What is up my Gamespot Readers, here's another exciting ( ) issue of my blog, yay! By the way, like the new picture? :D
I'm gonna get through the important stuff first, so first I'm gonna talk about the vidya gaemz I've been playing lately. (Ones I just started playing, that is.)
First up is Empire: Total War.

Despite only having 4 playable battles, including 2 tutorials, I've gotten more time out of the ETW Demo in just one weekend than out of the entire Dawn of War 2 Beta in the 3 weeks I've had it. It's rare that I play scenarios over and over again, and the only other time I have in a demo was with Left 4 Dead. ETW perfectly shows what it means to be a good RTS, it's deep and complex yet at the same time easy enough to get into. If you're a strategy fan I definitely advise you checking this out, from the demo alone I can tell that this will be a serious contender for my game of the year. The Main Menu music alone made me giddy for this game, like I want to go grab my musket and protect the colonies against the redcoats! My score: 9.5/10. However I'll have to wait till the full product comes out, that score might be boosted up to a 10 depending on the campaign!
Next up is BattleForge Beta!
I doubt many of you know anything about this game outside the recognition of the name. BattleForge is a trading card based RTS made by EA Phenomic (The guys behind SpellForce). It's quite interesting how it's done and it's hard to explain, but what I do know is it's pretty fun. It has a cartoony graphic setup similar to Warcraft 3, so if you're into that look it's right up your alley. The only problem I have with it is it's remarkably easy against the computer, even when they're on hard mode. I've yet to try out against other players, who I assume will be much harder. My score for it so far is 7.5/10! I'll see how good it is when I get more time to play it.
I've been playing a number of other games, but these are the newest ones so I wrote about them. :)
So onto Television shows.

Lie to Me is a show about liars, which I'm sure is pretty easy to guess. I've heard raving reviews about the show so I thought I'd check it out. It's pretty good, good enough that I've sat on Hulu and watched every single episode available. But why did I watch them? Well I did for the most part because I stayed home sick from ****and Work today and just watched it with a lack of anything else to do. I like it, it's cute, but I don't think it even near warrants the amount of Praise I've heard about it. It's really predictable and repetative (Always explaining EVERYTHING and whatnot). I'll give it a 6/10. I'm not giving it a D here, I consider 5 to be average. But it's just not what I was hoping it'd be.
That was my only TV show so I'll move onto the new part, Movies!
We'll start with Wyvern!
Hey TenP, why isn't there a Picture like the rest of them? Well I'll tell you, Wyvern is a Sci-Fi Original Picture. That means it's a B-Movie with no production value (That means no logo.) But I will say first I'm a little biased towards this movie, I love corny B-Movies and this one fits the role perfectly. It's about a small hillbilly town in Alaska that's attacked by a Wyvern (A Norse mythological Dragon, they keep trying to get the US Military involved but they all think it's hogwash so it's up to a trucker to save the day! I give it (on a B-Movie Scale, mind you) a 9/10! Terrible acting, hilarious awkwardness, and awful special effects! Just great for other B-Movie connoisseurs.
Next I'll go onto Splinter!
WHAT THE **** TENP, NO LOGO AGAIN? Well there are logos for this, but frankly I've gotten pretty lazy in the last 10 minutes of my life and I don't care to fix it to my 400x120 proportions and load it up (I might load them up later if I get less lazy). So I'll just be boring old text. Splinter is a movie about a convict and his wife who carjacks these hippies and takes them to a gas station. That's pretty much it.
Just kidding, there's a lot more to it. When they get to the gas station (to get coolant) they find that the gas station attendant isn't even there (the nerve). But when Mrs. Convict has to use the pisser, she finds the dead gas station attendant inside the loo. If you like Cactuses, and are intrigued by the thought of a Cactus Human Hybrid, check this out! For some reason it was actually rated as one of the best indie horror films of last year, but if you ask me it's just another B-Movie. On the B-Movie scale I'll rate it a whopping 11/10. Let me further explain the B-Movie scale for you, 10 for a B-movie is 5 for a regular movie. So that 11/10 would translate to a 5.5/10 in the hollywood movies.

So I'm sure you're all wondering about the review of Medieval 2 I promised last time, well I'll get it up eventually.
P.S. - last page of the Scout Update page is up. I can sum up my feelings in one word: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE
Anyway, to be cool like jg4x, here's a quizeroo! (finish it or fail the ****ing c-l-a-s-s)
1.) Do you like B-Movies?
2.) Are you as lazy as I am?
3.) Where is Jimmy Hoffa buried? (+10 bonus points if you're correct)
4.) If I dislike Lobster and Wine, why does my good taste badge have lobster and wine on it?
5.) Who wants to go kill some Redcoats?
