Favorite Shows on Tv

Hello, tv.com.

It has been too long, hasn't it?

What is everyone up to? I have been sick for a week, but slowly getting better.

Anyway, I wanted to do another blog, it has been forever.

I'll do another list, which is what I love doing most.

My 35 favorite shows on tv.(as in, shows that haven't ended yet)

How many of these are you watching?

35. Damages

I have never liked this show as much as the average critic.
But it is a great show that I still need to catch up on. Eventually, but it isn't a show that I NEED to see.

34. Being Human

One of the few British shows that I have ever truly liked.
What is taking Season 2 so long?

33. Hung

Still need to catch up on this show, but is it good? Absolutely.
Humor is very awkward, which doesn't appeal to everyone, but it does to me.

32. Family Guy

Haven't watched this one in a while, but it is a great show for when you are bored.

31. Medium

Haven't bothered watching the new Season yet.
Quite frankly, it is a great show but it is time to end it already.

30. The Tudors

Pretty much the guilty-pleasure version of 'Rome'.
Is it worth watching? For sure, if not just for it's sexiness and great outfits.

29. Man Vs. Wild

Gotten a little tired of this one, but Bear Grylls never gets boring.

28. 30 Rock

A little too American, but I certainly understand the hype.
Best comedic cast on tv, for sure.

27. The Simpsons

This show never gets old. 21 Seasons old? Damn.

26. Nurse Jackie

One of the best new shows of the year, Edie Falco blows me away with her great performance.

25. Weeds

The humor on this show is getting worse, whilst the drama is only getting better.
It is being dragged on longer than it should have, but it is still worth watching.

24. Rescue Me

This show is like a roller coaster ride, it has big highs and big lows and little in-betweens.
But the occasional great performances and unique story makes it unforgettable.

23. Nip/Tuck

Pretty much the exact same thing as Rescue Me.
But season six, which will be the series' last, is proving to be as dark and as memorable as the first three seasons so far.

22. South Park

A show that has gotten a bit too old, but is it still entertaining? You betcha.

21. Skins

Too high on the list? Pretty much.
But when the show is good, it is pretty heartbreaking.

20. Survivor

In it's 19th Season, and still going on strong.
The only reality show that I would recommend to anyone.

19. Epitafios

I am probably the only person here that will ever watch this show.
It airs on Latin HBO, which means that it is all in Spanish. Pretty awesome.

18. The Office

Behind on this one, mainly because I do not like it as much as during it's first three seasons.
But it is still one of the best comedies on tv.

17. Entourage

I am not yet caught up with this one, but I have been watching episodes here and there and loving it more the more I watch it.

16. In Treatment

I am still not finished with it's first Season.
Why? I do not know. Honestly, I loved what I saw of it. Excellent show.

15. Lost

The show has changed so much, and I don't think that it's as smart or nearly as touching as it used to be.
It actually feels like just another action-y show instead of a powerful, supernatural drama.
Hopefully Season 6 gives it the right send off.

14. Robot Chicken

One of the best ways to kill time.
It can be hit-or-miss-y, but for the most part, it is pure unconditional entertainment.

13. True Blood

What is not fun about this show? It has sex, gore, supernatural people, and decent writing and performances.
The best guilty pleasure on tv. period.

12. Party Down

Probably overrating this show that almost nobody has ever even heard of.
But I love it. I love the characters, the cast, the GUEST STARS(!!!), the humor. It is one of those shows you just simply love.

11. Bored To Death

If I would ever write a comedy, it would be something like this.
Just extremely dry, and probably lame. It's hilarious and akward, I love it.

10. Friday Night Lights

Season 4 is starting all over again, half the cast is gone and the show is just better than ever.

09. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

Currently going through it's worst Season yet, but it could still recover.
The people on this show are horrible low-lives, what's not to love?

08. Modern Family

Still very fresh and new, but already loving this one.
The cast is superb, with the likes of Ed O'Neill and Ty Burrell.
It has two Colombian characters and the dialog is sharp and histerical. One of the best comedies in a long time.

07. The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency

My favorite new show that aired this year.
So far, still has not been renewed or cancelled. Hopefully it does get a second season, because it was a true African gem.

06. Big Love

This show has only been getting better and better.
It has gotten better than I ever though it could get. Gut-wrecking and occasionally hilarious.

05. Flight Of The Choncords

The world needs more Folk, I demand it!
As of now, whether Season 3 will happen is still unsure. HBO wants them back, but the Conchords are not convinced yet.
Here's hoping they do at least one more season.

04. The Venture Bros.

Best. Animated show. Ever. Period.
I love everything about this show. It is epic, freaking histerical, has one of the best voice-acting, excellent set of characters, and a better written and less confusing mythology than Lost.

03. Breaking Bad

Bryan Cranston really carries this show, his performance reminds me of the Deadwood cast, it is that good.
The show is very thrilling without being cheap, you never know what will happen next.

02. Dexter

Season 4 is doing what I didn't think was going to be possible.
It is making me love and fear this show even more. This Season's villain, The Trinity Killer, is almost as freaky as Twin Peak's Bob.
What a great ride this show has been.

01. Mad Men

What can I say about the show that hasn't been said already?
It is a work of art, every single frame is. I can just pause any episode and still be amazed by what I see.
I love that about this show. There is a group of people that will never get what I mean, but if you are into art, you should be able to understand.

33 Favorite Characters On Tv

Hey you guys, there are still 6 open spaces if you want to play my Survivor game.
I need to start the game as soon as possible so I would love whomever signs up. Please, before it is too late.

Now on to my new list.

I'm only picking them on current opinions, not on the overall picture (so, pretty much on how much I liked them in their last or current Season)

33. Andy Botwin (Weeds)

Back from gone, he had lost his appeal during the fourth Season but is now blowing back some life into a show that is slowly dying.

32. Alby Grant (Big Love)

Kind of flew under the radar for a while, but seems to be back to being one of the most interesting characters on the show. He's evil, creepy, yet you can't help but like him.

31. Pete Campbell (Mad Men)

A slimy weasel that is slowly but surely winning me over. He is one of the most complex characters of this fantastic show.

30. Effy Stonem (Skins)

Perhaps one of the most tragic characters on tv, a confused but incredibly sexy girl that doesn't know what to do with herself.

29. Tim Riggins (Friday Night Lights)

The most interesting teenager on tv (well, he's not a teenager anymore I suppose). He has grown plenty the past season and is not only badass but also very likeable now.

28. Michael Scott (The Office)

The show is losing a bit of it's charm, but Michael still manages to keep me entertained. A jackass of a boss, but somehow very endearing.

27. Hoyt Fortenberry (True Blood)

An incredibly adorable and loveable guy. His current relationship with Jessica offers some of the best scenes of the show. Can't wait to see where they take it.

26. Bree Van De Kamp (Desperate Housewives)

Has definitely kept this show alive for me. The future of hers and Orson doesn't look very bright, but I still hope that it works out.

25. Casey Klein (Party Down)

Perhaps my biggest crush on tv. Not only is she played by no one other than Lizzy Caplan, but her personality is exactly what i'd go for.

