Scary stuff for our neighborhood
A neighbor went down to the lakefront to ride her bike and noticed a guy following her. When she got back, she did some research online and discovered that there are a few sexual predators on out block. And one lives in my apartment building. My mom knows who the guy is cause he is always nice to us. Held the door open for me a few times.
There are kids in out building and my mom is thinking of telling the parents. Anyways, another guy, who was convicted of 3rd degree sexual assualt, one tried to ask my mom out when she was going to the store. Another guys walks down our block everyday. Though she knows I'm pretty good at handling myself and don't talk to anyone who talks to me, she tells me to be wary. And tone down my walk.
Got my student ID taken again. Looks like a mug shot, not creepy, but like I wanna kill. I am gonna retake it next week. Gotta practice a look and a smile. Where I don't look as rough. And you can see my eyes.

Going to bed earlier is so hard
Since I have early cla$$es, a dance cla$$ at 9:30 in the morning, I figured I'd start going to bed 15 minutes earlier each day this week. Harder than I thought. Since I do a lot of stuff at night, I have less time. I figure I gotta go to bed between 1:30 AM and 2 AM. Here's my problem. I have trouble falling asleep. I can't fall asleep right away. I just hope I get used to it. During the year, I can stay up past 3, but for now I have to get used to going to bed earlier.
Hopefully, me going to bed earlier, which I hope I'll get used to and be able to fall to sleep faster, will cure those horrid bags under my eyes. I almost thought of getting a product or using a home remedy. Though through research, products are made for older people, and a 20-year old youngin' like me is not the target. I guess I am supposed to get more sleep and hopefully that'll be a natural cure.
My mom was talking to this woman who used to live down here, and my mom mentioned that I just had a birthday, and the woman said, "Oh, so she's 18 now?" And my mom went, "No, she just turned 20." I heard that and thought, "Oh come on, don't make me relive through the work I did then."

Democratic National Convention/Now the economy affects me/New vid
It is an overcast day, dark, and with a slight drizzle. A depressing day in appearance. Senator Barack Obama is being sworn in as President of these United States. After he finishes taking his oath on the holy Bible, and is announced as the new President, the clouds part, the sun shines, the rain stops, a rainbow appears, and the birds begin to sing. And all our problem are solved and our dreams come true because the man of hope and change himself, Barack Obama, is now President.
Well, that was my interpretation of some of the speeches I heard. I was bored & had nothing else to watch. But some of those speeches, Good Lord! They were so sickening. I turned off TV. Too much hope and "Obama will solve all our problems, while John McCain is an evil man and wants to be a continuation of Bush." Not true. Here's the fact of the matter - all candidates promise stuff. It is how they get elected. I did watch Hillary's speech. But there was a lot of phony looks on faces. I'm still a disgruntled Hillary supporter, and kept thinking, "She should be the one who gets the nomination. No one can solve all our problems, but she has more experience to help out more."
My loan for college has been prolonged cause of the state of the economy. Won't get into details, but this is one way it is really hurting. Here's what I wanna know - what will the candidates do for college students?
Finally, I have ANOTHER (my 4th) Bettie Page tribute vid. When I heard the song, I got the idea. I hate when my vids get low ratings. I work on em so hard. Though it is short, but still. I always have something at the end of the credits.

6 years of college?!
My mom was looking at something I got last year, I think for a grant, and it has me listed to graduate in May 2012. I thought I'd pry be in school maybe 2 more years and be out by 2010 or 2011. Maybe it is cause as a theatre major, it is a bit more demanding. Dunno. But I was hoping to be outta school by age 23 and working, not still in.
Course, it is supposed to be just an estimate. So we'll see. Technically, if I didn't take those 2 math cla$$es that didn't count, I wouldn't need to take anything next semester. Just stuff I wanted to take.
One week left till I start my third year.

Can't always trust the advertised price
I bought concert tickets today. One was advertised as $15 and the other $17.50. However, I paid $43. I had $41 in cash and had a credit gift card w/ $24 left over. The concerts are for Cobra Starship & The Academy Is..., so they better put on awesome shows. Cause I was gonna use some of that money for other stuff. I forgot what the guy at the box office said as to why the price was more. Something about venue or technical stuff. Man, than they should list that as the price. Seriously!
I looked at an online syllabus for a cla$$ I'm taking, Plants in Society. My advisor told me a lot of theatre students take that cause it is really easy. Doesn't really seem it. It is a lecture but they actually take attendence. Normally they don't. And the lecture is at night for me, so I really hafta keep Mondays clear. I was freaking out about work. Might as well live up my last week before I hafta do academic stuff. Though this cla$$ in particular doesn't start till the second week of school.
So Long & Good Night . . .
