New banner, blog image, icon and profile icon....oh, and some other stuff too.
Oh, and i also started using the Ice Light Theme, which is pretty cool.
☻I also leveled up a couple of days ago. Going slow but always moving forward
☻The release date of Ultimate Ghosts `n Goblins has been moved up a week to next tuesday. I`m looking forward to getting the game. I mean, it`s an old school side-scroller, what could go wrong? *crosses fingers*
☻Downloaded Texas Hold `Em Poker last night. The game is pretty simple, but hey, what can we expect from a poker game? It has the basic stuff there. Multiplayer with tournaments and stuff should last a long time. Overall i think it`s a good game. It was about time a poker game was released.
☻What does this holiday season spell for us gamers? DISASTER. The huge amount of games and the coming of the PS3 and the Wii are sure to blow a big deep hole in everyone`s wallet. Since i don`t grow money on my backyard, i`ll have a tough time trying to decide what to get. The one thing for sure i know i`m getting is Twilight Princess, either on Wii or GC. But besides Zelda, so many huge titles are also coming to all platforms(no, not you Xbox, you`re dead). That`s the problem of owning multiple consoles *shakes head*. But i`m sure in the end everyone`s gonna have a blast playing whatever it is they have bought
I think that`s it. Take care now, bye-bye then.
One for me, one for you, one for him, one for her
Anyway, since i liked the DS Lite so much i decided to get one for me along with Castlevania Dawn Of Sorrow which is another great game too. But back to New Super Mario Bros. I showed the game to my sister along with the mini games included in it and she also loved it. Now she got one too! But that´s not all. I also showed it to my girlfriend and she liked it so much that i had to give one to her too along with Nintendogs (Chihuahua edition by the way
My cousin saw it and he liked it so much that he decided to sell his PSP and order one as well.
Man. Nintendo must be doing something right with their portable machines.
Now i´m looking forward to getting Zelda Phantom Hourglass when it´s released
After watching all Pre-E3 Press Conferences...afterthoughts
Before E3 began, i thought i had my next-generation plan all worked out . I already own a Xbox 360 and i was sure i was gonna purchase a Wii and a PS3 at some point, which would have been a real hit to my wallet. But now, i´m not so sure anymore. At least for the Wii. I honestly can´t picture myself as one of the people playing with the controller in the videos. Too much hazzle. Too much movement. But i´ll probably buy a one anyway when a new ZELDA is released, and by then i believe the console would have already seen a price drop, which will be good of course.
In regards to the PS3, i was pretty disappointed too that they decided to jump in to the motion sensing technology thing with the controller. I just hope games like MGS4 and Gran Turismo don´t put a lot of use on it because those are the only 2 games that will probably make me buy a PS3 when they get a release date. The price was fine for me, i was worried it might have been higher. They didn´t talk much about their ¨online plan to kill Xbox Live¨, which was a let down too. Also pretty disappointed that the controller design didn´t change much. They´ve been using practically the same model for three generations now. How about a change, uh?
In regards to the Xbox 360, i won´t write much, because not much happened. There´re are some interesting games on the horizon that already have my attention, like Gears Of War, Wining Eleven, Splinter Cell, and most importantly, Halo 3, which will be awesome.
I think that´s it for now. Let the E3 madness continue!
Back home
How´s it going guys? I just got back from my trip to Orlando, Fl. It was a very nice and pleasant trip. Had a blast on all the theme parks (specially in Universal). But the most fun i had was in the first game of the WBC when Dominican Republic defeated Venezuela 11-5. There were a lot of fellow Dominicans there, didn´t know there were gonna be that many, and we got to see all those superstars (Ortiz, Pujols, Alou, Tejada, Beltre) playing together in the same team. It was a trip i´ll never forget.
On to the game related news. I picked up G.R.A.W. while there and Winning Eleven 9 for the PSP. Both are great games and i can already tell i´m gonna be playing G.R.A.W. on Xbox Live for many months. Last night i played a 15 min deathmatch with like 10 other people and ended up with 44 kills, 23 more than the guy that finished 2nd. I don´t if i´m really good at the game or the other guys were bad, but it certainly felt good to finish 1st and by that much.
That´s all there is for now, hope you guys are doing ok.
HEY hey, i am going to Disneyland baby!
And so i´m off. Today i will travel to Orlando, Fl. for a full week, to watch my Dominican Republic team kick some butt in the World Baseball Classic. Yep, gonna go watch the 3 first round games against Venezuela, Italy and Australia. And since the games are tuesday, thursday and friday, me and the members of my family that are going said hey, why not spend the rest of our time wandering around on amazing Disney parks like MGM, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, etc. We´re also gonna go to Universal Studios and Busch Gardens which also have some great rides.
Hey, i was there last year and had a blast with all the attractions and i´m sure this trip will surpass it (since we´re adding the baseball thing).
Anyway, i´ll be gone until Sunday probably so i hope you guys have a good time here on Gamespot.
And remember to be good to each other.
Have A Nice Day.
