New computer is built and functional!
Well, I've been playing some games on my new comp for the last few days and everything is going well, it seems like all things are functioning properly. Here are my final stats:
Processor: Intel i7 920 Quad Core
Motherboard: Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Memory: 6gb Corsair Dominator 1600 (triple channel)
Power Supply: Corsair 850W Single 12v rail
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 7200rpm 640gb
Case: Cooler Master 932HAF
Video Card: Radeon 4850 X2 1gb
So far it runs TF2 and The Witcher in the highest settings with no hiccups at all, can't wait to try out crysis to see how I do. I have been wanting this computer for so long and finally set aside enough cash to buy it! I have a video of it that I will post on youtube.
Add me on Steam1
I have been playing an extreme amount of TF2 lately on Steam. For some reason, i think its the new achievements, i have renewed interest in this game. Its so fun trying to get the achievements and they actually mean something, when you unlock a certain amount you get new weapons and items. The weapons and items aren't overpowering either, but they are nice enough to make you want to try for them. My name on Steam is Dekline. Come join me!
I got a free HDTV!!!!
Yeah, I already have a 46" 1080P Vizio, but I now have a Samsung 46" DLP max 1080i, that I got for free. The guy that had it before already replaced it because it didnt work for him. The digital PCB went out on it, which controls the plugins for HDMI and the Coaxial, so he couldnt use hit DirecTV on it (he used coaxial plugin) therefore it was useless to him unless he wanted to pay 600$ to fix it. The part itself is about 400$ and labor was 200$. The AV\Component rails are completely intact though! So I can hook all my game systems up to this Television and it works perfect for me! So its my new gameroom TV and its fabulous! Zelda Twilight Princess looks completely awesome in 46" glory!
Finally, I can play these awesome games.
I inherited a motherboard from my buddy that had a PCI-e port on the motherboard so I bought an awesome video card, an HD4850 X2 1gb, to be exact. Now I can finally play the games I couldnt before because of bad framerates. Don't get me wrong, my 9800 Pro 128mb did good with me for a long time, but after overclocking it a while back, it had long surpassed it's abilities. I started out by diving straight into Red Alert 3, which ran ok on my 9800 Pro but I had to turn everything down and the game lacked a certain magic. Now with my new video card I am running the game at ultra high settings and it is amazing! With my newfound graphical power on my PC I plan on playing a lot of games I have missed out on because they didnt run well and some games that I am eagerly anticipating for the future, I will list then now:
Company of Heroes Gold Edition (original and and opposing fronts expansion)
Universe at War
World in Conflict
Supreme commander + exp.
Sins of a Solar Empire
Starcraft 2
and (droool....) Diablo 3
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
those are the games I have been most looking forward too, if you can't tell I am an RTS NUT!
Any more suggestions that I may have missed in the last few years of PC gaming, please tell meQ!
Thanks for reading, Patrick

I don't know what any of you people reading this have for your username so I must ask that you add me if you are interested. Maybe I will start making videos again...not sure, I did enjoy them at one time. Thanks everyone!