24. Eric Northman (True Blood)

I did not get his fanbase until a few episodes into Season 2, but he truly is one of the most interesting vampires, ever. Now I just want them to show more Pam and Godric.

23. Richard Alpert (Lost)

The show has lost some of my interest, but I am still freaking curious about Richard and his past. He is probably the most interesting and mysterious character on Lost. Hopefully that doesn't mean that he will die (like with Eko and Danielle).

22. Jesse Pinkman (Breaking Bad)

Not always a very likeable guy, and sometimes a very dumb and frustrating one. But you gotta admit, he is very interesting and you can't help but love him even when you want to strangle him.

21. Jackie Peyton (Nurse Jackie)

One of the best new characters played by no one other than Edie Falco. She is a very complex and misunderstood lady, but her strong personality makes her a very likeable and interesting one.

20. Henry Pollard (Party Down)

Kind of a loser, no, a total loser. But I find myself relating to him a lot, perhaps more than any other character currently on tv.

19. Bret McClegnie (Flight Of The Conchords)

A great singer, and although I love Jemaine, Bret is far more likeable and his stupidity is charming.

18. Tommy Gavin (Rescue Me)

After five years (technically six), his character still hasn't gotten old yet. He is still the jackass that he was back in Season 1, just a little bit more likeable.

17. Precious Ramotswe (The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency)

A complete breath of fresh air, probably the only excellent show with a large African American female lead star. And Jill Scott is excellent, her performance and her singing. Gotta love her.

16. Desmond Hume (Lost)

Even with the lack of screen time last season, I still think that he is one of the most interesting characters on television. He better get a bigger storyline next year because I am sick of the Jack/Kate thing.

15. Betty Draper (Mad Men)

I love her newly found 'balls', but I was also fascinated by the depressed and extremely bored person she played during the first and a half seasons.

14. Jessica Hamby (True Blood)

The sexiest vampire on tv, ever? I expected her to be this funny pain-in-the-ass vampire teen but she has turned out to be almost the opposite. She is still funny, but also extremely likeable, she is so much fun to watch.

13. Dennis & Sweet Dee Reynolds (It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia)

Okay, I cheated a bit with this one. But they are twins, both horrible people but very entertaining. They wouldn't work as well without the other, and episodes that are about the both of them are among the funniest episodes of the show.

12. George (Being Human)

He is what keeps the show interesting, it has been a long time since there was a great werewolf on tv. Actually, there have only been two others (Eric Cord and Daniel Osbourne). I love the guy, he needs his own spin-off.

11. Murray Hewitt (Flight Of The Conchords)

One of the dumbest and funniest characters on tv. Murray is clearly stupid, but he makes up for great television. And he is a great singer, they should let him sing more often.

10. Sean Garrity (Rescue Me)

Perhaps the dumbest guy on tv (and believe me, Jason Stackhouse is hard to beat). But he is so likeable and funny, he really steals the show for me.

09. Joan Holloway (Mad Men)

What a goddess, her confidence and the way she walks. But like Betty and Peggy, she has changed and lost some of her **** Which is both good and bad, sadly her days of glory seem to be over.

08. Nicolette Grant (Big Love)

She had always been my favorite wife, but the gap between her and the other wives has only grown bigger and bigger. Nicky is fascinating, she is the only wife born into polygamy and the one that strugles with it the most.

07. Charlie Kelly (It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia)

The funniest character on television. Charlie is fantastic, he is just as much as a jackass as everyone else on the show, but he is much more likeable and his crazy tantrums are tv at it's best.

06. Peggy Olson (Mad Men)

Peggy is too loveable for her own good. She started off as this shy insecure secretary but has become the most successful woman at Sterling Cooper. I predict that she will own part of the company in the future.

05. Walter H. White (Breaking Bad)

Definitely not one of the most likeable, but he is one of the most fascinating characters on tv. Bryan Cranston does a terrific job and is one of the reasons why his character works so well.

04. Nancy Botwin (Weeds)

Most Weeds fans seem to hate Nancy more with time, but I love Nancy more and more. She screws up everything and that is what makes her such an interesting character to watch. Every week it's like, 'what will Nancy do to screw up her life even more?'.

03. Grace Makutsi (The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency)

My favorite female character on tv, after only 7 episodes. And perhaps already one of my favorites of all time.
Anika Noni Rose is perhaps the most unrecognized actress at this moment, she excels at both comedy and drama. I want to see more of her in the future.

02. Dexter Morgan (Dexter)

What is there to say that hasn't been said before? There has never been a character like Dexter before, he is fascinating. Dark, but his 'mask' appears to be 'slipping'. He is changing. I cannot wait to see how his story ends.

01. Don Draper (Mad Men)

Who else could it be? Don is my favorite character of all time. He is the guy I'd like to be. He is intelligent, smooth, the ladies fancy him and he got a good heart on top of that. Don's the man.

so, how is everyone?

Online Survivor Game Sign-ups

I am thinking about hosting my very first online survivor game, you don't need to be familiar with the show, but you will need to be available between 6 to 9 PM US eastern time for almost everyday for the next two to maybe three weeks. Challenges will be held depending on what is the most convenient time for people and will take a maximum of ONE hour. (certain immunity challenges later on might take a little longer, though.)
Don't sign up if you don't have the time!

I will need 18 people, so I will be selective but don't worry too much. And it will be held on another forum. [yes, not on IMDB]
The only thing I want is activity, so NO quitters.

Some people you may know from here might sign up, but there is a chance that there will be people from other places singing up.

The only thing you will need to do is to sign up on another forum with a real name (doesn't have to be yours, you can name yourself Jerry Springer, for example. Just not SleepTight69 or something) and use a picture of a random person as avatar, could be yours, or someone else's.

If you are selected, you will get a link to the forum

The game will start in a few days unless I do not have enough participants.
I hope to see you there!

4th Year Anniversary

It is my fourth tv.com anniversary. At least, it was about 3/4 days ago.
Yay. I haven't been here a while, but I will never leave for good.

What have I been upto this week? Taking care of Kittens, is what!
My cat Rikku had kittens last Wednesday. Five. One died the next day, but the other four remain strong.
I named them; Fox, Bubbles, Brutus (RIP), Angel and Tirzah.

The pictures are too big to post, but if you want to see pictures click here.

I want to do something special for this blog, and decided to write small reviews for the shows that I have been watching this year.
Only shows that have been airing in 2009, though.

