I've heard this a long time ago but I haven't seen anyone talk about it so apparently they got some new policy up that states that if you buy a game "and you don't like it" you can return it back and get a full refund of your money. Two problems with this; one you can beat majority of games in less than a week, and two its opinonated on what someone likes so therefore they just don't make any profit.

This new policy makes no business sense whatsover.

Okay so roll with him on this one I would defintely throw top dollar at some one to do this. Here's his idea: "2d metroidvania on the ps3, full retail game with huge castle and 1080p super high res sprites".

So just think of this Castlevania: Symphony of the Night times 1000!

I'll be busy for awhile with these and a bunch of other games I need to finish.

Believe it or not I keep an eye out for games based historically and or retaining to literature so with the demo being released I finally have something to see. I must say I really hated myself while playing it because I couldn't help but compare it to God of War and take two of the characters and compare it to Devil May Cry and a little bit of Castlevania.

First thing that ticked me off was at the start screen the selection for the difficulties are just two which makes the game very easy even the description of the difficulties makes it sound easy.

Classic: "The minions of Hell cower in fear before you"

Zealot: "The minions of Hell will pose a threat, but ultimately cannot withstand you"

The difficulties for Hellish and Infernal are locked, which ticks me off because usually if I buy a game I make it as hard as possible to get more time out of it.

Either way you start off the game with a CGI cutscene of Dante and what appears to be of him sewing a clothed cross onto his chest which is not explained at all. Then as the camera goes along the cross it takes you back to a flashback of the crusades where Dante is killing innocent people in Jerusalem you then take control of him and are fighting against about 30 soldiers which at this point all you have to do is mash the square button. Afterwards a cutscene omitts in where one of the soldiers sneaks up behind Dante and stabs him in the back with a knife. Then ode and behold Death himself appears and states that Dante is damned for killing the innocent, point being Dante gets ticked off and tries to take on Death a feat I haven't seen done since the numerous Belmonts in the Castlevania series. Death does pose a threat but in the end you take him down and kill him with his own scythe another feat I haven't seen done since Richter Belmont in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Note that in the end of fight Death called out for help and said "please."

Dante goes back to the order of his church seeking to redeem himself with Death's scythe on his back to see that the order is dead along with his loved one (I could not spell her name right to save the life of me). Her soul appears and says I'm sorry but I had to tell them I knew you would come here then her soul is dragged by some kind of dark spirit or something its not really explained. Your then told how you can upgrade your techniques by collecting white souls so after thats done you fight what appears to be ghouls in a graveyard not too much to complain about. Afterwards you go into a crypt to see the soul of your loved one being raped in which then after that conversation you obtain a cross embeded with holy powers as a range weapon. After a quick demo on how to use it you fight a bunch of ghouls and flying creatures as the monestary is falling apart. One thing I have to say about the cross is theres no clear way of knowing if your hitting the enemy with it unless you look at the combo counter but a little burn affect would've been nice I mean you see blood being spread about when you use the scythe. You also have more options for the grab since you have the cross once you grab the enemy you get a choice of "Punish" or "Absolve." Punish just works the same as ripping someone in half in God of War, Absolve has Dante point the cross at the enemy which omitts a beam of light by mashing on the circle button biggest flaw in this is your open to an enemy attacking you and theres no consquence of just using Punish so its kinda useless.

After a talk with the ghost poet Vergil in front of the outer gate to hell you fight a mixture of demons and ghouls. Then a giant creature appears with a rider in which after some slashing and QTE you gain control of the creature just like in GOW 3 with the cyclops. After easily killing the surrounding enemies you use the creature to open up the gates to hell which ends the demo.

Well thats about all I got to say about it, if this looks to be the final product I think more people will wait for GOW 3 then this which is coming in Feburary. Overall though its a decent game just way too easily.

I could bore you with a lengthy blog about how I've speculated Yakuza 3 coming to NA and EU but instead I'll let this do the talking.

Thank you Sega you may have crushed my dreams of never seeing Shenmue 3 or a decent Sonic game but you redeem yourself with Valkyria Chronicles and Yakuza

Saw an interesting article from FeltLyner on his affinity of wind; so I've just been doing the usual and questioning my existance in this world, I have to compare myself to a cloud wandering aimlessly with no intended purpose; for the reason of not knowing my place in this world.

How is it that Dragon Age Orgins for the PS3 has a .5 higher rating then the 360 version?

I mean majority of the time with GS its the same rating or the 360 version of a multiplatform game gets the higher rating but this... I don't know what to think.... So I'll let you guys do it for me!

