No, Spore, NO! TELL ME IT ISN'T SO!!!

I signed on today and I saw one of my most anticipated PC games of 2007...was no longer going to be released. Check out the bad news:

No more Spore in '07
Will Wright's ambitious evolution/civilization/creature creation title is now being targeted for spring 2008.

Although it is quite dissapointing I hope this game will end up becoming even better than before.

Black Mesa: Source Mod coming along Excellently!

I have always loved the original Half-Life just a little more than the second one, but I find myself having trouble going back and playing it since the graphics haven't really been up to par(well..it was made in 1998!  ). Valve released Half-Life: Source a couple years back, but it was far from "Sourcified" graphically and there were few differences between it and the original. The mod which I have been waiting for the most on the mod scene is Black Mesa: Source, truly integrating Half-Life into the Source engine. Finally, after a long time of silence, the Black Mesa: Source team gives us a video to salivate over.

AH! It looks even better than I imagined, I can't wait!

And I thought I was a huge fan of Half-Life 2!

Check out this guy's absolutely insane run of the Ravenholm level in Half-Life 2.

This makes me wonder...how many times did he actually play this level to get so good? Somebody needs to give this guy a medal or something just to help him forget that he doesn't have a life for one small moment.