The N00bs

United States Of Tara

A show with fine acting but inconsistent writing. However, it had a fine payoff at the end and hopefully it will keep improving next year.
Grade: B-

Dollhouse

A bit of a hit-or-miss, but it is has an interesting concept. It is not quite as memorable as the other Joss shows, but it will get there. I hope.
Grade: C+

Kings

Started off with loads of potential, but that was sucked out pretty early in. The actors were great, but the writing was just too uneven. I will watch the final episodes and hope that it ends as strong as it started.
Grade: C+

Being Human

I am finally getting into some British shows. I do not like this one as much as Life On Mars or Skins, but it was interesting. I just wish that we would get more George and less of everything else.
Grade: B

Harper's Island

My biggest guilty pleasure of the Season. It had a horrible start, full of cliches and poor dialog. But the last couple of episodes managed to suck me in and make me care about the characters and the plot. Although still cheesy, it has had it's moments of awesomeness. Just three more episodes, I can't wait.
Grade: C

No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency

The best new show of the year, more people need to know about it. The cast is just superb, it is like nothing I have seen before. A breath of fresh air.
Grade: A

Nurse Jackie

Another excellent new show. Only three episodes in, but have already fallen in love with it. The great cast and dialog make it stand out. One of the most memorable shows on Showtime.
Grade: A-

The Oldies

Survivor: Season 18

Yes, reality tv rots your brains. But Survivor is fun, without being too dumb. Season 18 had a likeable cast, perhaps too likeable. I missed more action and physical challenges. But otherwise, it was a fun watch.
Grade: C+

E.R.: Season 15

After a rather forgettable season, the show ended on a high note. Actually, their last season turned out to be one of their best. That usually never happens.
Grade: A-

The Office: Season 5

Although not as memorable as it once was, the fifth season had some great moments.
Grade: B

Nip/Tuck: Season 5.5

Second half of Season 5 turned out to be much, much better than the first. But it still does not beat the early years.
Grade: B-

Medium: Season 5

The show is still going strong, but I am surprised that it hasn't gotten the ax yet. The season ended on a great cliff-hanger.
Grade: B

Lost: Season 5

My least favorite season to date. It was nice to learn more about the Island, but I simply did not care about a lot of it. However, I am definitely looking forward to see how they continue the story next year.
Grade: B

Rescue Me: Season 5

This season has been surprisingly strong. Sean and Mike just get funnier and Tommy gets even more badass. So glad that I did not give up on it.
Grade: B+

Weeds: Season 5

Too early to judge, but so far, pretty good. I love how dark the series is getting. Esteban is one of my favorite villains on tv.
Grade: B

Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.5

The last 11 episodes of BSG were amongst my favorites. Not everyone enjoyed the dark turn that the series took, but was it ever any less dramatic? I think that the show ended up on a very high note, and was fully satisfied with it's conclusion.
Grade: A+

Big Love: Season 3

The first two seasons were great, but the third season brought it to a new level of brilliance. Although still not quite my favorite show on HBO, it is definitely one of the best.
Grade: A+

30 Rock: Season 3

Meh, not as funny or as clever as the first two. I think that all the famous guest stars just made it too commecial and not as enjoyable as it once was.
Grade: B-

The Tudors: Season 3

A strong year, but I was expecting a little more. I missed Anne more than I thought, and King Henry has lost all his appeal by now. The show is a little too empty at times, but still good.
Grade: B

Heroes: Season 3

Haven't actually even finished it yet. The show has gotten pretty awful and screwy. I wonder if I will bother to tune in again.
Grade: D+

Skins: Season 3

Surprisingly great. I love the new cast much more than the old. Cook, Freddie, Effy, Tomas, JJ were all fabulous.
Grade: B+

Breaking Bad: Season 2

My favorite show of 2008, and so far, my favorite show of 2009. Bryan Cranston is a little too convincing at times.
Grade: A+

Flight Of The Conchords: Season 2

Best comedy of the year. It is funnier, smarter, and just plain better. The songs were fantastic. Here's hoping for a third season.
Grade: A

True Blood: Season 2

A little too early to tell, but judging on the premier. It looks like we are in for a killer season.
Grade: A-

Can't wait for Mad Men's + Dexter's return and Glee's + Flash Forward's premieres.

Currently (Re)watching
Survivor: Season 13 - 2nd time
Weeds: Season 5
Rescue Me: Season 5
The Office: Season 5
Breaking Bad: Season 2 - 2nd time
The Sopranos: Season 2 - 2nd time
The Wire: Season 2 - 2nd time
Pushing Daisies: Season 2 - 2nd time
True Blood: Season 2
Skins: Season 2 - 2nd time
Firefly: Season 1 - 3rd time
Twin Peaks: Season 1 - 2nd time
Life On Mars (UK): Season 1
Nurse Jackie: Season 1
Kings: Season 1
Harper's Island: Season 1

That is all.

PS: Happy Birthday to Greta. It is her Birthday today.

Shameless self-promotion

Hey guys, I saw Maxpower blog again which reminded me of the good ol' times.

Anyway, as the title says, I am shamelessly blogging to promote my forum again.

Things have changed, we lost some threads last week because one of my admins didn't know what forum prunning meant. -- but it turned out to be for the better.

The Forum has been updated to Version 3, which means more features.

You can now play 410 old games now for example, and some of them do not actually totally suck. It's addictive

Please check it out, (click) I would love to have more regulars around there.

I am currently working on a new list -- Top 200 Tv Actors. Insane, I know

I am up to number 175. Please check it out here

Anyway, what have you guys been upto? Anything I have missed on tv.com?

I really do miss the comunity

The Journey Is Over

Firs, another shout-out to Battlestar Galactica.

I could not have wished for a better ending. I cried, I gasped, I screamed. It was so awesome.

Here is a wonderful goodbye video, please watch it (click here)

and in my opinion, Laura Roslin had the best ending. She made me cry =(

watch this

I am going to miss it so much =(

anyway,

Back from Edinbrah. It was totally awesome D:

I partied and drank like never before. We also went to some museums and castles, but that wasn't as interesting. We even had a ghost tour at night, but it was too cold and toolong to enjoy it. My legs were freezing at the cemetery.

I put up some pictures of the party on my forum, they are too big to post on tv.suck I am afraid =(

linky, linky, click here

here are a few, though; (most of the ones I made do not include me, obviously)

That was the teacher, he was more wasted than anyone else. You should have seen him XD

Random people that were worth making a picture of D:

that's it, go look at the pictures D=

and just to fill this blog in,

10 things I want to do in the next 10 years;

1. Become a daddy.
It's what I want the most, really. At least one in the next 10 years. I'd be a cool daddy, no?

2. Get a dog.
I've had enough **** time for a dog.

3. Move to the US. (and perhaps a few years to either Colombia, China, Japan, Brazil, Spain, Australia or Canada)
Just wanna get out of craphole Dutchland.

4. Learn another language.
I can speak three, I would like to add Portuguese, French, Japanese or Chinese to the list.

5. Become a great drawer.
My shyte is very so-so right now, but there is space to improve.

6. Become a great Photogropher/Camera man.
It's the job that I would like to do in the next 10 years.

7. Appear at least once on Tv.
Not that hard to appear on tv, I would just like to know how it is.

8. Meet some internet friends.
I definitely want to meet Angel, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Kath, Liv, Joey and some others. Most of them live in the US, so that is pretty easy.

9. Stay in shape and do sports, yoga, fitness or a fighting sport.
I want a spiffy boday.

10. Explore the world.
Like in the film 'Into The Wild', I would love to go into the jungle etc. I would be too much of a **** to do it alone, though.

What are yours?

Farewell, Battlestar Galactica

I am still frakking waiting for the final episode to finish downloading, and am getting so nervous and sad.
So I thought, why not write a goodbye blog for the show while waiting?