On to the topic at hand, it came to my attention that their is a Japanese art contest for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. You must be thinking right now how the hell do I know that well it so happens that Evangalion creator Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, Twilight manga artist Ryuji Gotsubo, and Hideo Kojima are judging the art work for this contest. When I read that I said "okay no big deal uhh its just kinda Bishonen art rite its used in a lot of anime and manga right?"

No this is where the big thing is this line in the article states that Hideo Kojima and party are huge fans of Stephenie Meyers Twilight Series.

I know take a deep breath... How the hell can he possibly like her VAMPIRE SERIES, Kojima and Sadamoto makes better plot then Stepenie Meyer (and by the way the end of Evangalion blew my F'ing mind) not to mention she just basically raped the entire Vampire Folklore and rewrote the entire thing!

Vampires I'm good with a few changes such as not being able to turn into a bat or not having fangs but one that is drastic enough to make it so they don't die by sunlight and instead have "glitter skin" is where I draw the line.

Stephenies Meyer as far as I'm concerned killed everything I loved about Vampires, I swear to god if Castlevania ever changed the Vampire Folklore like that I probably would of gone insane.

One of my favorite people on this site Kravyn81 just recently posted a very interesting blog on the case of common courtsey for pre-owned games for not including cover-art or a manuels.

So I decided to go on my own little rant about Gamestop on a topic that's been covered plenty of times. WTF is with all the freaking stickers on the cases? I actually spent roughly 2 and a half hours getting all the stickers off of my used collection of games because I'm now not going to trade any games I buy anymore. The first policy from GS was to have 1 sticker on the front, one on the back (resonable), then it went to five stickers (what the f*ck were they thinking?), and now its three stickers one on the front, (inside the spine), and on the back. The reason I'm ranting about this now is because my copy of God Hand (Great game by the way) I'm glad to see their doing this differently but my copy of God Hand had a sticker on the freaking cover-art of the case if I didn't take my time to take it off it would've ruined the cover-art (took me 30 mins to get all of it off).

I mean comeon the least they could of done is put it on the outside of the cover-art its just like Kravyn81 said "It's just common courtsey"

If your reading this Kravyn I know its not as long as yours but hopefully its meaningful

I've wanted one since they came out at the $250 mark though I couldn't really justify it with the way the game library was. Then my best friend got one with both Metal Gear Ac!d's and Portable Ops so I just mooched it off him until he after I beat his Killzone Liberation. Afterwards he went to College took his PSP and there was still a lot of games I wanted to play current and upcoming. So I managed to find a 2000 model for $120 and I also got a 2gb memory stick and if you truly know me I'm a really avid Castlevania fan so I also got Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles along with FF 7 Crisis Core since I love the FF Franchise too (except X-2 there is no love for that title).

So to end a story really short I'm happy, entertained, and I have something to do when I'm not doing book work at college.

I also just recently played the MGS Peace Walker Demo which I'll probably write my impressions on that later.

The story goes a 15 year old boy named Michael Brewer owed this gang of teenage boys $43 dollars for a video game so, when Michael couldn't pay for it they attempted to steal his dads custom made bike as compensation however, this is where the story gets ugly. Michael reported that the gang of boys tried to steal the bike. Later the next the day Michael decides to skipped School to visit a friend the group of teenage boys jumped him called him a "Snitch" then they doused his body in rubbing alchol and set Michael on fire.

Michael attempted to stop drop and roll to get rid of the flame but it wasn't enough so he jumped into a pool of water located near the apartment complex he was going to visit his friend. When the paramedics and police got over there from the 911 call they found that 75% of Michaels body was burns from the fire. His hair was burned off but his face wasn't badly damaged. As of now Michael is under heavy sedation, and breathing with the aid of a ventilator as of now his body is at a high risk for organ failure and infection.

Bent, 15-year-old Denver Colorado Jarvis, his brother, 13-year-old Jeremy Jarvis, Steven Shelton and Jesus Mendez were all charged with aggravated battery in the attack. Mendez was charged with attempted second-degree murder because police said he started the fire.

All five teens have been ordered held for 21 days in a juvenile detention center until prosecutors determine whether to charge them as adults.

So what kind of a hellish world is this where teenagers have the gall to actually do something a psychopath would think of?

"Just a few days ago Sega rep Aaron Webber commented that the possibility of Yakuza 3 coming to the U.S. still exists and that it's a subject discussed quite often at Sega. Today we can do one better: we've learned that the PS3 exclusive is indeed coming west. According to sources close to the project, Yakuza 3 is currently being localized for release in the U.S. and European markets.

