Took me long enough, but here he is, the best character in any fighting game ever, Scorpion.

Origin-

Scorpion was born by the name Hanzo Hasashi. He was given the codename Scorpion sense he was the Shirai Ryu's finest warrior. His father had forbid Hanzo to enter the Shirai Ryu, as he didn't want Hanzo living the life of an assasin. But, he joined the Shirai Ryu to give his wife and son a comfortable life (wait wtf).

Storyline-

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero:

He first appears storyline wise in this game. He was enlisted by Quan Chi to find a map to the temple of elements, if he succeeds, Quan Chi wipes out the opposing clan. IF you read my Sub-Zero 101, you know that Quan Chi goes to the Lin Kuei and strikes the same deal. Scorpion had made it 2 the map room, and then out of nowhere Sub-Zero shows up. So a fight breaks out, and somehow Scorpion loses to Sub-Zero, infact he gets his Spine removed. Scorpions soul is then sent to netherrealm where quite few things happen 2 Scorpion's appearance (but I won't bring that up this is about the storyline). So Sub-Zero appears in the Netherrealm and meets Scorpion once again. Where Sub-Zero is able to escape Scorpions wrath. After Sub-Zero escapes the Netherealm, Scorpion is invited by Shang Tsung to participate in the Mortal Kombat tournament.

Mortal Kombat:

While on the boat to Shang Tsungs island, Scorpion came across Sub-Zero, grabbed him by the throat and vowed that Sub-Zero would die during this tournament. While Scorpion and Sub-Zero did not meet during the actual tournament, they met during it's ending. Scorpion and Sub-Zero fight which ends in Sub-Zero's death. After killing Sub-Zero Scorpion returned to the Netherrealm.

Mortal Kombat 2:

Scorpion heard that Sub-Zero was going to compete in a tournament held by Shao Kahn. He was shocked to hear that Sub-Zero somehow survived. So he followed Sub-Zero and witnessed Sub-Zero spare the life of another warrior. He came to realize that this Sub-Zero (yes I said "this" Sub-Zero) was the younger brother of his murderer, who was sent to kill Shang Tsung. He then vowes to protect the younger Sub-Zero as atonement for murdering the older Sub-Zero.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3:

Shao Kahn tried to invade the Netherrealm and Scorpion was set free. Shao Kahn recognized his warrior skills and offer Scorpion a position in his army. Scorpion betrays Shao Kahn when he sees that the younger Sub-Zero is one of Earthrealms chosen fighters. So he sides with Raiden's forces and they succeed in defeating Shao Kahn.

Mortal Kombat 4:

Scorpion somehow got it into his head that the younger Sub-Zero was the murderer of his family and clan. Quan Chi offered Scorpion life in exchange for his assistant against the elder gods. Scorpion accepted only to fight Sub-Zero. He found Sub-Zero and proved far to strong for him (fwi Noob Saibot or the Elder Sub-Zero is the stronger of the 2 Sub-Zeros). With Sub-Zero defeated Scorpion thought he could finally rest, but Sub-Zero reveals he had nothing to do with the murder of the Shirai Ryu. Quan Chi then reveals that he's the one who set up the death of the Shirai Ryu and tries to send Scorpion back to the Netherrealm. However Quan Chi didn't realize his true potential and Scorpion brought him back to the Netherealm with him.

Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance:

While in the Netherrealm Quan Chi was tortured and beaten senseless by Scorpion. Quan Chi eventually struck a deal with Moloch and Drahmin to hold off Scorpion, which they did. Scorpion eventually went through the same portal Quan Chi did, but ended up in a different location. He hunted Quan Chi and ended up in the bottem of Shang Tsungs palace, where he once again found Moloch and Drahmin. He fought well but was overpowered and thrown into a Soulnado, thinking it would end Scorpion completly.

Mortal Kombat Deception:

Before he could be ripped apart, Scorpion jumped through The Void and saw something that would change him forever. He found the Elder Gods who knew he was there and transformed him completly. Making him much more powerful and was given a new task. Destroy Onaga before he can merge the Kamidogu together.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon:

It is not known who defeated Onaga yet, however it is hinted in Armageddon's konquest mode that Scorpion succeeded. As he mentions that he completed the task the Elder Gods request of him, but they promised to bring back the Shirai Ryu. However they were brought back as hellspawns, disgusted by this he vowed to kill Taven and Daegon, the elder gods 2 means of preventing Armageddon. However he was defeated by Taven. He was on the evil side during the final battle in Armageddon, but onlyto fight Sub-Zero. Sense the ending of Armageddon isn't known, we don't know who walks away with that god-like power (praying it's Scorpion though).

Ok so that's all you need to know about Scorpion, if you couldn't tell he's my favorite MK character and umm tell me who to do next, catch you guys later.