The show has meant a lot to me for the last four-five years. It has entertained, depressed the heck out of me but mostly screw with my mind. And I enjoyed every single frakking second.

To BSG, the show that none will ever be like.

15 Memorable Episodes

I will probably change my mind, but these are the 15 episodes that stand out the most for me.
No real ranking. I am pretty sure the final episode will be one of them once I watch it.

Flesh & Bone

Although I was hooked since the miniseries, this episode took my addiction to another level. It was so intense, and the attraction between Starbuck and Leoben was powerful.

Kobol's Last Gleaming P.2

The first season finale blew me away, it had me staring at the screen once it was over. Not only was Boomer shooting Adama unexpected, but the whole scenery was gorgeous. I loved the opera house.

Home P.2

A lot of plot development and character development in this one. The scene inside the thomb gave me chills.

Pegasus

A very intense and well-acted bit. I remember the attempted Athena-rape scene making a lot of people uncomfortable. It brought the show to a new level.

Resurrection Ship P.2

The conclusion to the Pegasus-arc. Once again with the great scenery and music. And Adama and Laura finally kissed.

Downloaded

A very special episode, we finally got to see more of the Cylons' point of view and let's face it; Cylons are more interesting than grumpy people.

Exodus P.2

Probably my favorite episode, it was very explosive but also devistating. Tigh became a favorite from here on out.

Torn

A very overlooked episode. It was very gripping and the music was fantastic. I think that it was the second-best directed episode.

Rapture

Very relevant to the plot, D'Anna got to see the final five and Athena made Helo kill her to go rescue Hera.

Maelstrom

In my opinion, it was the best directed episode and also the most emotional and best scripted one of BSG. I frakking loved it.

Crossroads P.2

A great conclusion to Gaius' trial, loved Lee's speech. And a pretty shocking ending.

The Ties That Bind

Another overlooked episode. I think that it was one of the darkest and most depressing hours of BSG. The fact that Cally was about to kill her own baby made me gasp.

Revelations

It blew my mind, never ever expected the whole Earth storyline to end like that. My mind was blank after watching this one.

Blood On The Scales

Very tensed and thrilling, full of kick-ass action but also great acting and character development.

Someone To Watch Over Me

Probably the best directed episode of the fourth season, it was such a great build-up for an epic end.

11 Favorite Characters

11: Samuel Anders

I loved Sam since he was introduced. I loved him when everyone hated him and I loved him when everyone started loving him. Poor Sam .

10: Galen Tyrol

Honestly, this guy frustrated me a lot in the first three seasons. But now I feel respect for him, long live poor Tyrol.

09: D'Anna Biers

The way she was written out was a little disappointing, but I loved D'Anna. Especially when she was going through that suicidal-arc. Crazy beotch.

08: Laura Roslin

I loved and hated Laura. Did not always agree with her choices, but at least she's a better president than America probably ever had. Long live cancer-lady. Mary needs to win an Emmy.

07: Number Six/Caprica

I loved her the most when she was evil, and her decline of evilness made her a little less interesting. but Tricia Helfer will always be the face of the show.

06: Karl 'Helo' Agathon

It's strange, I usually don't like goodie good guys that much. Like Lee and Gaeta. But Helo was different, he always captured my interest and I always agreed with his point of views. I hope that he and Athena get some kind of a happy ending.

05: Gaius Baltar

Like Six, I preferred Gaius much more when he was a selfish arrogant sex-addicted bastage. James Callis gave him so much character. Especially when getting laid.

04: William Adama

Our hero . My feeling is that Adama made weeping grown-men look cool. If there had been an episode with Edward crying for 45 minutes, it would still have been epic.

03: Leoben Conoy

Gah! It frustrates me that Leoben didn't get more screentime in the final season. I loved his scenes with Starbuck, they were sexually intense. We need more Leoben in 'The Plan', Ron.

02: Saul Tigh

I kinda hated Tigh before the eye-patch. But he went through a complete transformation, and Michael Hogan depressed the heck out of me. I want him to have a happy ending but I honestly don't see it happening.

01: Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace

My girl. I love her. She even kicked ass during her peeing scene two episodes ago. Starbuck, oh Starbuck. I love Starbuck.

Okay guys, download is finished. Will be off to watch it.

R.I.P. Battlestar Galactica: 2003-2009. One of the best frakking shows ever.

SO SAY WE ALL

I will be writing a top 25 Series Finales once I get back from Edinburgh. BSG better make the cut!

EDIT: Just finished it. and I have to say, that was the best episode that I have ever seen.

Ever

EVER

EVER!!!!!!!!!!

I can die happy now.

o9o9o9o9

I felt like blogging again

I will be going to Edinburgh next week on my school trip. Looking forward to get out of crappy cheese-land. That's for sure.

But I am starting to get a little annoyed with most of these people, though. Almost feels like being on my period, if I was capable of being that. I feel very anti-social lately, really only like about 5 out of 20-somethings. Oh well. I'll try to make with the nice

Anyways, new list!
Pilots. Pilot episodes are very crucial, they are supposed to get you interested and connected to the story. But they do not always work. I picked 25 that did work.

I left out animated series and miniseries to make it more accurate.

25: "Out Here In The Fiels" - Life On Mars

Runtime: 40 min
I still have yet to see the UK version, but was instantly hooked after watching the US' pilot. The 70's music was pure bliss and I loved the characters immediately.
Quote: "He's crazier than a fruit bat at a cranberry convention."
BEST SCENE: When Sam speaks to the boy he arrests in the future.

24: "The Stolen Eagle" - Rome

Runtime: 50 min
Although it was not one of the most memorable episodes, it got me hooked immediately. The powerful characters drew me in and I was impressed with how realistic it all looked.
Quote: "I like to kill my enemy, take their gold and enjoy their women."
BEST SCENE: Octavian being freed and having his first kill.

23: "Pilot Episode" - Everwood

Runtime: 45 min
A powerful start to a great family drama, the dialog was sharp and humorous.
Quote: "I found out I'm in love with in a girl who's in love with a guy that's in a coma."
BEST SCENE: Andy and Ephram wishing each other they were dead.

22: "Who Cares? aka Pilot" - MillenniuM

Runtime: 45 min
A very dark and memorable pilot to one of the darkest shows that I have seen. It grabbed my attention, it was different and very gutsy for it's time.
Quote: "They believe we can't just sit back and hope for a happy ending."
BEST SCENE: Saving the guy who had his lips and eyes nailed shut.

21: "Deadwood" - Deadwood

Runtime: 60 min
Nothing like your average western, this HBO series was dark and realistic. The sharp dialog got my immediate attention. It was a little hard to get into it at first, but I love and appreciate the pilot now.
Quote: "Comin' out with your fly down might strike the wrong note."
BEST SCENE: Saving Sofia.

20: "Guts" - Rescue Me

Runtime: 45 min
Great introduction to a bunch of screwed-up firemen. It was gutsy and powerful, shame the show lost the purpose it once had.
Quote: "Hey pal, I'm a New York City fireman. My whole life's a goddamn gamble."
BEST SCENE: The end with Tommy and all the ghosts.