And while this is still not the official confirmation many are seeking, it's definitely reason to keep up hope. We anticipate more news on this front will be coming from Sega -- or another publisher, were the game shopped around -- in the coming weeks or months. It's possible we could even hear sooner: the Tokyo Game Show occurs later this week, and if you remember, Sega announced Yakuza 2 for the U.S. at the 2007 show.

HELL KNOWES NO FURY LIKE SPARTAN-1775 PI$$ED OFF

I'm sure as you all know with the upcoming fall lineup we have plenty of graphical powerhouse titles that will grace themselves upon our TV's and have us weep in joy, but as some of you might know I like to go back in time to play a lot of games that I couldn't get hands on when I was a kid. I was born in the NES vs. Genesis Era I knew at one point I had an NES, Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo don't know what happened to the NES and SNES but I still have my Genesis where I whip it out and play it sometimes heck I even have one of those plug in TV games joysticks that has 12 Atari 2600 games.

Either way I digress, upon looking at some news items at N4G.com I stumbled across a game with no surprise it's a PS3 Exclusive so I decided to looked at the comments to see some flameing fanboy action but instead I saw the title 3D Dot Game Heroes. So I wondered what could this game be about and I decided to watch the trailer with my eyes widening at what I saw.

When I saw this I saw a good old fashioned adventure game some evil is lurking in a kingdom, a hero must rise to the challenge and collect several objects, then conquer the evil thats plaguing the land. It looked like an 8-Bit game for about 1 second played 8-Bit styled music and then wham it takes 8-Bit graphics and makes them 3-Dimensional without giving them polygon's or texture meshes for the characters such as Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Instead it gives the enviroment a lego like appearence which is perfect for me because there were three thing's I loved when I was a kid

1. Video Games (Great Guess huh)

2. Lego's or any other kind of model toy's for instance K'nex

3. Star War's Movies and Looney Toons

So two out of the three things I loved when I was a kid sounds like a good deal to me personally. This game is just an instant nostalgia ride for me.

LOOK AT IT! IT'S BEAUTIFUL! SO FREAKING SIMPLE YET CREATIVE!

This game will be released in Japan November 5th, 2009, I'm hopeing for localization or at the very least english text so I could import it, but d@mmit UC2 will be out and Demons Souls, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, God of War Collection, and Ratchet and Clank RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA TOO MANY FREAKING GAMES!

I highly recommend all of my friends to go to the main website and listen to the BG music it should bring up a lot of memories.

This is probably my biggest blog post ever.

As you can see the video is NGS 2 related but apparently they put in a new feature with the six-axis when your playing as female heorines Ayane, Rachel, or Momiji when you shake your controller it makes their breast bounce up and down. I don't know weither I should laugh since with the left of former Team Ninja head Tomonobu Itagaki nothing has really changed with the affinity of womens breast's from the company or become slightly disturbed with the use of the six-axis as a gimick.

For one reason they're bringing us alot of games this fall you know Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Demon's Soul, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, along with a killer 2010 lineup of MAG, GoW 3 and Heavy Rain but here's where the icing on the cake is.....

What this is it's a port of the PS2 games God of War and God of War 2 on a Blu Ray disc with extra features such as antialiasing, supports up to 720p, and trophy support this will be released in October for the price of $40

Why I'm excited for this is because this could be the next step into bringing PS2 greatest hits on the PS3 I for one would love to see a remastered Ico and Shadow of the Colossus bundle since I can't find Ico anywhere

Seriously in two days after the announcement of the PS3 Slim Cnet is still bashing Sony's Console (4 ARTICLES REGARDING PS3 SLIM!) last time I checked the only fault of the PS3 was it was expensive well it has cut its price in half since its launch so where is the problem?

The most retarded article being CNET recommending to buy a Sony VAIO over a PS3 Slim (Wait so the only way to fight against a Sony product is with another Sony product? WTF!)

Apparently some developers actually look at comments on the internet heres what he has to say,

Well as we all know 3D realms has unfortunately been shutdown and DNF release is looking grimer then ever, however one of the aniamators posted leaked gameplay footage for the game and I have only one thing to say "DON'T LET THE KING DIE JUST YET!"

Well it so happens that I went on N4G.com today and saw an article relating to Shenmue 3 being announced with excitement I clicked the link faster then you can say jiminiy cricket but to my surmise as I'm reading the article about people from the team of Shenmue and Yakuza 3 are joining together to make this game I looked at one of the images below it was a photoshoped image of a GTA 4 scene with Ryo Hazki pasted in it I then asked myself what day it was and realized April 1st, April Fools day........

In summation its really I mean really hard to tell in the video gaming industry if they are being serious when posting something like this or if its just a joke I think from now on I'll avoid all gaming related news on April 1st but seriously that toyed with my emotions wayyyyyyyyy too much!