Before anyone asks why I did Sub-Zero, this is for my friend Sean, he is a huge MK fan, but doesn't know much about the Storyline.

Basically the same as Noob Saibot, if you wanna see look for that one (this covers the younger Sub-Zero btw).

Storyline-

Mortal Kombat 2:

The Sub-Zero we all know and love first appears in Mortal Kombat 2, where he and his best friend Smoke are actually suppose to be on a mission, but are accidently sent to the tournament held by Shao Kahn. So he and Smoke ally with the heroes to defeat Shao Kahn. Scorpion hears that Sub-Zero somehow survived his murder. So during the tournament Scorpion and Sub-Zero fight, but Scorpion spares his life. I'll explain the reason for that in Scorpion's 101 when i get it done, but during that fight with Scorpion, Sub-Zero gains a scar, this has become one of Sub-Zero's most recognizable traits.

Mortal Kombat 3:

During MK3, the Lin Kuei have found a way to turn there ninja's into cyborgs. There were 4 chosen for this Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke, and Sub-Zero. Sektor and Cyrax turn into robots willingly. Smoke and Sub-Zero don't like this idea. They enjoy having free will and they escape the Lin Kuei. The Lin Kuei capture Smoke and program him to kill Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero is able to Convince Smoke that he still has a human soul and together they defeat and reprogram Cyrax to kill Shao Kahn. Both Smoke and Sub-Zero then help Raiden's forces defeat Shao Kahn once again.

Mortal Kombat 4:

In MK4 Sub-Zero doesn't play a big role, but wears his older brothers costume. During MK4 however he gets his ass handed to him by Scorpion who somehow got it into his head that the younger Sub-Zero killed the clan members of the Shirai Ryu. When Scorpion has finally defeated Sub-Zero he says "Your soul will never rest Scorpion, the Lin Kuei may have been responsible for your murder, but your families true killer still remains free." I'll explain the rest in Scorpions 101 because Sub-Zero doesn't really doesn't do anything else until Deadly Alliance.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance:

Right before the events of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance Sektor kills the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei to take control. For some reason Sektor has to challenge Sub-Zero for control of the Lin Kuei. Sub-Zero sees Sektor as a threat and a way back into the clan so he accepts. He defeats Sektor and becomes the Grandmaster, gaining the Dragon Medallion, which greatly enhances his powers. Despite being the Grandmaster he doesn't gain the respect of his fellow clan members, as he's still a relatively young leader, can can still be called a rogue. To gain the respect of his clan he holds a tournament to gain new recruits. While at the same time he is asked by Raiden to defeat the newly created Deadly Alliance (which is Quan Chi and Shang Tsung). He agrees and brings the warrior Frost, who is also a cryomancer. Before he can go fight off the Deadly Alliance, Frost blasts Sub-Zero and Steals the Dragon Medallion. However, Frost is not as powerful as Sub-Zero and freezes herself. Sub-Zero blames himself for this saying it's his fault she was so corrupt. So he brings her to the North Pole to bury her. While there however he finds the frozen corpses of his ancestors, they must have been the first cryomancers to come to Earthrealm. So he decides to move the Lin Kuei to this temple of his ancestors, which is where he gets the sweet samurai armor in Deception.

Mortal Kombat: Deception:

In Deception Sub-Zero doesn't play a huge role. However Frost wakes up and kills several Lin Kuei members. Sub-Zero gets pissed, kicks the crap out of her, and freezes her in a block of ice. Knowing she'll pay for her crimes one day. For one reason or another he follows Smoke to the netherrealm, to see someone he never expected to find in the Netherrealm Noob Saibot, his older brother. Noob Saibot sees his brother and Noob-Smoke attacks Sub-Zero.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon:

Sub-Zero's bio wasn't released, so we don't know much about him in armageddon, but he does appear in the Konquest mode. He encounters Taven, who was looking for a gift his mother left him. They fight and it basically ends in a draw and they ally with each other to fight off the invaders. Sub-Zero eventually comes across Noob Saibot again who proved to powerful for Sub-Zero. After Taven defeats Noob Saibot, Sub-Zero tries to bring Noob back to his former self, whether he is successful or not is unknown.

Ok so that was Sub-Zero, I know it was long, but that's all you need to know about him, he will appear in MK vs DC, but I still don't know if that's a continuation from Armageddon. Oh and tell me who you guys want done next

Ok most of you are probably surprised as to why I'm not doing Scorpion first (sense he is my favorite character) but doing this one will make my Sub-Zero 101 easier so here we go

Origin-

Noob Saibot was originally known as Sub-Zero and was the fifth person to bear that title, he was born in america and his father (the 4th Sub-Zero) was a chinese cryomancer, his mother was a normal american woman. He had a younger brother and a younger sister. His father took both sons back to china to train them into lin kuei warriors, much to the mother's dismay.