19: "Where Is Everybody?" - The Twilight Zone

Runtime: 35 min
The shortest pilot on this list got me hooked, The Twilight Zone was way before it's time. The whole thing was eerie and you can see why it influenced so many tv shows and films.
Quote: "A place I don't want to go again, sir. A town. A town without people."
BEST SCENE: The guy talking to a mannequin.

18: "City Of..." - Angel

Runtime: 45 min
Spin-offs have it easier because they only need to reintroduce the story, but Angel was different from Buffy in many ways. It had the good qualities and none of the bad.
Quote: "Have you looked in a mirror lately? Well, no, I guess you haven't."
BEST SCENE: Angel making Russle meet with the sun.

17: "Northwest Passage aka Pilot" - Twin Peaks

Runtime: 90 min
The whole thing was eerie without being too much 'out here', and it builds tension all he way till the end.
Quote: "There are many stories in Twin Peaks, some of them are sad, some funny. Some of them are stories of madness, of violence."
BEST SCENE: Sarah Palmer's vision.

16: "Pilot" - Desperate Housewives

Runtime: 45 min
The show may be trashy, but it started out with a bang, introduced the characters nicely and had some of that Twin Peaks mistery.
Quote: "I don't wanna wake up one morning with the sudden urge to blow my brains out."
BEST SCENE: Mary's suicide.

15: "The Pilot" - Breaking Bad

Runtime: 55 min
Throughoutly tensed, dark and nerve-wrecking. Bryan Cranston was the real star of the pilot, though. His fantatic performance made it work the better.
Quote: "Some straight like you, giant stick up his ass, age what? Sixty? He's just gonna break bad?"
BEST SCENE: Walter suffocating the gangsters.

14: "The Sopranos" - The Sopranos

Runtime: 60 min
A great introduction to the most critically acclaimd show. Though not entirely original, there is just something so fascinating about maffia bosses. The therapy sessions are what made it 'different' .
Quote: "What's different between you and me is you're going to hell when you die."
BEST SCENE: Christopher's kill aka First kill on the show, ever.

13: "Nip/Tuck aka Pilot" - Nip/Tuck

Runtime: 60 min
Before it became a guilty pleasue, it was a truly groundbreaking show about empty human plastics. But you couldn't help yourself and love them. It was sexy and daring.
Quote: "I don't want to be pretty. I want to be better. I want to be perfect."
BEST SCENE: Christian 'marking' Kimber.

12: "Dexter" - Dexter

Runtime: 50 min
Completely different and original, yet not too unfamilliar. Dexter was intriguing, it was dark but not too dark. It had all the right elements from the start, and a fascinating lead star.
Quote: "Harry and Dorris Morgan did a wonderful job raising me. But they're both dead now. I didn't kill them. Honest."
BEST SCENE: Dexter's first on-screen kill.

11: "Serenity" - Firefly

Runtime: 85 min
Whedon's best pilot by far, the script was playful but not over the top. The budget was low, yet they did the best they could. The characters all had a purpose and made the pilot (that was not aired as the pilot) very memorable.
Quote: "We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die."
BEST SCENE: River's first scene.

10: "The Pilot" - Lost

Runtime: 80 min
Unlike popular opinion, I never thought the first half was one of the better episodes of the series. However, the second half introduced the characters and some of the Island's biggest misteries very, very nicely.
Quote: "Two players, two sides. One is light, one is dark."
BEST SCENE: The crash site.

09: "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" - Mad Men

Runtime: 45 min
Unlike a lot of these pilots, Mad Men's true power is in it's subtle dialog and brilliant performances. It scores high in all the areas, though. The stylish look made it very pleasant on the eyes, and there are some definite seductive qualities.
Quote: "What you call love was invented by guys like me to sell nylons."
BEST SCENE: Don and Rachel's conversation at the restaurant.

08: "Genesis aka In His Own Image" - Heroes

Runtime: 40 min
I was very hyped after watching the pilot, I loved the story and the way the characters were introduced. It was so different from other superhero stories, shame it has become an empty unwatchable mess.
Quote: "Did you see me? I did it! I was in the women's bathroom."
BEST SCENE: Claire jumping off a bridge and getting filmed.

07: "Goliath" - Kings

Runtime: 80 min
So far, I think that it is the best pilot of the year. It introduced this realistic reality with some bible characters and then hit the nail with the second half which was powerful and tear-jerking. The scenery was almost like from a movie.
Quote: "You want blood? come and take it! It's fresh! Still warm from the life it just left it. The blood of my brother."
BEST SCENE: David holding a sheet tainted with his brother's blood.

06: "Dead Girl aka Pilot" - Dead Like Me

Runtime: 70 min
A kick-ass pilot that was funny, but also somehow very moving. It dealt with death but in a lighter aspect, the characters were interesting and easy to relate to.
Quote: "I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not, I excel at not giving a sh!t."
BEST SCENE: George being crushed by a toilet seat.

05: "Freaks & Geeks aka The Pilot" - Freaks & Geeks

Runtime: 45 min
The beauty of this show were the characters, even the least likeable ones had something likable and identifiable. But the show was also well-scripted and meaningful, and I think that everyone needs to give it a chance.
Quote: "I used to have a friend who cut clqss, you know what happened to him? He died."
BEST SCENE: The dance at the end.

04: "Pie-Lette" - Pushing Daisies

Runtime: 40 min
I didn't like it that much at first, I was expecting something like 'Dead Like Me' and found this to be too sweet and light. But now I love the pilot and the colorful, positive message. It's such a cute and well-done show, it will be missed.
Quote: "I used to think masturbation meant chewing your food. I don't think that anymore."
BEST SCENE: Little Ned and Little Chuck's first kiss.

03: "Milfay" - Carnivale

Runtime: 55 min
A great, dark, misterious and fascinating show. It's the most realistic supernatural series, it's harsh and cruel but compelling. There were so many great moments in the pilot, but the coin-spewing scene will always be remembered.
Quote: "Before the beginning, after the great war between heaven and hell, God created the Earth and gave dominion over it to the crafty ape he called Man."
BEST SCENE: Coin scene/Ben healing a little girl.

02: "The Pilot" - Six Feet Under

Runtime: 60 min
Fantastic pilot of one of my favorite shows, it was over the top dramatic in all the good ways. It introduced every character well and had some very meaningful and artsy moments. Loved the humorous elements.
Quote: "My father's dead, my mom's a whore, my brother wants to kill me, and my sister's smoking crack. I think I win."
BEST SCENE: Nathadaniel's funeral.

01: "Miniseries aka The Pilot" - Battlestar Galactica

Runtime: 180 min
The BSG pilot has the advantage of being three hours long, but either way it deserves to be number one. It was apocalyptic, political, spiritual, heart-breaking and just truly epic. It achieved more in three hours than other shows achieve in more than one Season.
Quote: "My prognosis is doubtful. I wish I could say it was the least of my worries. But the world is coming to an end and all I could think about is that I have cancer and I'm probably going to die. How selfish is that?"
BEST SCENE: Helo giving up his seat for Gaius Baltar/Baltar watching the news (both give me chills)

Top 30 Shows (yet again)

Staying away from tv.com for so long has been really wearing down on me. I really want to get back to the blogging, especially making lists. I love making lists

I'll make a quick and easy one, i'll redo, for the ten billionth time, my top 30

I love these shows 4reelz.

