I believe it's time for another blog thingie

On Monday I got a call from my recruitment agent and she had the greatest news ever 2 weeks ago I applied for a position at RegTel (a telecommunications regulator in Ireland), went for 2 interviews which were successful enough I guess so yeah, got the job so I'm all happy now. Starting on Monday woohoohooo! The hours are 9am-5pm with an hour for lunch, the money's excellent too, 28 500 euro (approx $45 000) per annum which is pretty good for somebody just starting off

The tournament of the year started on Monday so I can't peel my eyes off the TV Ernests Gulbis is my guy and what a guy he is!!!

Yesterday Ernests beat American John Isner 7-5 7-5 6-7(3-7) 7-6(8-6) in the first round and tomorrow he is facing the No.2 seeded Rafael Nadal. To be honest I though Isner and Gulbis were going to kill each other with their serves. These 2 players are very alike, amazing and extremely powerful serve, one ace after another... So now I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's match against Nadal.

It's located in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, within a 5 minute walk from the sea. Our windows overlook a golf couurse, there's a tennis court and a swimming pool (pity I can't swim though). There might be a gym too AND there's a running track. Perfect. We'll be moving in in a week or 2. It's a completely new development and they are still putting the TVs on walls and placing vases lol. Now I just need to find a job in the area. Oh the excitement!

The rent is 1400 euro per month (approx $2200) though, Pricey but dammit, totally worth the money.

Thought I'd post a random and crappy blog. It's kinda slow today so I've plenty of time to use the interwebs for entertainment Did some apartment search. 1300 euro (slightly over $2000) for a 1 bedroom apartament in the city centre isn't that bad . The financial district (IFSC) is the area we are primally looking for but we'll see how it goes.

Still haven't found my replacement. But I don't really care anymore I am leaving this place in 2 weeks so looks like I won't have to train this person.
