Oasis set out their stall with "Definitley Maybe", but Morning Glory is the real deal. From the unforgettable "Wonderwall", to the stupendous closer "Champagne Supernova", every minute of Morning Glory is one to be savoured. Noel Gallagher's songwriting technique showed its maturity on this recording - yet songs like "Some Might Say" and "Hey Now!" show that the same tricks that worked on the blustery "Definitley Maybe" can work twice. An album that all guitar bands should look to for inspiration.