I did not include animated series (Hellsing!) or miniseries (Band Of Brothers! Angels In America!).

30: 30 Rock

Great comedy. Top comedians. A must.

29: Nip/Tuck

Back on the list, while not as good as the perfection that it once was. It's still pretty damn entertaining.

28: Buffy The Vampire Slayer

A show that I grew up with, and one that I'll always love.

27: The Office

Not as top-notch as it once was, but still one of the best comedies on tv.

26: Weeds

From dark comedy to more of a dramedy, the show is still surprising and entertaining.

25: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

One of the most outrageous comedies, nothing is a taboo on this show.

24: True Blood

A great vampire series to sink your teeth into, from creator Alan Ball. Can't wait to see more.

23: The Comeback

An awkward and underrated fantastic short-lived HBO comedy.

22: MillenniuM

From Chris Carter, a more darker and serious version of The X-Files. Without the aliens and monsters.

21: Firefly

Joss Whedon's third show, short-lived but with a highly memorable cast and dialog.

20: Dead Like Me

A great dramedy on life and the after life.

19: Arrested Development

One of the best comedies of all time, with a great cast and sharp dialog.

18: The Wire

Quite possibly the most critically acclaimed show of all time, definitely a must for HBO fans.

17: Breaking Bad

AMC's second compelling series, second season just started and it is already getting hype from all over the place.

16: Twin Peaks

David Lynch's unforgettable surreal crime series.

15: Flight Of The Conchords

Probably my favorite comedy of all time, hilarious and with a heart. I also adore the songs.

14: The X-Files

Perhaps lasted longer than it should have, but it influenced and changed television forever.

13: Big Love

It is slowly but surely becoming one of HBO's greatest tv series, it has truly hit the nail in it's third season.

12: Pushing Daisies

Bryan Fuller and his fans are cursed, all his shows get canceled way before their time. It was a great-looking, loveable crimedy.

11: Lost

One of the most interesting shows on tv, with a fascinating mythology and a great cast.

10: The Sopranos

A family that will live on, a truly fascinating family crime/drama.

09: Angel

Still remains one of my favorite shows, a dark and deep vampire story.

08: Rome

An epic HBO historic series about ancient Rome and it's fascinating people and their power struggles.

07: Dexter

A dark, yet humorous twist on the crime/investigative genre dealing with one of the most interesting lead characters on tv.

06: Deadwood

A truly realistic, moving dark western. One of HBO's best.

05: Freaks & Geeks

Lasting only one Season, it's heart won me over and became a show that I admire and appreciate.

04: Mad Men

AMC's first original series is one of the most well-written, well-performed and well-composed series of all time. The stylish 60's look and meaningful script makes it more than just art.

03: Battlestar Galactica

With only the series finale to go, I will miss this fantastic, dark space drama completely. It's realistic portrayel of humanity is what grabbed me in the first place.

02: Carnivale

#1 and #2 are so close, the only big difference is that #1 got to finish it's story while #2 unfortunately did not get the opportunity. It's mythology and characters impressed me more than any other series, and with that epic cliff-hanger I still hope to see a continuation in whatever form.

01: Six Feet Under

The most meaningful and honest portrayel of life, people and relationships. The show touched, moved and influenced.

This Place Is Death

Okay, so I like... sort of miss this place. Which is a good thing, first in a long time D:

I still stalk a couple of bloggers, and stalk a couple of shows. But have otherwise been not very tv.com-y for months now.

I thought it was time to do a new blog. aye?

In case you still haven't added me, add me on Facebook.

(I know you want to )

Since, this *IS* tv.com and I love talking about tv, here are my favorite 5 favorite shows on tv right now;

1. Battlestar Galactica

Just THREE more episodes left *cry*. This week's episode had that 'beginning of the end' feel to it, with Galactica 'dying', Roslin nailing her coffin, and Hera getting kidnapped by Boomer. Also, Starbuck's revelation was fantastic. The entire episode had that great build up with the epic finale. I truly believe that the series finale might just blow Six Feet Under's finale out of the water.

Best of the season: Someone To Watch Over Me (or Blood On The Scales)

2. Big Love

Boy, they weren't wrong when they promised it to be the best year yet. Minus one slow burner, this Season has been utterly brilliant. It even made me cry last week, and believe me... it has been a long time since a show made me cry. I think that Big Love has finally become one of HBO's best drama's, and one of tv's best shows. period.

Best of the season: Come, Ye Saints (or Prom Queen)

3. Lost

Lost has also been kicking arse, though not so much with the dialog (a lot of campynses and plotholes). but the story is still full of plot twists and fascinating storytelling. Now with the Oceanic Six back on the Island, and Locke's 'death' revealed. There is space for more answers and revelations. I can't wait to see Jin and Sun finally reunite. And I can't wait to see more of Sawyer, Juliet and Daniel (who I deeply missed the last two weeks).

Best of the season: This Place Is Death (or Jugghead)

4. Flight Of The Conchords

Okay, so it is official. Best. Comedy. Ever. The songs kick arse, the comedy is subtle but hilarious. I have never enjoyed a comedy as much as this one.

Best of the season: Murray Takes It To The Next Level

5. Nip/Tuck

After a seriously dreadful first half, the show that I used to adore seems to be... back. I have liked every episode since it returned (despite the complete crazyness that it has become). And what I am loving the most is Katee Sackhoff, gawd, she really is perfect ain't she? Nip/Tuck is now more outragous than ever, but unlike Season 4 and the first half of Season 5, it does not make me roll my eyes or make me want to shoot the writers.

Best episode of the season: Budi Sabri (Best episode since Season 3)

Been watching some other shows, of course;

30 Rock; Jon Hamm (!!!!!!!!). Season 3 is not as good as previous seasons, but it's still great comedy

The Office; Definitely better than Season 4, and had that great 'Stress Relief' episode. but it still needs work.

Life On Mars (US); Sadly, it's future looks grim. But I am really enjoying it and will probably give the UK one a shot.

United States Of Tara; So far, so good. But needs more work. The latest episode pushed it in the right direction. We just need more Marshall, less Charmaine.

Survivor; I am ashamed to even write about it, but it's a guilty pleasure. The 18th Season has been pretty neat, I have a crush on quite a few of the people.

Dollhouse; Joss' newest show. So far, I think that it has the most intriguing storyline... but it needs some work (third act was rather poor, I think that I prefered Angel's 'She' over it). But I like the characters, Boyd kicks arse and Alpha is a very intriguing bad guy. If it keeps improving, I will definitely like it more than Buffy and perhaps Firefly.

So, that is it for now. How ya'll been doing?

I updated my Top 100 Show list; go check it out!

Absence

Gah! I've been stalking some profiles but haven't been posting anything. at all. D:

How's everyone?

You guys should add me on Facebook. Myspace is soo 2006.

School has been interesting. Much more than I initially thought. And I am already half-way through D; damn time goes by really fast.

