous game. The game feels far less episodic and more like a coherent VERY EPIC storyline. The cast of characters is easily the best in a Phoenix Wright game, the new characters aren't forgettable, very likable and have personality to spare. If you don't know who Viola, Iris, Dahlia, Mask DeMasque, and Bikini you will know when you play the game. It also has case 4 and case 5, which is fanservice heaven, I don't mean "fanservice" in panty shots, but fanservice in terms of characters, events and storytelling. The music is also easily the best in the series by a long shot. The game is also known because it has what is easily the most evil villain to ever grace a Phoenix Wright game, the only way they could beat this is if they put someone even more twisted in the next trilogy.
What would be the best case?
The most intense case in the game Franchise is Case 4 from Ace Attorney 2: Justice for All. From the beginning to the end it was as intense as watching a space shuttle launch or a roller coaster going at 120 mph. It is the most intense one, but not the best one. The best one is without a doubt Case 5 from Ace Attorney 3: Trials and Tribulations. Case 5 has the strongest storytelling and some of the best character development in the series. It answers all the unanswered plot holes from the frist two games, and it is fanservice galore with the best of the best in the cast helping Phoenix Wright go through the saga. In Japan the title is appropriately known as "Magnificent Turnabout" but the english title is poorly named "Bridge to Turnabout" hopefully this gets fixed in the USA edition, since they are allegedly fixing many problems with spelling. The case also features what is the MOST EVIL character to ever grace the saga. It also gives a huge sense of closure with the storyline and gives you a warm a fuzzy feeling.
Other Thoughts
Phoenix Wright
- The Easiest game in the franchise and has one of the stronger soundtracks in the franchise.
- It was also the shortest when you don't count case 5.
- Edgeworth was the main character of development in the game
Ace Attorney: Justice for All
- Worst game in the franchise, felt more episodic.
- Worst soundtrack in the franchise
- Worse cast of characters.
- Much harder than Phoenix Wright.
- The main point of character development is the Fey Family
Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations
- Easily the best in the franchise, the tight knit storytelling also makes it the most epic.
- It is the hardest game in the franchise
- Ironically, it is the only Ace Attorney game I ever played where case 2 and 3 are harder than the last two cases.
- It also uses the Psyche locks a lot more naturally and it flows more than the second game
- It has the best cast of characters and villains
- The main point of character development is Mia, Phoenix, and the Fey Family
- It is also the longest of the Phoenix Wright games.
Just finished it at....2:08am. Enjoy, and comment with your thoughts.
Hey everyone...I know it's been a long time since I've even logged onto gamespot, but for good reason. I am no longer kyles_ducky...haven't been since Sept. 2005. And it's a good thing too...we just didn't seem to get along anymore.
In October 2005, I met my beau, Jeff and we've been together since. I wouldn't have even come on here if it wasn't for something being sent directly to my hotmail...I had over 300 messages to be read, and SO many offers to become leader/officer, and invites to join groups and I appreciate it. I don't want to get rid of this account because I'm at level 10, but in order for me to move on from my past, I must delete this account.
Thank you all,
My new GS account name is sweetie1986...please add me if you'd like. See you there!
Hey everyone,
Now that I've started to post on my blog more regularly, I don't think I'll be keeping you guys updated on here very often. If you'd like to keep up to date with my blog, you can subcribe here. Bye for now,
Taylor
Hey all how are you doing.
Its been a long time since I have posted here on Gamespot and so I will give you all an update.
With our sad loss of our beloved Toffee is Janurarymy parents and I have been recovering quite well and we are talking about getting a new puppy after our much needed Vacation in California. Disney Land to be exact. That is if I get the time off for it. But things do change and I hope I will get to experience what my sister experienced when she went there before me.
I have been busy with work as always but strangely enough I have been asked regarding the character Gravedigger once more. Strange how a character like that is still talked about and so he will return and what impact he will make I'm not sure yet but he may just sit on the sidelines until he can get his edge back.
So for those who know what I'm talking about he will return and he will create such a impact that even I wont know what it is until it happens.
So good talking to you all and be safe during your spring break unless you already had it.
