Awesome TP Collector Items!
Yes, I was at Target today, and guess what I found. Here is what I typed in a minigame in the Zelda Alliance Union.
Just bought some new TP collector items, they are awesmoe. It was this pack at Target that came with a 1:6 scale of the Master Sword and the Hylian shield. They are from Nintendo and hand crafted metal. It also came with the official TP soundtrack, and a verfication letter signed by Miyomoto. It is all wrapped up in a nice sturdy TP case. Courtasy of govindh3's sister Gayathri

Twilight Princess, new emblem, and new password.
Yes, I have not been on GS for abou 2 days, so I had to catch up on a lot of blogs. I have also been distracted TP. I have been taking the game very slowely exploring everything possible. I have already put 41 hours into the game
. I have 9 hearts and have not even started the 4th dungeon yet. I have 8 golden bugs left to collect, and I have gotten 9 poe souls. I have the big wallet that hold 600 rupies, and I have the big quiver that holds 60 arrows. I also have all three bomb bags. But the coolest thing, is that I got the Master Sword. I just have to say the sword is so much cooler in this gmae than in other LoZ. It is so much longer and looks a lot better. But the best thing is that I can choose to be a human or wolf whenever I want, which is really convient. When you are a wolf now, you dont have to worry about the Twilight anymore because you got rid of it for now. I did not like the Twilight, it was too dark and the music was not cool. I cant think of more stuff to say progress wise, so I will tell you about something else.
That is fishing. When you first get a bobber fishing rod at the beggining of the game, it is not very fun. But later you can lure fish and that is where it gets really fun. You hold A to raise the rod and then hold the Wii mote back, swing it foward, and release A. Just like real fishing. When you get a fish, you pull back on the Wii mote and reel by swining the nunchuk in circles like a real reel. It is so much fun.
But now the age old question, Will TP really be better than OoT? I have thought about it forever now, and I am really starting to think this is the game that can top my number 1 favorite game of all time. When all of you guys get to play it, you will know what I mean. I dont care what any of you think, but I am going to change my score from a 9.8 to a 10.
Just to let everyone know, I upgraded an emblem, to Tagger Maker. Yes I did have Flirt, but now I am Tagger Maker. I do not see the point of tagging, but I still do it for emblems.
One more thing, I had to change my old password because I think my brother The5thAvacaldo keeps logging in as me and screwing up my profile. I got a letter from GS saying that I was spamming and when I clicked to see what it was, there was just a bunch of random letters. My old password was "freshprince." If any of you know, it is from the show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, staring Will Smith. I love that show, but not as much as The Simpsons
. Anyways, that is also where my awesome user name "ThunderChunky" comes from. In the intro of Fresh Prince, you see Will spinning around in a chair, while in the backround is a bunch of graffiti. Look on the right side when he is at a certain angle, and you will see Thunder Chunky written in blue.
Thats about all for now peoples.
The Call of Duty, and more Twilight Princess
So I was at Best Buy yesterday and I decided to get CoD3 for my Wii. This is yet another game for the Wii that GS has under-rated. The controls do take about an hour to get down, but after that, the game is very fun. Once again, CoD has done it with their sound. Everything sounds so awesome and real life like. If there is one game you really feel like your are a part of, it is CoD. It is so cool turning the volume up really loud as you hear a plane behind you and then it gets louder as it passes over your head. I would give it about an 8.5 so far.