I've been writing my own series with a friend, hopefully I will get to post the first episode sometime in February. It's quite intriguing if I say so myself, i'd watch my own show for sho'. It's a 13ep mini-series full of comedy, drama and a bit of sci-f.

Tv is still my one and true love. So many shows are coming back.

Come back in January;

Battlestar Galactica

Just a few more episodes and the greatest sci-fi of all time will say it's final goodbye. The series' comeback was one of it's most depressing and darkest hours. BSG is better than ever.

Lost

Lost keeps reinventing itself and keeps surprising it's audience. Now in it's fifth and second-to-last year it's more fast-paced than ever. The two-hour premiere had one of the most badass death scenes yet.

Big Love

After being gone for over a year, the greatest family drama on tv is finally back. The Season promises to be the best one yet.

Life On Mars (US)

Still haven't seen the UK, and doubt I will anytime soon. The US version is entertaining and dramatic, the wait was well-wroth it.

NEW;

Lie To Me

A nice, new show. I wonder if it will last, but I like the premise.

The United States Of Tara

Amazing new Showtime series, with only three episodes in -- I have already fallen in love.

What shows are you guys watching?

The Show Must Go On

Hey, it's me again.
Since I haven't been feeling like blogging or visiting tv.com in a while, I've decided to take a break from it.
I'm not sure for how long, coud be weeks. months. maybe just a couple of days. Depends on how much i'm gonna miss it.

In case it does take a long time, I just wanted to say that I had some great times here. I considered tv.com as my second home for a long time, and I won't forget it.

If you wanna contact me, You can find me at:
My Forum
IMDB
or MSN: juansarmiento80@hotmail.com

It's been swell, kids.
For my music list, Go Here (I will update it with time)

and to finish the blog, i'll give some of my favorite tv shows a shout-out. Tv is what brought me here in the first place.

30 Rock

The greatest comedy of our time. Great cast + Great crew + Tina Fay = Lots of goodyness

Angel

One of my first addictions. A Vampire with a soul? This show makes spin-offs look good.

Battlestar Galactia

A hardcore sci-fi for grown-ups. No silly costumes, just straight up epic battles and Cylon sex.

Big Love

Who wouldn't wanna have three wives? Shame they come with babies though.

Carnivale

A show that brings the word 'Epic' to another level. Oh, I can only dream of what it could have been.

Dead Like Me

Life sucks, but so does the after life. A great show about finding yourself after you die. If that makes sense.

Deadwood

Full of filthy people, whores, savages and cursing. Wouldn't have worked if it wasn't for the perfect cast.

Dexter

One of the best shows on tv, serial killers have never been this sweet before.

Freaks & Geeks

High School sucked, no other show put it in a better perspective. Shame it didn't last.

Lost

Bunch of people stranded on a mystical Island. Finally a show that fulfilled it's potential, and then some.

Mad Men

Most stylish and perfect show on tv right now, if not -- ever. I love it more than I love your momma.

The Office

Maybe not as fresh as it used to be, but still comedy gold and with a great cast.

Pushing Daisies

Most colorful, sweetest, adorable shyte on tv. It's like crack, you can't get enough of it.

Rome

The most expensive tv show of all time. It was epic, and full of powerful characters.

The Sopranos

Most critically acclaimed show of probable -- ever? The Godfather of tv.

Six Feet Under

Still my favorite show, it moved me, abused me, entertained me, and almost killed me.

True Blood

My favorite new show, it revived the vampire genre and gave it some extra bite.

Twin Peaks

One of the best looking shows of all time, with an eerie, creepy and dreamy atmosphere.

Weeds

Honestly, I am loving all the changes. The darker it gets, the more I love it. Dark comedies are my favorites.

The X-Files

My oldest addiction, it ran for 9 years, influenced many tv shows and was one of the few shows of that genre that got the fame it deserved.

My Complete Top 100 Shows

And i'll finish this with a song .

Best wishes to ya'll.

Sparks Fly Out

Man, i've been wanting to write a new blog for a while but I keep putting it off.

I've lost my interest for this place, for quite some time now. and it's getting worse.

But there's still a part in me that practically forces me to blog

Talk about double personalities, huh?

anyway, i'm on VACAAAAATION!

Guess what i've been doing? Right. Watching tv series. Dayum, a whole fraaking bunch of 'em.

Just to list a few shows that i've been watching:

- 30 Rock

- True Blood

- Mad Men

- Pushing Daisies

- Heroes

- Dexter

- Batman: Animated Series

- Friday Night Lights

- Carnivale

- X-Files

- X-Men: Animated Series (been having an orgy of marathons)

Jeez, I should really do my homework.

School has been fun, we're going to Scotland next year. Can't effing wait.

Guess which one is me? =o

Episode Reviews

Jeez, i'm way behind on these. I'll just review the latest of True Blood, Heroes, Dexter & Pushing Dasies

True Blood

This show show is sadly the highlight of my life right now. Im seriously addicted, I love the charcaters and the stories they find themselves into. All very compelling, yes, yes.
Escape From Dragon House:
A
Who doesn't love Jason and his penis both of them should get their own spin-off. This entire episode was just downright hilarious.
Also really digged the introduction of Eric and Pam, and of course, we got to see a part of Bill's dark side. Very nice!
Sparks Fly Out:
A
Just as funny, and with more character development. This episode made me love Bill for good.
I loved the flashbacks of him, and how he was turned into a vampire. And of course, the shocking cliff hanger.
Cold Ground:
B+
Drama didn't fully work, I felt like it tried to be too much like Six Feet Under.
But other than that, it was still a very strong episode. I loved the Pie-scene. very sad.
Burning House Of Love:
A
One of my favorites so far. This show just keeps getting better.
So much goodness, Sam running naked was just... perfect timing. Also, some great character development.
Even the demon storylne was handled well.

Heroes

The best way to enjoy this show is by keeping your expectations low. I really don't get all the hate the show is getting, I think that it has been like this since Season 1.
The show is trashy, but I still enjoy it. No matter how lazy the writing can be.
One of Us, One of Them:
A-
I really enjoyed this one. I thought the comedy was excellent. I really missed funny-Hiro. Daphne is sooo cartoon-ish, but I see that as a good thing.
I Become Death:
C
Well, not much to see here. Another reality with some horrid acting from everyone. Didn't really buy anything. Not even the silly special effects.
Heroes And Monsters:
A-
See, it can't be THAT hard to give the characters some character development can it?
I'm really digging Mohinder this year. Which is weird, he has always bored me to tears. But the bug thing, really suits him.
Of course, there were some stuff that I didn't buy. Like, Hiro stabbing Ando? and some more bull. But still... I enjoyed it, why question it?

Dexter

Dexter has been a little slow this season, but that is not a bad thing. Not yet, anyway.
I really, really miss Doakes though. Man, I miss Doakes. Did I mention me missing Doakes? Doakes was swell.
But hey, more screen time for Dex I guess. The baby story... meh. I'm not liking Miguel. But hey, anything is better than Lila right?
Finding Feebo:
B+
A slow start, but a very good ending. It almost gave me a heart attack.
JESUS, Dexter almost got caught again. Some great acting there.
The Lion Sleeps Tonight:
A-
A very nice character episode. Loved the Pedo-side story to be honest.
Some hilarious comedy moments, too. Dexter doing Yoga? Oh man, that made my day!

