Well, I went into Melbourne City last night and saw Wicked. It was absolutely brilliant, whatsername had a brilliant voice - y'know, the green one. Amazing.

Melbourne at night is just astounding. I've never been into the city at night before; it's awesome! Everyone's so fancy... well, either fancy or off their faces. And there are so many wierdly-dressed people - it's just a quilt of imperfection Gotta love it.

I FINALLY have enough time to do everything I promised everyone I'd do... there's the hosting of the Refuge Awards with Bomeraaaang, finishing off the Refuge Movie Trailer, writing more in the Refuge RPG, catching up a bit with TV.com - although I'm a bit hesitant to do that, considering all the spoilers flying around. Not to mention the thousands of competitions I'm entering - drawing, writing, musical...

Speaking of spoilers, Sozin's Comet came in the mail today.

That sounds wierd.

Yeah - I tore out the poster at the back and stuck it on my wall, but I haven't read the book yet - and I won't until I've seen the finale. Aw man, it's gonna be EPIC...

So yeah, sorry if I haven't been commenting on people's blogs lately, but I've been hell busy.

First up: I'm utterly exhilarated I did far better in my exams than I thought; I'm just amazed! I'm glad I don't suck as much as I thought I did My results are as follows:

SOSE: 82%
German: 84%
Math: 95%
English: 88%
Science: 90%
Health: 81%
Music: 88%

*feels nerdy* Let's just hope I do as well for my end of year exams!!

Secondly: I've decided that I'm gonna try the 100 themes challenge . If you don't know what it is and are too lazy or busy to click the link, the 100 Themes Challenge involves drawing a different picture for each of the 100 different themes provided in anime/manga form (or something similar). So far I've only done theme #1 (Introduction) but hey, I only joined last night!

Thirdly, I'm participating in our College Music Night tomorrow. As well as performing about a thousand and five songs with the choir, I'm in a string quartet, playing the cello part with three violinists. It's going to be so much fun - it sounded awesome at our last rehearsal.

I had my last exam on Tuesday - music - but I hadn't gotten around to catching up with tv.com yet.

So I've already gotten back two of my exam results - 82% for SOSE and 95% for math! I'm really happy with that. I hope I go as well with my other subjects - I'm really worried about science. The chemistry section was really easy, but I got thrown off by the microbiology. Screw cells.

I have a new piano student. Her name's Paris, and she's three years old. Every lesson is a challenge for both of us, but it's really rewarding when she plays the first bar of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and her mother's face fills with a sheer, simple joy. It's really quite amazing.

Sorry to break it to all you who've actually noticed my absense, but I still won't be online as often. I'm performing in a string quartet in a while and I need to rehearse for that, and I'm in our college production which has rather long rehearsals. However, I'm still on the Refuge quite frequently, so you can always talk to me there

Besides that, I don't really think I'll be all that active on the forum from now on anyway. There are just too many fail threads; all the good ones were lost when all the awesome posters migrated to the Refuge. But hey, I'll stay for the blogging.

On another note, I've got exams next week (and one the week after) so please excuse me if I'm not online as frequently I've got a lot of studying to do for Science, SOSE and German. And to all those complaining that they've still got a few days left of school, please suck it up, as I've got my exams and THEN another six months before MY summer holidays. Wanna swap?

Gah, I entered a short story competition in January this year, and they said the results would be back in late May. Well, it's the 31st and the results still aren't here - you can't get any later than that! It's driving me crazy *twitches*
