Closure of Super Sayians United: Although it may feel that SSU closed last year, it officially closed this year on 16th February. I will admit I have missed it, and at times even considered asking dbz345 to re-open it again, just to experience it again. It was the only union I was a member of eversince it began. I've seen its growth and its decline; its beginning and its end. I was promoted as an Officer of the union too in its early days, and gave dbz345 lots of advice and help with running the union. I was proud of the union, and closing it was for the best... it didn't deserve to decay anymore.
What I miss most however is the co-operation with dbz345 (a good e-friend of mine that I've known nearly eversince I first started using GS). He was truly exceptional, with his balanced approach towards governing the union. He cared much for it, and did his very best to try and combat the inevitable decline of the union. If I was to ever start a union again, you can definitely count him as one of my Officers.
Ranger Recognition: While I have been a Greeter for well over a year now, just months ago that position was officially recognised by GameSpot, and was therefore known as Ranger. As the iconical Ranger emblem says, Rangers are not Moderators, but helpers of GameSpot, that have been selected for their expertise knowledge and expericence on an area. Each Ranger is designated to a board to assist their fellow GS users on. I am a Ranger of How to GameSpot, along with carstairs, siberian142 and robbristow.
I have very much enjoyed fulfilling the role of a Ranger, and co-operating with the other Rangers and Moderators of HtG. It has allowed me to also make new e-friends on GS, and more interaction with other GS users, particularly Caddy06_88 and chicknfeet. I will happily continue with the role, and hope the HtG team feel the same way as I do.
That's all I have to say for this year unfortunately. I haven't gamed much, and the games I have played, have been good, but not quite what I was expecting, and so, I would say it's been a disappointing year for gaming (at least for me). I hope that's not the same for everyone else.
I have however had a relaxing and well deserved break, and I am ready to enter the New Year, with an optimal outlook. I hope everyone on GS can say the same for that too, as remember: in games, there exists a 'Continue'; in life, there is no 'Continue'...
So it's currently snowing in Texas (gasp!!) and not just in the panhandle where it's no surprise. It's literally been snowing nonstop today, and with temperatures not going above freezing, I get treated to a white Christmas!! 
It's a rarity here, for sure. I'm sure anyone living up north is like "Meh. We get a white EVERYTHING." but you have to understand it's pretty amazing considering that yesterday, it is in the mid 70s and then it drops down to below freezing overnight. That's quite an achievement even for bipolar Texas weather. Ahh well.
Well, that's it for now... here's a pic of my car somewhat covered in snow, it may not be too impressive but the 50+ MPH wind gusts today haven't allowed much to accumulate on my car. The ground is a different story. Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone!!

Btw, I have a question for those wth Dragon Age: Origins--I got some codes that I can redeem to get some DLC... and it says it is one time use only. So, does it mean I can only download the DLC once, or does it mean I can only use that code for one DLC account (but I can do unlimited downloads if ever I change my PS3's HDD)?

Yeah, I had a pretty hectic junior year, which is the most intense one in my school. I had to take the SAT, ACT, and some AP tests. I'm not getting ready for finals which are this week. I think I'm gonna be active again this summer, since I'm gonna be a senior next year, and all I have to do is college apps and essays.
Well guys, I'll drop off next week after hell is over (aka this week)
So yeah, I was pretty much gone all year. What series do you think I should watch this summer, when the so called time comes back to my life, lol

Yes im quite proud of this lol. I made some writing for 'cold core 13' which was one of the names for a unreal tournament 2004 map i made (dreaming of future things lol) and i put a 'rocky' background texture against it, then i put a blue tint, well translusent raster layer, then used the ripple effect in paint shop pro, then alterd the contrast and lightness a little for a slightly better look. What do you think?

Though with my AOL browser it doesn't work, (using FireFox right now) I don't mind it, you guys (most of you anyway) have been practically begging for GS to make bigger avatars even larger than the new size, again no harm intended but it sounds more as if you brought this more on yourself, however this is my opinion.

Well with my last post I guess I was a bit of a liar. I had a few things to do as far as my job and other things, But anyway, I'm back. Now just to warn everyone I'm not going to be as active as I was before the whole thing began, But I will at least be here a few times a week.
I will not be joining anyones union, so don't send any invites.
Anyway, For the most part everything is back to normal. I'm not going to take back the Final Fantasy Universe Union. and Gamergirl, it was dead before I left the first time, it wasn't your fault. It was my incompetence as a leader. I tried to make it work but perhaps I'm not the best candidate for a leader. So don't beat yourself up over the death of the union.
Well I’m back from my two week holiday, never actually told anyone that I had left on GS, ops! Anyways I’m back and have a few great ideas for a union so everyone watch what’s coming your way!
Who would have thought that the two games that would keep me most entertained were Typing of the Dead and Galaga.. and a little WoW on the side (of course). I beat Typing of the Dead like 10 times and then I unlocked "Vs CPU mode" and then working on that.. and then discovered the awesome-ness that is drill mode.
Also, I don't think I've ever watched as many movies as I have this past week than I have in a very very long time.. maybe forever
I wonder if I can make a list.The Royal Tenenbaums, Superman Returns, The Devil Wears Prada, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Must Love Dogs, Kung Fu Hustle, Reservoir Dogs, Spider-man, Being John Malkovich, The 40 Year Old Virgin....