Pushing Daisies

I have officially, fully, fallen in love with this show. Ned and Olive are the cutest characters ever. EVER!
Bzzzzz!:
A
A wonderful return full of adorable adorableness. I really loved Olive's scenes. She's a NUN!? HAAAAH!
Circus Circus:
A-
Once again, Olive made the episode. Loved her interactions with Lily. Hi-larious.
Also, Ned and Chuck are the cutest thing ever. Every scene whith those two, and dialog, is magnificent.
Bad Habbits:
B+
Slightly silly with the explenation, and the overdosis of Jesus.
But still, a very nice episode. This show can't do wrong.

Music List:

140: "Are You That Somebody?" - Aaliyah

I was a big fan of Aaliyah, I thought she was beautiful and made some great music. This would be my favorite of hers, I love the beat and the song just sounds great. I'm not sure if you can call it a guilty-pleasure or just a pleasure.
Quote: Sometimes I'm goody goody. Right now I'm naughty naughty.

139: "Just" - Radiohead

The second of many Radiohead-goodness. Not only is this song excellent, but the music video is just perfect. It has a great story and is probably one of their most original ones.
Quote: One day i'll get to you, And teach you how to get to purest hell.

138: "Smells Like Teen Spirit" - Nirvana

I may not love it as much as most people do, but I still think it's one of the best songs + music videos. Nirvana is legendary.
Quote: A mullato! An Albino! A mosquito! My Libido! Yay!.

137: "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" - Coldplay

Coldplay's second appearance. In most cases, Coldplay's music is very relaxing and beautiful. But this is an exception. This song is haunting, creepy and it keeps you thinking. Definitely one of my favorites of theirs.
Quote: Where do we go nobody knows. Don't ever say you're on your way down.

136: "The Unforgiven" - Metallica

Metallica's second time on the list, with their creepiest video and haunting lyrics. One of their best.
Quote: The old man then prepares to die regretfully. That old man here is me.

135: "What I've Done" - Linking Park

LP's second appearance. They completely won me over again with this song. It touches the soul, and the video has a strong message.
Quote: Erase myself. And let go of what I've done .

134: "Californication" - The Red Hot Chili Peppers

RHCP's second appearance as well. I love the video, it's kind of like a video game. And the song is fantastic. A made-up word turned into a show starring David Duchovny. Who would'a thought?.
Quote: A teenage bride with a baby inside getting high on information.

133: "Pray" - Take That

Take That was by far the gayest boyband in the history of boybands. But... I kinda liked them. They made some really bad music, but some really nice songs as well. I love this one, really... sexeh. But don't worry, no more boybands on the list. Robbie appears a second time with this song =|.
Quote: Surely we must be in sight of the dream we long to live.

132: "Unintended" - Muse

Muse! I love Muse's weird hard rock just as much as their softer songs like this one. It's beautiful, and the video is very... eh... weird. But artsy. Perfect!.
Quote: You could be my unintended. Choice to live my life extended.

131: "More Than Words" - Extreme

Another beautiful song, a duet between two girly-looking dudes. Agh, can't help it. It's a wonderful song to listen to. Lyrics is very cheesy, but I can live with it.
Quote: What would you do if my heart was torn in two?

130: "Don't Speak" - No Doubt

Second No Doubt, and favorite. The song is very strong and Gwen obviously gives all. I like the video, it seemed very personal for the band.
Quote: Our memories. Well, they can be inviting. But some are altogether, mighty frightening.

129: "Cryin" - Aerosmith

A very sexy video with Alicia Silverson, Stephen Dorff and Josh Holloway (look close, he's the purse thief). The song is also great, great song to dump somebody.
Quote: I was cryin' when I met you, now I'm tryin' to forget you. Your love is sweet misery.

128: "Weapon" - Mathew Good

An intense song with a beautiful video. The video looks very simple, but if you look at it from a different perspective, it's fantastic.
Quote: Here by my side, an angel. Here by my side, the devil.

127: "Into The Void" - Nine Inch Nails

First NIN appearance on my list. The video is just kick-ass, as you are forced to see Trent from a very close perspective. And the song is magnificent, it calms me down. First time I heard this song was on Final Destination, so everytime I hear it I am reminded of that movie.
Quote: Pictures in my head of the final destination.

126: "Pure Shores" - All Saints

This song has been a favorite of mine since I can remember ranking songs. For some reason, it reminds me of a very good childhood memory. And it reminds me of the sea, and of peace. I love it.
Quote: The place where I wanna be is the place I can call mine.

125: "Thriller" - Michael Jackson

So many different versions, I chose a short one which might be a little confusing. but ya'll should look up the long version, 'cause it rocks. The video is just perfect, the song has become campy with time. but it's legendary.
Quote: No ones gonna save you from the beast about strike.

124: "If You Can't Say No" - Lenny Kravitz

Lenny is just quite the man, he brings so much sex-appeal to the song. the song is brilliant, and calming. Video is very futuristic.
Quote: I don't really want to know where you've gone or if it was better.

123: "Outside" - Staind

This song always reminds me of Ana-Lucia's first centric episode on Lost. The scene in the bar where she was waiting for the man she was about to kill. It's very emotionally draining and powerful.
Quote: I'm on the outside and I'm looking in, I can see through you, see your true colors.

122: "I Alone" - Live

Live's second appearance. The song is great, but what makes me love this is the video. Very original, very simple, very artsy. I love the facial expressions of the lead singer.
Quote: Only love can save us now.

121: "Pass That Dutch" - Missy Elliot

This one probably deserves to be up a LOT higher. The lyrics is perfect, very touching, honest and also -- absolutely hilarious. I can say the exact same thing about the video, very creative. Missy rules!
Quote: Aaliyah baby girl i've learned to love those while ther still awake. Sleep Sleep.

Peace Out, kids

Magic Three

Hey kids, I wasn't planning on making a blog this week. Don't really have the time =[

But I'm just gonna make one that takes me 10 minutes at most.

Life has been swell, school is keeping me busy but that's a good thing. I turned one of my cla$$ mates into a True Blood-fan, so that is very interesting. That show has me totally obsessed by the way, expect some reviews next week .

As theme for the blog, I thought i'd rank my three favorite season three gag reels. 'cause those are always entertaining.

Even if you don't watch the shows, just watch 'em

Angel: Season 3

Best Part: Julie Benz going into labor, but it sounding like something... else.

Best Quote: I looked at the *beep* wrong side of the camera - Keith Sarasomething

Lost: Season 3

Best Part: Emilie drowning and then Dom making her crack up. Hilarious XD

Best Quote: I feel like Darth Vader - Elizabeth Mitchell

*drumroll*

BSG: Season 3

This is the funniest gag reel i've ever seen. Enjoy.

Best Part: Soo many, but I loved the clips from the actors old movies.

Best Quote: *plays with Helfer* Put that on your perv tape - Lucy Lawless

Whoo, that's all for now

Now go make me proud and drink some of my True Blood.