Now on to more TP. I am taking the game very slowely and exploring everything I can. But on top of that, I never put the game down. I have put about 27 and a 1/2 hours into the game so far. And I am only in the third dungeon, Lakebed Temple. Now about this temple. Before you enter, you will have to have something to breath underwater with right. Just like the different tunics in the previous games. Well earlier in the game, you met the queen of the Zora's. She asked you to save her son who got sick on his way to deliever a message to Hyrule Castle. When you do this, she will give you something that is not really a tunic, but it is called Zora Armor. These garmets are similar to turning into a Zora in MM. You can swim faster and breath underwater. But you do not swim as fast as in MM. So I went back to Lakebed Temple and entered. Time passed, and I progressed more and more through the temple, until finally I came to the mini boss. I killed the mini boss with mostly ease, and when you defeat him, you get your reward. Now the Hookshot is one of the most useful and famous items in LoZ. But in TP, it is called the Clawshot. This has to be the coolest item I have gotten so far in the game. I like it so much, because it goes fast, far, and looks cool. But the thing that really made me think this thing was awesome was what you could do after you hooked on to something. If you hooked to the celing, you then can move the control stick on the Nunchuk to pull you self up or down. It was so awesome
. It looks like some sort of stealth thing, and I bet you can use it like that later. I havent had this much fun with a game probably since Ninja Gaiden or God of War.
I will probably keep you updated with more of these little mini reviews in the future.
Also I forgot to wish the 360 on November 23
.
Happy Birthday 360

My Twilight Princess Impressions.
Well I was one of the lucky few to get a Wii and TP on launch date, as some of you know. And so far all the games for the Wii, GS hasn't been very imaginative about. The biggest shock, was probably TP to most of us. Let me just say this now, there is no way in hell TP deserved an 8.8. But that's over and it wont be changed. Let GS think what they want to think *cough dumbass* I'll admit this, when I first started playing TP, I did have my doubts. Mainly because I was left handed and it was hard for me to use the pointer in my right hand. Also, about the game its self. When you first start it is not the most alluring game out there. This made me have my doubts. The controls were hard for me to get down at first, and the action wasn't the best. But after about 2 hours, I finally had the controls down. I came home from school the next day, hoping TP would show me that it could redeem its self, and it did. As soon as I turned it on, it felt like a totally new game. Right when I entered Forest Temple, the game immadietly got awesome. The action got more intense, and I saw more of the classic stuff from OoT, like jumping gaps and shooting enemies with my slingshot. I also have to say, Link looks great in this game. Everything on him is so detailed and thought out. The graphics were a lot better than I expected. They are not the greatest but for the Wii, I thought they were pretty damn good. One of the most important questions about the Wii is will it handle well? And yes, you have so much control over Link. It is very free roaming and easy to control. And I just thought I might add, no you do not get tired from swinging the Wii mote.
Now about Wolf Link. I don't think it is as fun as being regular Link, but it's still cool. It is also very easy to control Wolf Link. When you first enter the twilight, you are turned into a Wolf, aka "The beast with blue eyes." Midna soon finds you locked away in a prision cell. She knows you are helpless so she decides to help you in return for your loyality. You can do some cool things when you are Wolf Link, but the main downside is you can not use the items you can when you are Link. Also with that, the only way to turn back to a human is to collect these "tears" and put them in the Vessle of Light. I dont know if it will remain this way for the whole game, but it has so far. These tears have taken the form of bugs that you have to hunt and kill, it is very easy to kill them, but it takes a long time and gets annoying. It is not a bad thing being Wolf Link, but I am always very happy when I turn back to human.
One more thing, the sound. It does not deserve a 7 like Jeff said, but something more of a 9 I would say. The only reason for this is the speaker on the Wii mote. I did not expect the sound it emitted to be perfect, but it does get annoying sometimes. When you roll into a wall, it makes this crappy smashing sound. Some of the sounds are entertaning, but a lot of them aren't that great. For that reason, I turned the sound of the Wii mote off. Also about the no orchorstrated music, yes it is sad to not have much, but there is not reason you should lower the score for that reason.
So over all, TP is one of the greatest games I have ever played and I will be at it for hours and hours. I still do not know if it can match the standards of OoT, but I will have to wait and find out. So far, I would give the game a 9.8. Based on GS scoring system, it would look a little like this.
Gameplay - 10
Graphics - 9
Sound - 9
Value - 10
Tilt/Reviewers Tilt - 10
I wrote a little practice review, and that all equals out to a 9.8.