Storyline-

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero:

Noob Saibot's first appearance storyline wise is in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. Where he was hired by the sorcerer Quan Chi to find a map to the temple of elements. When he entered the map room he came across a japanese ninja from the lin kuei's opposing clan the Shirai Ryu Hanzo Hasashi. Sub-Zero defeats Hanzo Hasashi and rips his spine out (that had to hurt). So he brings the map back to the lin kuei temple. The grandmaster of the lin kuei had made a deal with Quan Chi, which was if Sub-Zero got the map, Quan Chi would bring a butt load of money and wipe out the opposing clan. Sub-Zero did succeed and Quan Chi went through with his deal by wiping out the Shirai Ryu. Sub-Zero is then again hired by Quan Chi to go to the temple of elements and get a medallion Quan Chi is looking for. Sub-Zero does this and when he does find the amulet Quan Chi does appear to him some how and basically says "haha retard u just got me my master medallion" Sub-Zero is confused and Quan Chi escapes into the netherrealm. Raiden then appears to Sub-Zero and basically says "you just brought about earthrealms destruction, fix this or we're screwed" so Sub-Zero travels to the netherrealm where he not only has to find Quan Chi, but he comes across the vengeful soul of Hanzo Hasashi who is the ninja spectre Scorpion. Sub-Zero manages to defeat Scorpion and runs off. He eventually comes across Quan Chi who tells Sub-Zero that you can only be in the Netherrealm if your soul is evil and offers him a position in the Brotherhood of Shadow, Sub-Zero denies the offer and beats the hell out of Quan Chi. That's when Quan Chi's henchwoman Sareena (with a change of heart) appears to Sub-Zero and asks if she can come back to earth realm with him. Before he can answer Shinnok shoots Sareena. So Sub-Zero grabs the medallion and before Shinnok can do anything, Sub-Zero escapes through Raiden's portal. Sub-Zero asks Raiden if his soul is tainted with evil Raiden says "Yes but only you can change that." This is when he was accepted into the Mortal Kombat tournament do to Shang Tsungs request, but he is told by the grandmaster to kill Shang Tsung.

Mortal Kombat:

So Sub-Zero is in the Mortal Kombat tournament to kill Shang Tsung, before the tournament actually begins he is grabbed by Scorpion who says "You killed me in cold blood 1 year ago today, I can kill you right now, but I'm not a muderer, during this tournament Sub-Zero you will die." Shang Tsung is defeated by the Shaolin Monk Liu Kang. After the actual tournament Sub-Zero is confronted by Scorpion and they fight. Scorpion proves far to strong for Sub-Zero and in a change of pace, kills Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero was destined to be killed by Scorpion and is sent to the NeterRealm, where he is transformed into the wraith Noob-Saiot, where he becomes an incredibly loyal servant of Shinnok.

Mortal Kombat 2:

Noob Saibot storyline wise doesn't do a whole lot in Mortal Kombat 2, he observes the tournament for Shinnok but that's about it.

Mortal Kombat 3:

Noob Saibot was ordered by Shinnok to work with Shao Kahn, however as Shao Kahn was losing, Shinnok ordered him to help Raiden defeat Shao Kahn, however Shao Kahn didn't know this.

Mortal Kombat 4:

Shinnok has ascended from the Netherrealm and he now served Shinnok directly. However Shinnok was defeated by Liu Kang and the BrotherHood of shadow had ended there. So Noob Saibot returned to Shao Kahn's service.

Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance:

Storyline wise he fought against Kitana's army of Shokan, and mortally wounded Goro in a sneak attack.

Mortal Kombat Deception:

With both Shao Kahn and Shinnok considered dead, Noob Saibot decided to no longer serve a master and became his own master. He was completly uninterested in the return of Onaga the Dragon King and his plan was to make his own army or demonic ninjas. He searched Shao Kahn's fortress and found his younger brothers old ally Smoke (who had been turned into a cyborg) and reprogrammed him to do his bidding. With Smoke's nao-technology he was gonna rule the neterrealm with cyber demons.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon:

When goin to the NetherRealm to start making there cyber demons, Noob Saibot's brother Sub-Zero appears before him. They attack Sub-Zero, but before they can kill him, Sarenna appears and holds them off. They back off, but left Sub-Zero unconscious. They later invade the Lin Kuei temple to turn the Lin Kuei itno there warriors. Noob Saibot came across Sub-Zero and kicked to crap outta him. Taven then finds Sub-Zero and beats Noob Saibot. Sense the true ending of Armageddon hasn't been revealed yet we don't know whats happened as of yet.
